Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The wood floors in the picture are linoleum, not wood. The bed is also just a low quality mattress on a metal framed platform (no box springs). The cleanliness was not so great when first checking into the room. There was curly hair (of the personal kind) both on the bathroom toilet seat and in the shower. The refrigerator did not work. Maintenance had to come fix that first thing.

On my way from Denver to Arches Park, I decided to stay in Grand Junction. Hotel staff was very friendly, gave me tips on my trip to Arches Park and back.
Room was clean and comfy for a night. No shampoo or shower gel was provided, so bring your own. Location was super convenient right next to Interstate.

Front desk was very friendly, we had a double room with 2 beds. Everything was very clean. Very new . Can't say anything bad.The room has a fridge, microwave and stove. There is also plenty of racks for hanging clothes as well. When I first walked in , it reminded me of IKEA !

I was very disappointed in this facility’s commitment for keeping their staff and guests safe.
The staff is in an office with walls but there is no barrier to protect them and they are not wearing masks. They have not been trained to clean room keys or pens etc. There was no signage asking guests to wear masks and there was no hand sanitizer anywhere for guest and staff use.
This may not be required but it’s best practice!

The front desk staff was very helpful and efficient - my issue is with management and owners.

I paid for 4 nights - called Expedia who helped me book this for assistance with checking out early and a refund. Expedia got on it and provided great follow up. I stayed one night and the Hotel refunded two nights. I think they were being shortsighted in not taking precautions and even more shortsighted in not providing a full 3 night refund.
So book elsewhere unless you are not worried about a Pandemic!!

Made a reservation a couple of days before we needed them on a business trip to Grand Junction, when we arrived at 4pm we were told they didn't have a room because they had overbooked and manager was out of town for the weekend so they didn't know what to do. Didn't even say sorry or gives us recommendation for somewhere else. Totally incompetent. Wouldn't stay here ever...

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. This place feels more like a halfway house than a hotel. I am pretty sure I witnessed a “trick” being negotiated in the elevator. My room was dirty and the smell of smoke so intense that I had to go buy my own pillows and bedding. Upon checking in I immediately started looking for other accommodations but, as it was college move in week, I couldn’t find anything available for my entire stay. When I complained my rate was dropped to $50 which is apparently the going rate. If this had been the listed rate when I made my reservation I would have recognized something was wrong with this place but for $109 I at least expect clean and safe accommodations. This place is gross. I would avoid at all cost!

This hotel is very clean. The staff are very nice. We are having to stay here for a while with our small black chihuahua until we find a place to rent and the experience, while not one we would prefer, has been very nice. The cleaners that clean our room every couple of weeks have been very good and very hard workers. The front desk staff have always been very helpful and kind and have worked with us very nicely. I was worried before staying here because I have never stayed at an extended hotel before, but this stay has been a dream compared to what I was expecting. I am so grateful our dog is allowed to be with us too. My only regret is there is no pool ha ha, but otherwise I am very happy with the service and room we are staying in. Thank you for the good experience. Melissa J

We chose the Woodspring Suites because it was a mid range cost hotel. It is a long stay motel so there are large refrigerators and a small cook top. There are no queen or king size beds. We had, by accident, chosen a ADA room which they informed us at check in was unavailable. Glad we didn't need it. The beds squeaked and the rooms and hallways were worn down. Would not stay there again.

I got COVID and had to cancel my stay. They charged me $250 to change or cancel the room. I would stay anywhere else but here. The total stay was $250. I travel weekly for business and I will make sure our company never uses this hotel in future travel.

We stopped here for a night because they have laundry facilities, but quickly realized it’s like a halfway house full of addicts or perhaps former addicts, maybe using government funds to stay there. Our floor reeked of marijuana, the laundry room has a sharps box in it, and the people we passed in the hallway were just rough. We bagged up our wet laundry and noped it out of there, choosing to lose the night’s rent and move to a different hotel. Lesson learned, as far as “extended stay” hotels are concerned…
