This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The staff was cheerful & helpful. Everything was in such good condition that we were astonished that the hotel is three years old; we thought it was brand new. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. The exercise room was outstanding - if I were to add one thing, it would be a real exercise bike, as vs the physical therapy bike that was there. The location was great - easy to walk to restaurants, stores, and even a multiplex movie theater. The nice-sized pool is indoors & the hottub (also fairly large) was outside. The laundry isn't free, but at $1.50 per load, it's almost free. Everything worked & everything was sparkling clean. We'll stay here again next time we're in Grand Junction!

We spent one night here and would absolutely stay again! The hotel is fairly new, the studio room was spacious, and well equipped. We had a refrigerator, plenty of utensils and dishes, microwave and dishwasher. The sofa and chair were comfortable, with a curtain to pull for shielding the bed from light or television noise. Breakfast was included and because of Covid-19 there was not a buffet , you ordered off of a menu and it was handed to you on a tray. Basic breakfast, but handy and the staff working that morning were very pleasant. There were disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer readily available. Well done!

Expected better from the reviews. Only there for a quick overnight on the way to Utah national parks, and glad we weren't staying. Nobody at front desk when we arrived. They were chatting in the back room. Check in agent came out and was rude and not wearing a mask. Didn't get her name but I think she had nose piercing. No mention of Hilton status, no amenity or upgrade offered. Nothing. Room was not a suite, just a long, somewhat narrow sterile room with a hanging curtain dividing the living area from the sofa and kitchenette area. Reminded me of a hospital room, only the beds were much worse. Hard as a rock, like sleeping on a box spring. One small TV in the room, situated at the far end away from the beds so you pretty much couldn't watch TV from bed. Heavy institutional sliding door to the bathroom with no door knob or easy way to open and close it. Sort of quasi closet with another hanging drape. The whole room seemed a little bit like an architecture student's failed assignment at something modern, or maybe just cheap. The mini fridge was as loud as a helicopter and had to be turned off if you want any sleep. The bathroom smelled like sewage, like there is a venting problem with the plumbing. Poor water pressure for the shower. Everything was newish, and cleanish, and you did have a decent sized equipped kitchen if you're into that sort of thing. I'm not, especially in COVID times. Breakfast was actually better than I expected, though that's probably because I expected very little. They had several decent choices and prepared them efficiently, though they need more staff. When I checked out the following morning, thinking about the satisfaction promise on the wall, I mentioned a few of the most egregious problems I had had, including the sewage smell. The agent checking me out said she'll make a note of it and tell someone. That was it. No offer of anything, no apology, no surprise, so I guess they already know it or don't care. Not a fan of this brand/design and not a fan of this property.

Thank you, Jasmine, for your pleasant welcoming and superb service. Breakfast hostess is just as kind and professional. Room has full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and kitchen dishes. Blackout curtains and no traffic noise make for a great night's sleep. Facility is Covid-19 compliant. Breakfast is served that includes breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, and cereal. Highly recommend.

Never stayed at a Home2 Suites before. It was better than I was expecting. We only stayed 1 night, passing through. Room was more comfortable than I was expecting. The room was a very efficient use of space (like convenient counters and luggage storage areas). With a family of 5, there was plenty of room for us all (and our luggage). Bathroom was clean and bright. Really great to have the kitchenette, even if we were only staying one night.

The outside firepit area looked like fun, but we didn't have time to use it. A little disappointed the outdoor hot tub wasn't working, but the kids liked the pool (which was very clean)

Breakfast buffet was adequate but nothing special.

We were little confused on what the mask policy was. When we checked in that evening, the young lady at the front desk was wearing a mask. She was also super friendly and welcoming. When we checked out in the morning, the woman at the desk had no mask (which had me more concerned given that she was probably also handling food at the buffet).

At the time, the State of CO was under "indoor mask" guidance. But we also stopped at the supermarket next door, where no one was wearing masks there either (including employees), even though there was an announcement going on overhead saying "all customers and employees need to wear masks". So I guess Grand Junction doesn't consider itself part of CO, or considers itself somehow exempt from such statewide mandates. So if you have COVID concerns, you might want to avoid this hotel (and this town as a whole). But if not, it was a perfectly fine stay.

Located close to Kohl’s, other stores, grocery store, and restaurants. We got a 2 queen bed suite as they don’t offer any King bed rooms. Since my husband had a cold, it was nice to have our own beds anyway. Bed and pillows were comfy, room was well cleaned with kitchenette furnished with plates, silverware, etc. we ordered dinner from nearby restaurant to go so was nice having the kitchenette. Staff was friendly, easy on off freeway. Grand Junction has really expanded in the area of the hotel.

What worked well: The breakfast and the breakfast attendants, who were outstandingly nice. The view from the room was very nice. It is great to have kitchen amenities, a couch area, and desk area.

What needs improvement: (1) The room's cleanliness and working order. The kitchen area was very nice and tidy. However, I noticed dog hairs in the carpet, and the white desk chair's base was very dirty. The shower's sliding glass doors would not stay shut. The covers of the shampoo and shower gel dispensers kept popping off, and the remote control's button kept falling off. The room felt worn down, and the colorful aesthetics felt a bit immature and unsophisticated. (2) Cleanliness of the hallways. Since there is no daily housekeeping, staff should do a nightly or early morning walk-through to pick up trash in the hallway. It feels gross to walk in the hallway and see full trash bags in the hallway because guests ran out of space in their room. (3) Pool and Hot Tub. The cloudy pool needed chlorine, and the hot tub was broken, unfortunately.

This was not a horrible experience, but I would not stay here again.

I love this hotel chain. I prefer to sit on a sofa or a chair in the evening. In so many hotels there is no place to sit except on the bed. We had a single queen room. It has a sofa to sit on. It has a kitchen, so I could brew a pot of tea in my own teapot that I bring with me (since most hotels only have coffee pots). There was a huge area to put 2 suitcases for my husband and myself. The lighting was great which doesn't happen in most hotels. All of these simple amenities add up to a perfect hotel room. I wish all hotels would learn from this model. The room was clean and freshly scrubbed. The reception staff was friendly. What more could you ask for?

My husband and i stayed here after a long day traveling from the national parks in Utah. We were super dirty and tired from hiking. Went into our first room and I could tell the bed didn’t look quite right. Pulled back the covers and discovered hair and rumpled (slept on) sheets. Bed was never changed. We moved to our second room of the night only to discover the same thing. Hair in the bed and sheets not changed. Our third room was upgraded to a suite and comped. I asked for clean sheets and changed my own bed. The room was filthy and I had to clean it myself at 10:30 at night! I will attach pics. The property mentioned that they were down to 4 cleaning people, and even stated that this was due to cleaning staff making more money on unemployment. With COVID concerns, cleaning is key, and If you can’t keep up with cleaning you shouldn’t book out your hotel. They put those dumb cleaning stickers on your door to try and make you feel safe. It’s a lie. Although hopefully a snafu, I would never recommend this property to anyone. Having said all this, the front desk clerk, Kristin, I believe, did her best and I believe was both embarrassed and empathetic with our hopeless situation.

No idea how this can have a Hilton flag attached to it. Basically its a glorified Motel 6.
Seldom anyone at the front desk.
Bathroom smaller then a motel 6. If you are over 6’2 and 200lbs too small to move around.
Shower pressure was fine
Dingy lighting in bathroom
The towels feel like sandpaper.
Refrigerator runs all night making hard to stay asleep. Flashing light on smoke detector is bright!!
Kitchenette ok but no cooktop thats not good for an extended stay. You have to ask for a cooktop at the front desk.
Thermostat doesn’t function like a normal thermostat its basically an on/off switch.
Bed springs you can feel when laying down
Very Small TV for Hilton brand hotels many channels are blank.
Walls paper thin can hear next room like they were in your room
Trash truck picks up at 4am
Paper thin sheets you can see thru.
The carpet smells like rubber cause its not carpet its squares like a school gymnasium
Perhaps the only the plus is the location.
All in all it might be ok for 1 night but NOT for any longer.

As I am not the proprietor I am not able to address your question. However, regardless of where you are from, it goes beyond my understanding why they would deny you a room. I do hope you contacted the Manager and the home office. I wish you well. I, a Colorado resident, must say they were absolutely welcoming and caring when we stayed at this location, great staff.
