This well-maintained older motel is within easy strolling distance of several good eateries across the river via the pedestrian bridge. The desk clerk was welcoming, the room spacious and clean, and the bed comfy. Simple accommodations fit our agenda and budget.

This is an older structure with rooms that have been somewhat updated. The rooms have exterior entrances. Carpet, lighting and some bathroom fixtures have been updated. The bathroom fixtures were in good condition and easy to use. The room was clean and had a single queen bed with a soft upper layer and a firm foundation. The linens were clean and soft. There were only 2 pillows, both of which were firm and thin. The desk location was not especially functional, and there were no electrical outlets near it, although the room had plenty of outlets on other walls. Heat/air conditioning were supplied by a relatively new Amana unit with easy-to-use controls, but it was somewhat noisy and it frequently cycled on and off. Blackout curtains helped screen out light from the outside, which was considerable. There was no road noise, despite the building being close to West 6th Avenue, a major thoroughfare. A large HDTV was mounted high on the wall opposite from the head of the bed; the channel package was basic satellite with no premium channels. The receptionist was cheerful and helpful, especially considering that my room had been booked for the following week by mistake. The complimentary continental breakfast was fairly basic with bagels, cereal, etc., but there is a Village Inn within walking distance. This property is a relatively comfortable and convenient stay for budget-conscious travelers.

We thought this was a great hotel with wonderful service. Picked us up quickly from the train station and everyone was pleasant and helpful at the hotel. I’d read some reviews that the beds were not comfortable, I disagree! The pool was amazing! I also liked how the free breakfast was organized by reservations so the area didn’t getting overwhelmed with folks while you were there. Wonderful that you can walk anywhere from there too into town with the walking bridge. No need for a car!

This motel is fine. The value for the money is medium. It is clean, but not overly nice. The beds are not comfortable, parking is very limited. Wish there was coffee in the rooms.
My biggest complaint is that we were charged $30 upon checkout for a “dirty towel”. My baby had just gotten out of the tub and I had her wrapped in a towel on the bed when she started vomiting. I caught the vomit in the towel. I’m not sure how to have better handled the situation (puke on the bed? The floor?). To compare- when staying at a hotel a couple years ago, my son got sick all over his bed. The hotel sent someone in the middle of the night, took the soiled bedding, made him a new bed and did so courteously. I simply cannot believe being charged $30
for baby vomit on a towel. It isn’t the money. It’s the principle.

Our Glenwood Springs Inn stay was very good. The staff was friendly, receptive and attentive. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There's a roof-top terrace with chairs to relax in. The free continental breakfast was on par with waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee. The motel location is great, providing easy access to the Hot Springs pool and downtown, as well as parks and walking trails.

The motel itself is older but once you walk inside the rooms, they have all been completely redone. We loved the location it was within walking distance of all the things we wanted to do, which included bike trails, hot springs and the downtown area. They have a sun deck, which was a great place to relax at the end of the day. They have charging stations for people with electric vehicles. The room where they serve breakfast is set up like a large family room, so if you need a larger space to hang out in that room is perfect. Would highly recommend the motel!

We try to patronize local, family-owned hotels when traveling. This was our first stay at this lovely little inn and we had a wonderful stay! The beds were very comfortable, the rooms clean and the property overall well-kept. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We will definitely stay here in the future for our next winter ski trip.

Despite being on the main road through town we didn't experience any noise as a result of the location. We had a comfortable room with modest kitchenette and fully equipped bathroom. Breakfast is included in a separate building on site with plenty of choice to keep most people happy.
Central location means that once parked in the ample car park it's easy to walk around town. Hot springs are walkable as is the main restaurant area.

We have stayed at the Glenwood Springs Inn for over 20 years. The owners and staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, and the complimentary breakfast offers many different items The location is within walking distance of both hot springs, downtown, and lots of restaurants.

We are an older couple who prefer motels with 1st floor drive-up rooms. This motel is perfect for us. It was immaculately clean, quiet and everything worked as it should. The bed was comfortable. While there was no coffee maker in the room, coffee and breakfast was available just a few steps away and my husband was very happy with it and he's picky! As a smoker I especially appreciated the chairs just outside the door with an ashcan readily available. While the city is quite a hike away, parking seems not to be a big issue there, so this should be a good fit for those who want to stay a while. The rate was good and we didn't have to mortgage the house.

It would be a LONG walk of about 1/2 mile. You have to walk across the Colorado River pedestrian bridge. You would need to carry / stroll luggage. Glenwood Springs is a very walkable town.
I don't really remember, but I know there were muffins, juice, milk, coffee, bagels and cream cheese, and make your own Belgium waffles.
There is continuous bus service between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. I would contact Roaring Fork Public Transportation or look them up on-line. I know they publish a schedule. Good Luck!
Nope. No Hot Tub. I *Highly* recommend going to the Glenwood Hot Springs or Iron Mountain Hot Springs. Make it a vacation to remember!
