Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here one night during our recent visit. Yes it’s budget as most of the places I stay are. But I was pleased. The staff was very friendly and our room was clean. No complaints here! One of our group didn’t want to hike hanging lake so the lady at the office was nice enough to work it out so that one person wasn’t on the street till we returned. I wish I had gotten her name. Kudos to her!

The cabins are so modern and clean! I always look for a good cabin deal because it gives you privacy and you don't have to worry about noise. I will stay here every time I'm in Glenwood! The cabins are not that well advertised online but I'm so glad that I stumbled across the cabins. We loved staying there.

My reservation had to be changed twice due to family issues and Julie was unbelievably kind and helpful. The computer reservation was very difficult if not impossible to change - after a half hour wait to speak to a person the man I talked to actually disconnected me when I tried to totally cancel the reservation. Julie advised me to cancel everything and remade them directly with the Inn at the same rate. Both women at the desk were very very accomodating.

We've been happily staying at this cozy little lodge for over 10 years during all 4 seasons.
After checking the Red Mountain Inn website for any changes or increases in rates, we discovered the same nightly bargains as were listed for years previously for an assortment of room sizes.

Upon arrival, there were different faces manning the front desk. Our attempts to rent a few rooms for our ski week were declined, at which time we were abruptly turned away unless we were interested in an extended stay in excess of 30 days.
It would appear that previous options for nightly or weekly traveler stays have been eliminated as of September of 2022. Unfortunately they haven't bothered to update their website or marquis signage 6 months later, which caused us an unnecessary confrontation onsite by the newly presiding owners/management.

We should have called ahead and avoided this unfortunate change in accommodations. The lovely Red Mountain Inn and their long gone friendly staff will be deeply missed!

At the time of this posting, the Red Mountain Inn website continues to falsely advertise and publish non-existent nightly room & cabin accommodations and rates. Do not believe what you read on their website or show up here for a room rental unless you're a transient laborer faced with the local housing shortage and need a place to live month to month. Bummer!

We always stay at Red Mountain Inn when we visit Glenwood Springs. It’s a nice clean play to stay. They always take good care of us. They opened up the hot tub for us so we could soak in it. They are always very accommodating. They offer continental breakfast which is really nice. Would definitely recommend staying there!!

My family and I had saved and planned for a wonderfull trip to Glenwood Springs. The town is full of life and great beauty. We had a awfull experience with the front office manager, a very large women named Karen. Karen should attend some form of professional schooling, before calling herself a manager. We will never return to The Red Mountain Inn, and will tell everyone we know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is a joke, we were planning to stay at the Red Mountain Inn for my 30th birthday On February 5, 2006. We had to cancel our plans on January 20, 2006, and this company still charged us to stay there even when we never checked in and we had already canceled our reservations. This place REFUSES to give back our money and denies any wrong doing. NEVER, EVER will I stay at this inn or EVER recommend to anyone!!! WHAT A JOKE!!!

My wife and I have been staying at Red Mountain Inn for many many years and will never return. The rooms are run down and smell, no coffee maker, contential, breakfast is a joke, staff is very rude and inconsiderate.
Reservations were made for us and our sons family on our first trip in July 2006 for our second trip in August. In August we were told that only one night was reserved. There was nothing done on their part to accomodate their mistake. Alot of arguing with desk help but no management would meet with us. Do not stay there, Ever! No window locks, no security on door, no parking!!!

We stayed in a two bedroom cabin here in June 2003 and found the facilities great for families like us who have lots of kids. Full kitchen facilities, two queen beds and a pullout couch all added to the comfort. Our room had two porches, one that looked onto a nice miniature golf course. Kinda weird but also kind of neat. Pool is modest size but fine for the number of guests. Also has a small 1-foot-deep pool perfect for little kids. Hot tub is perfect for tired adults. Good location in town, though not within walking distance of hot springs pool. We highly recommend for big families.

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy for standard reservations. Multiple room reservations (typically 3+ rooms) are subject to a shorter cancellation deadline.
