So unbelievably unprofessional and rude their TVs are out of date rooms are not compared to other aloft hotels and the room across us had an 18 year old and a 17 year old “experimenting” with mushrooms which then called the police on themselves for overdosing and the desk won’t tell us what’s going on and not offering to switch rooms or a discount my kids were scared and the floor was littered with police and ambulance pulling this kid on a stretcher
If you are considering staying at Aloft Broomfield, you would be better off sleeping in the field next to the hotel! My mother was scheduled for surgery at a nearby hospital the next morning after we checked in. The room was filthy to the point that before I would let my mom get settled in, I went to the front desk to ask for housekeeping to visit our room. I was advised by the front desk that there was no housekeeping personnel on property. I then asked for cleaning supplies so I could clean our room. The front desk employee came back with cleaning supplies and advised me that she wasn't supposed to give them to me. I also asked why there was no access to amenities. So I asked to speak to the hotel manager. He comes out to speak with my on the defensive. I asked why the website had not been updated to show the amenities that were no longer available due to Covid restrictions. He then accused me of wanting a discount, which was not the case. He was rude, unaccommodating and unprofessional. I procede to return to my room where I cleaned it myself. I was there 5 days with no housekeeping services. I asked the front desk what I should do with my trash and used linens and was advised to leave them outside of my room in the corridor. 3 days later, they are still in the corridor next to my room door. The ice that was available came in sandwich size ziplock bags. There were no services. One evening I approached the front desk employee for some clean towels. I interrupted her eating her Italian sausage sandwich at the front desk. Every day the hotel van was parked in the handicap parking space. I have always had a great experience at Marriott properties until this place! C'mon Marriott! Up your game!…
For the cost, this hotel is a great option. It reminded me of a typical hotel in Europe. Efficient, small but cozy. I had a king room, which had more than enough space to sleep, bath, and work. The desk was placed at the window so I could look outside when I got bored. Plenty of chargers for my laptop and phone. The best part for me was the gym. Very well equipped and spacious, as long as you are the only one there. Which I was, because, due to Covid, you have to reserve time. Free weights, treadmills, ellipticals, floor mats, and a combo weight machine, water cooler, nice sized TV, mirrors. The lobby is quite spacious and I expect that once Covid lifts it has a potential to be a fun gathering spot. A bar (not in operation while I was there), lounge area, pool table. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful! A few things to mention - again, remember the cost / value factor. The location is not near much in terms of food or drink. If you don't have a car, this is a problem. I had to do Doordash for lunch each day. The towels are very course. Beware! Due to Covid, they had removed the coffeemaker from the room, so I had to request one on my second morning there. As for the bathroom, it was quite small and difficult to maneuver in. Also, it took some time to figure out how to get the water to the right temperature. Initially, it came out scalding, and then I had to work with it to get to a comfortable temp. By the third morning, I had figured it out. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for business travel and solo travel. Would not be great for families.…
I have stayed at both alofts recently in the Broomfield area, and this one is very disappointing compared to the one located closer to I25 in the Orchard area of Westminster/Broomfield. The lobby was very unkept and the furnishings in the rooms were a bit beaten down. Staff was pleasant though
Nice , clean hotel. Check in and check out was easy. Very conveniently located to downtown Denver, Rocky Mountains and Breckinridge. It is pet friendly and there is free wifi. I enjoyed staying here, would come back and would recommend!
