Detailed Reviews
Our first time at the Pullman Olympic Park and we have had a faultless two night stay. We were greeted on arrival by Joe the porter who made us feel welcome and helped us with our bags and parking arrangements. Check in with Lowanna at the front desk was a pleasure. Lowanna provided great information about the hotel and the nearby aquatic centre and a complimentary upgrade to a level 13 room was a wonderful bonus. We quickly realised that staff at the Pullman were prepared to go above and beyond. A great balance of warm and friendly with a professional standard.
Our room was amazing. Great views of the Olympic park precinct and if it wasn't for the smoke haze we could have seen the city. The set up is practical and warm and the bathroom absolutely spotless with plenty of room. One of the best bathrooms we've ever stayed in. The bedding is excellent and very comfy.
Just when we thought it couldn't get any better we decided to book the seafood platter for dinner in the Bacar restaurant and it exceeded our expectations. A beautiful meal with everything tastefully prepared and served with love. Thoroughly enjoyable and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The breakfast was perfect and the omelettes made to order were fluffy and delicious.
We enjoyed the ATP tennis which is a short walk away and also visited the Aquatic Centre just across the road which the hotel provides discounted passes for. We loved it so much that we're back next week for the ATP tennis finals and booked an Executive room with club access. Can't wait!
Special mention to Bianca in the restaurant who made our breakfast experience so pleasant and to Jordan who took the time to show us the fitness centre and the club room facilities. The parking facilites are also good with direct access to the hotel.
Can't wait for our stay this weekend and highly recommend the hotel as a wonderful base to attend events or explore Sydney. Thank you Pullman Olympic Park

Have just returned from a girls weekend at the Pullman and it exceeded my expectations. The 5 star treatment started at the door . Rooms , spacious , spotless and super comfortable beds and the pillows a dream . I had a wonderful corner room that overlooked the park and views of the pretty skylines . The bathrooms was super spotless and the nice touch of luxury toiletries was great. We dined in the restaurant and had the set menu. It’s was 5 star , the lamb cutlets were delectable and presented beautifully and the waffles at breakfast were amazing . Special mention to the staff who were so attentive and accommodating of my requests . Nothing seemed a trouble and staff moved so quietly throughout the place .
If you want an experience and a complete relax in a wonderful environment, look no further . I’m bringing the family back in the holidays with bikes, scooter and their bathers . There is so much to do with all the outside open spaces . 10/10 Pullman - Sydney best kept secret!

A business trip with a difference this time due to the complications of interstate travel and Covid19 restrictions. Despite all that, the staff at Pullman Olympic Park went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. Special thanks to Sarah Hemsley for the work she did re-locating us when the Pullman was contracted to operate as a 'quarantine' location for International cricketers. Quite an experience

We stay in hotels a lot and have stayed in other Pullman before in other locations which is why we were a bit disappointed.
Firstly though the staff were all really lovely and we felt sorry for them because they were clearly under the pump.
We also had an issue with being charged a wrong rate but that was also rectified in house very professionally.
The real issue was the general feel of the place. I assume it was built around 20 years ago and is probably on the list for a renovation but when your paying for four star surely there is some expectation.
The room clearly had not been serviced for a while, it was coated in dust.
Getting tea bags and an extra two cups for our kids just never happened.
The bath plug had a hole in it, the shower cap fixed that!
The shower was more like a hose than a shower. Not a high pressure hose, more a garden hose on soak function.
Something I found really strange was the lack of a mini bar? Is this a covid thing? I don't really use them much but it made it make the room feel like a motel room rather than a hotel.
The overall feel was unkempt. Draws wouldn't stay closed, veneer peeling off, walls dirty. You get the idea.
If we had been staying at the sister ibis and the room was $170 we probably wouldn't have even noticed it was just not right for a Pullman branded hotel, in our opinion.

Dear J6745VLsimons, I am very disappointed to read of your experience, we do have high standards to which I am reading has fallen extremely short for your stay. I am pleased to read the staff were helpful and some of the issue you experience were rectified such as the billing. There is absolutely no excuse for dust or lack of cleanliness with the rooms, the draws expanding and not staying closed or missing veneer and plugs with holes I do express my sincerest apologies for your experience. May I please ask for you to contact me on h2732-rd@accor.com with your contact details so I can discuss your stay further and to identify the room you were occupying so I can address the issues. Kind Regards Dianne Knight Director of Rooms

I’m not enjoying writing negative comments so want to mention first of all Housekeeping staff Nitesh who is just a brilliant person. If I run my business I would love to have employees like Nitesh to work in my team. What a wonderful worker! Please let him give some Hospitality Lessons to Reception Desk, in particular Natalia who was extremely rude and unprofessional. Nitesh deserves good promotion. Thank you for your kindness and professional attitude, Nitesh!
On you website you write: “… we provide you with discounted passes to Sydney Aquatic Centre…” . The girl at the front desk was very surprised when I showed her this information from your website ( she couldn’t find it on her computer so I had to show it to her from my cellphone). She directed me to “supervisor on duty” who immediately made us regret booking at your hotel.
Would be nice to hear some feedback from you.

Dear kosmopolitkan I am so sorry to read of your experience with the Front Office team, we do offer discounted passes to the aquatic center and this should be well known knowledge within the team, the aquatic center has been closed for refurbishment for some time now and is expected to reopen in February 2022, I'm wondering if this is what may have caused the confusion but will check with the team to gauge their understanding. I am so sorry to read of the interaction you had with the team member at the desk, it is important to us that our guests are made to feel welcome and are treated with the upmost professional hospitality within all interactions, I will discuss your feedback with the person of concern. Please feel free to contact me directly on h2732-rd@accor.com (please provide phone number so I can call you directly) to ascertain more detail in regards to your interaction. It is very pleasing to read of your interactions with Nitesh, Nitesh is certainty an asset to the team and I will share your feedback with him also. Again I am so sorry to learn of your experience and hope to discuss further. Kind Regards Dianne Knight Director of Asset

Feel welcome? Nope, more like a transaction. Ordered room service straight away, advised 2 hours and 45 min wait, it was almost 7pm so we figured they were under the pump, so reduced the order to simply 1 bowl of plain fries, still no shifting the wait time. The shower was borderline disgusting. Not sure how long between a good mould scrub it had been. 1 light over the desk remained on no matter how many switches we flicked. Had to pull the key out of the power activation slot just to turn it off, but that affected the air/con. Got to listen to the lifts go up and down all night and morning. Next time we attend an event in Olympic Park, we'll stay out of the area and pay more for an Uber or Taxi.

Prime position for any event in this area. A large room on the 15th floor allowed a view of a very smokey Sydney. The service from arrival was first class, Elton John music playing and the staff interested in our plans prior to and our impression of the concert upon our return. Prompt bar service for complimentary drinks and a good buffet for breakfast. Valet service and a wonderful experience. A gorgeous mature gentleman on the door managing the vehicles! We loved his genuine welcome and care - however that did not take away from the genuine care and friendliness of the whole team! A beaming example of what unpretentious hospitality can be like! City hotels take note!

Very good experience at this property. Staff were all very good and worked well together, Steven provided a complementary upgrade to a suite which was appreciated very much. Check in was seamless and the club lounge staff were excellent. I had to leave prior to breakfast opening on one morning and the young lady was good enough to make me a take away coffee. Breakfast was good and staff were very professional. One of the nights I stayed was extremely busy with a major event and I noticed that staff levels were adequate and the team did an amazing job. I would certainly recommend this property, and the club lounge would be a worthy inclusion. Thank you team Pullman for a lovely stay, I’ll be certainly back as this property really values loyalty.

This was our first stay with a Pullman Hotel and we were very impressed. We were originally booked for earlier in the year before Covid so we were given a credit and decided to come here later in the year. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We stayed in an Executive Room with double beds which was very nice and a good size. The bathroom had a huge bath and seperate shower. Included in our room cost was free breakfast and access to the Executive Club for canapes & drinks from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Although with Covid this floor was closed so they had the drinks & snacks in the bar. It was house beer & wine which was pretty good. The plate selection was chicken bites, fried calamari, cheese, olives, cold meats etc...which was very tasty. We missed out on getting into Bacar Restaurant as it was booked out but enjoyed our breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

The hotel is in Sydney's Olympic Park, essentially across the street from the Olympic Aquatic Center (for which hotel sells admission passes). Train station is a short 2-block walk, and traffic is very light, making this area a nice quiet alternative to the congestion and noise of the main tourist district of Sydney. Hotel is comfortable and staff very friendly, and the breakfast and fitness center are both above-average. Hotel is rather expensive, but worth it if you want some peace and quiet. (Note: There were no big events happening at the Olympic Park during our stay).

Hi,
The carpark height is 2.2 with the loading dock at 3.2, we have the Novotel Driveway that can accommodate larger cars that span above the 2.2 m height, its always best to call in advance to let us know if your car will need parking on the driveway.

Yes, it's about 1km
Howdy; yes there is parking directly under these hotels. Be ready for a price shock - $50! I think it cost me $45 as a Accor member. You pay $50 in the city and that includes valet.
Overnight and all the next day. Valet parking is $45. Self parking is cheaper. Underground carpark is for Pullman and Novotel.
