Guests have four comforting guest rooms to choose from, each with a California king size bed, private bath and spectacular ocean, bay, and garden views. The rooms are named and designed to reflect our local attractions - Tide Pool, Redwoods, Trinity Alps, and Crab Pot - adding to the charm of this delightful seaside home. Start your day with a hearty 3 course served breakfast and some fun conversation, before heading to local beaches or nearby Redwood National and State Parks. Our larger Tide Pool and Trinity Alps rooms have outdoor private entrances with breakfast served to the room. Redwoods and Crab Pot have breakfast served in Reception and are located upstairs, across the hall from each other. Great for families. Redwoods has a larger bathroom, Crabpot is tiny with a tiny bathroom - same big bed and views + twin daybed available for 3rd.

We stayed two nights with Ty and Mike. Great place! We had the Tide Pool room which has floor to ceiling windows on two sides with a gorgeous Bay view. The bed was super comfortable, which is always hard to find as we sleep on a Temperpedic at home. The bed had soft, thick linens and very good pillows, also hard to find on the road. The breakfast was tremendous and delicious. Ty even went to get our take out dinner for us on the first night! We felt very well cared for, with all of the covid precautions in place. Our two sons enjoyed their rooms upstairs inside the house and Ty was so generous to offer one of our sons his own room as it was available. So generous and kind. We hope to be back soon! When we left, T and M sent us off with a most thoughtful Xmas gift of local treasures... we appreciate your hospitality and big hearts thoroughly!! Thank you so much!! …

My husband and I spent two nights at Trinidad B and B as part of a vacation to the California North Coast in late September. We had stayed here a dozen years ago and had great memories of this place. We were not disappointed--in fact, it was even better than we remembered it to be. Tyler is a wonderful host and did everything he could to make our visit wonderful. His breakfasts are incredible. Helping us to order dinner out and then picking it up for us and delivering to a beautifully set table was over the top. He was extremely careful and clear about taking appropriate cautions concerning Covid. I just can't say enough good about this visit except to say thank you, Tyler, and I hope that you keep your promise to share the chocolate chip cookie recipe. :)

What a beautiful get away for me and my husband. Tyler greeted us and was so amazing, thoughtful, helpful and kind. His customer service is beyond words and he makes you feel welcome and at home. The room was beautifully decorated with a breathtaking ocean view. The bed was the most comfortable bed I'd ever slept in on a vacation. I highly recommend this b&b and we will definitely be back.

First impressions set a tone. Tyler greeted us with a curt hello and walked us upstairs to the Trinity Alps Room above the garage. Pretty room, overlooking the harbor. We were taking in the view and he got straight to business about the "ridiculous" Covid rules, forms and masks for the "fake" disease he felt forced to accommodate. Yikes. At a bed and breakfast there is a lot of interaction with the host, from introduction, to errands to breakfast service. All of this done well, but with a brusque manner. So, we felt like the unwelcome relatives staying in the home. The room was beautifully decorated with lovely linens, photography, fresh flowers, kitchenette and huge windows with the spectacular view. The bathroom was cute, but tub shower very small and worn. Just a heads up. Tyler did mention they were planning to update it. So, a nice place to stay in a charming town if you catch the host in a good mood.…

Yikes is right! Slander and libel are serious — writing in your review that Tyler called the coronavirus a “fake disease” is libelous. We certainly aren’t forced to accommodate a disease, so that’s an odd comment. We’ve given up on you returning our calls about this, so I will leave a detailed response here for everyone else. Clearly we take our precautions seriously — we’ve successfully hosted hundreds of guests this year without any negative health incidents. You signed wellness screening forms, and Tyler adapted to your level of interactive comfort and safety, so it’s perplexing you’d say he called anything fake. Everyone has different experiences and comfort with interactions since this outbreak, perhaps you miscommunicated yours? Any curtness you felt would have been better addressed in the moment. We feel safe and comfortable not covering our faces, hand shaking, and yes, even hugging with guests who are similarly comfortable. We are happy to accommodate the smaller percentage of guests requesting minimal interaction, masking, and texting — so really, whatever helps guests be comfortable and feel safe ends up being best for us too. It’s not just an “errand” when Tyler helped you order dinner, then went and picked it up for you, delivered it to your room and took away everything after you finished. That was an extended courtesy of service he chose to offer you. Helping guests have a more enjoyably safe dinner in, has always been met with grace and gratitude, so your service comments here are unexpected and yes, I’m sure his feelings were hurt. Reviewing the texts you sent 1 “👍 8:00 pick up. Thank you” 2 “Thank you for the tasty cookies! Dinner all done and put bag on porch. Have a nice night! I know we will. 😊” 3 “😋👍 Heading out! Key on table. Thank you and have a great weekend!” While your interactions by texts were curt, the emoji’s are appreciated ❤️ Just a heads up, leaving a passive aggressive review after your stay, not calling us back to work it out, and slandering Tyler are most unwelcome interactions 💔

We had the privilege to stay at the Trinidad Bay Bed and Breakfast for three nights. It was an exceptional experience punctuated by the attentiveness of our host, Tyler, and his determination to strike the perfect balance between comfort and safety in the era of COVID. He was relentless in his pursuit of both. Our accommodations (the Redwoods room) had multiple, breathtaking views of the Bay. All of the variables, i.e. towels, linens, etc. were reflective of the expectations of seasoned travelers. Our room was impeccably cleaned and sanitized upon our arrival. Tyler was very respectful of and adherent to the health and safety protocols required to inspire confidence in a guest. His gourmet breakfasts were further evidence of his desire to provide a lovely experience. Trinidad became our base camp for two full days in the Redwoods parks. We had never been to the area. The breathtaking beauty of the forests will bring us back. We will make every effort to return to the Trinidad Bay Bed and Breakfast so that we can start and end our day with the seaside majesty of Trinidad Bay and the warmth and thoughtfulness of our host, Tyler. …

Wow ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Super fantastic review — send more great Guests from your state haha. We were so lucky (safely) hosting 100’s of great Guests this Summer. So many thoughtful overseas and out-of-area Guests rescheduled for next year, to help us make it through ridiculous State, County, and City Restrictions early on. Gratefully, it looks like we’ll make it another year, but it’s only thanks to our wonderful Guests like you two. Thanks again for braving the over-hyped fear of smoke and fires.
