My husband loves the expansive bathroom counters and the separate toilet and vanity areas, so we return often when we're driving between SF and LA. The king room was spacious. The walls are not the thickest. At 4 a.m. someone gave an ear-piercing whistle outside our room, which was followed by a couple of minutes of loud talking and laughing. When I told the front desk about it at check-out, they encouraged me to phone when it happens. There is someone at the desk 24 hours a day who can look into a noise complaint. Be aware that there are no elevators, so if you cannot carry bags up a flight of steps, specify a ground-floor room.

This was a nice little hotel. When I was visiting they had lots of holiday decorations up, including a stocking on each room door! The room I had was nice and comfortable, I really appreciated the attention to detail in furnishings, including having a mini fridge with freezer, a microwave, a desk and chair, a lounge chair to relax in, and even a rolling table you could pull in front of that if you wanted, like a tv tray. There were also individual reading lights over each side of the bed, which was comfortable. My only downside was I had reserved a room with a jacuzzi tub, and I am picky, but felt the tub wasn't really clean enough to want to take a bath in. The room was the same price as a room without that type of tub, so it wasn't a monetary loss, just a bit disappointing. Overall the room seemed nice and clean, just I didn't feel good about soaking in the tub.

I booked this place as it was the least expensive property in Paso Robles with a proper hot tub. Let me tell you, that hot tub was GREAT. Clean! Hot. Bubbly. Strong jets. Good company. Had a relaxing soak and chatted with some very nice people. The hours are good, too, open from 9:00AM till 10:00PM (I hate when the pool area closes too early). I was able to enjoy it the evening of my stay and then back again the following morning prior to checkout. Checkout is 11:00AM, allowing ample time to enjoy the hot tub with a cuppa, return to the room for a shower and change of clothes, then vacate the room. But speaking of the cuppa, there's a Keurig-like machine in the room, and another Keurig in the hotel lobby. I used the Keurig in the lobby. You may want to bring your own pods if you have a preference that way. The available pods weren't to my liking, but then again, I am an espresso drinker.

Now, about the room. The room was spacious and remodeled fairly recently. Decor was up to date. The bed was comfortable, with good, clean sheets. Television had Spectrum cable package. Loveseat, table and chairs, desk with a lamp. Bathroom was clean and simple (shower-tub combo, spacious terrazzo countertops, toilet). There was one sink in the enclosed part of the bathroom, and one sink outside with plenty of room in the vanity/dressing area. Clean minifridge, plenty of space in there for a few bottles of wine.

Lobby staff were friendly and helpful. Readily provided me with towels for the pool and recommended a nice spot for brunch.

All in all, I had a lovely stay and look forward to returning.

We recently returned from our first visit to Paso Robles. Several years ago, I researched this hotel when it looked like a trip to Napa was going to be canceled due to wildfires.

Our king size room was very large at almost 400 square feet and included a comfortable couch, recliner, refrigerator, microwave along with a Keurig for coffee or tea. This is one of the few hotels that still offers daily housekeeping and the rooms are spotless. Packaged muffins are available each morning and fresh cookies each afternoon at the front desk. The grounds are full of flowers and well maintained. They have a nice heated pool but we didn't have time to use it.

The only negative was noise. You have outside entrances and cars parked in front of the doors. There seemed to be numerous tradesmen who stayed during the week and their diesel trucks started as early as 3am.

The Adelaide Inn exceeded our expectations! Lovely property with a pool and hot tub well screened from parking area with trees & plants. Our room (second floor) was super clean and updated- very large and included an apartment sized freezer/fridge and a microwave, coffee maker, cups, glasses, bottle opener and cork screw, large TV. Bathroom was spacious with tub, shower (high quality products), toilet and sink closed off from a second area with additional sink, large counterspace, hair dryer, vanity mirror & stool, lotion, shower cap, make up wipes. Double the towels needed. Iron and board. Excellent location - just off the highway, short drive downtown, walking distance from family restaurants and grocery store. Continental breakfast included or walk to the diner for a full hot meal. Great value. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I were warmly welcomed in the hotel's lobby in the early afternoon. I had booked the hotel months ago, on what I thought was the hotel website but it mistakenly turned out to be a 3rd party and my reservation was not on file. Luckily they had a room for us and they very, very kindly helped us sort through the reservation, booking, and payment on this 3rd party website that they had never heard of before. They kindly gave us the same room rate as our booking and we rebooked and paid directly (hoping that I would get a refund from this online scam!....which I eventually did, after several phone calls). The woman at the desk was very knowledgeable and willing to go out of her way to help us. She then gave us a great recommendation to visit Eberle Vineyard for wine tasting - only 5 min away- we had booked an earlier slot but we were late arriving - luckily we took her recommendation to just show up - and it was great advice. Eberle was a great experience, a gorgeous location, and free!
The room at the inn where we stayed was immaculate and very comfortable. Everything was excellent and the inn is in a great central location in Paso Robles. There is a Starbucks and a breakfast diner close nearby but otherwise a car is critical. We drove to the downtown area to take a stroll before dinner and the town center lights were amazing - a brilliant display and worth the visit. Then we went to dinner at Tin City to Etta's Pasta - a good choice.
I HIGHLY recommend this inn - what is better than to be greeted with a cookie and gifted a muffin/ coffee in the morning? The staff was fabulous and amenities were modern and clean. (They offered the hot tub, but we did not take them up on this...) Book this for your Paso trip!

We had the best stay at the Adelaide Inn. The rooms were clean, modern, comfortable, and pleasant. The clerk was so friendly on check in. He had us scheduled to go into 2 rooms on the 2nd floor, but we requested ground floor rooms since we are older and would struggle to get our luggage up steps. He willingly accommodated our request. We were traveling during the low season, but were still amazed that the price of each room was under $100. I would definitely stay here again, and would encourage others to do the same.

This motel was great for several reasons. The beds, the bed linens, and the towels were excellent quality. For two women traveling together, we loved the fact that shower/toilet area was separate from a large vanity area—with sinks both places. The lighting was wonderful, and there was a magnifying mirror and and ottoman to pull up to the vanity counter while doing our makeup. Fridge, freezer and microwave were nice to have, too. The room was quiet and the staff was very helpful—once we persuaded them to give us a ground floor room so we didn’t have to haul our luggage up the stairs. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat!

Courteous staff at long-term single owner location gives excellent service and a solid choice on where to stay. Room clean and prices equitable. Convenient location close to restaurants, gas stations, etc, but not noisy at all and will stay again next trip to the area.

We have been staying at the Adelaide Inn for about 20 years, probably at least a dozen stays during that. time. We enjoy the location and we find the rooms are spacious enough and the bathroom area is more than adequate having two sinks and a lot of counter space which my wife enjoys. I also like the fact that we can park right outside our room. We have found the front desk staff to be courteous and helpful, as we had to move rooms this last time due to noisy neighbors with pickup trucks. If you go, ask for a room in the front or middle area, as most of the folks with the trucks are in the back (on purpose by management, I think.). The price for rooms is usually well below the big hotel chain offerings and the Adelaide offers everything we need, including a very useful refrigerator and freezer combo. It's not the Ritz Carlton by any means but it always has worked for us and friends that have stayed there with us on occasion.
