.....Unfortunately We would never stay here again, Especially at a 160 bucks a night.
We arrive at the Town House, and it's your standard one-story motel from the 1940s or so where you can park right in front of your room. It's directly on the main drag of town, but there's little traffic after dark, so it was acceptably quiet. $100/night got us a double bed, bathroom with shower stall, and a small fridge. The exterior doors of the room are hollow core interior doors, so if you struggle with feelings of security, don't stay here. The rooms clearly have not been renovated for at least 30 years, the bathrooms longer than that (pink tile from the 1950s.)
But the decor wasn't really the issue. It was the grubbiness and rattiness of the bed linens, towels, and carpeting. That shag carpeting was so old dirty and matted it felt like rubber under my feet. I wouldn't take my socks off, and after a short while they were black on the bottom. I suppose it was kind of comical to watch me hopping out of the shower directly into my high heels so I wouldn't have to touch my bare feet to that grubby carpet.
A room like that should never really be rented - and certainly not for any $100/night. But we were between a rock and a hard place, and were certainly taken advantage of. Bleh! Avoid this one at all costs if you can!
Now, it's a nice place...
Wifi is a little slowly...
Only 68 dollars for 2. All others are really expensive.
And they have a pool in this place.
All in all it was the absolute, hands-down worst motel stay of my life.
"Rooms in the back of the property are quieter, since they are adjacent to residential single family homes."Read full review
