Day 2 of the heatwave and we were having a difficult time staying cool so I went to the Motel to see if we could check in a little early, absolutely and Jen provided us 2 bottles of ice cold water and just made a large container of Ice tea......wow, what a Live Saver Jen is. This place is very clean and well taken care of.......Breakfast was perfect....we made this our #1 motel when spending time in Paso Robles.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. I stay there every-time I visit Paso and even though the staff has had turnover someone always makes me feel like family. Rooms are always clean, issues are handled quickly and professionally and the free breakfasts are very nice perk and the weekly wine tasting is the icing on the cake!

We have always preferred Hampton inn for the comfort and price however this Hampton is top notch!! Not only it has all the comfort and priced so well, it is beautiful, new, good sized rooms and easy access to wine country and freeway. Room was well stocked with coffee, condiments and bathroom had ample towels and toiletries. I appreciated the roll of paper towels and extra space where the fridge and microwave is. I was happy to see the fridge size bigger than most Hampton inns.
Morning breakfast due to covid is in a to go bag. They had a breakfast box with bagel, boiled eggs and yoghurt. They also had scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit and coffee/orange juice.
Parking is complimentary. Staff is super friendly. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy Paso Robles wine country.

Booked the Hampton Inn for a wine tasting weekend following an Easter visit to LA.
As a Lifetime Diamond Honors member I always select Hilton properties first and have previously enjoy this Hampton Inn. We arrived from LA about 11 am and checked to see if we could get an early check in. Our room was not available but we were told that it would be ready by 1 pm. Arrived back at the hotel at 5:30 to find that the room was still not available and would be 45 minutes until we could get into the room. No real apology offered, just told that they were short stafffed. We had a note in the room that the room would be serviced only upon request so we skipped serviice the next day, As we were out of toilet paper and towels and the room was in need of cleaning we requested service on day 3 as we left the hotel in the morning. Returned at 5:30 to a dirty room and was advised that the maids had left for the day and handed us a roll of toilet paper and 2 towels. I understand that the hotel was totally full with spring break travelers, but still expected better service from this property. Next trip, I may try out other options as it appears that this hotel is having trouble managing their business!!

This was the perfect stopover between Las Vegas and a drive to Monterey on Highway 1. We had a quiet room and a wonderful breakfast. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. As for cleanliness, the room and the breakfast area/lobby were spotless and I really appreciated the hand sanitizer and gloves available at the breakfast buffet. They also have trays available for those who want to take their breakfast to their room.

I don't think I have ever stayed at a Hampton Inn but was pleasantly surprised. Seemed nice and modern, big comfortable room, decent breakfast and a compact but functional gym.
We were a bit concerned about being so close to highway 46 but traffic died down and was not an issue overnight but if you want sleep in it could be a problem.
Felt a bit bit bad as there is only front desk staff working in evening so anytime we wanted something they had to up with it, maybe they should keep 1 person from housekeeping working until maybe 10pm.
2 simple recommended improvements to room, being wine country many folks will bring back a bottle or 2 and like to sample in evening but there were only paper cups, not good. Secondly there are no safes in rooms, they have safe deposit boxes being from desk but not convenient.
And 1 final negative, the elevator is painfully slow.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your first stay with us in Paso robles and we thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We apologize that we do not have guest safes or wine glasses in the room at this time. However, we do have wine glasses available at the front desk for our guests to use. In addition, we do have a house person on staff until 10:00pm five nights a week to assist our guests and the front desk staff. We are scheduled for a remodel in a year and a half, and I want you to know we will be using your feedback to improve our guest experience while we make enhancements to our property. We thank you for choosing to stay with us and hope to welcome you back again soon, happy travels! Jen Kerr Guest Relations Manager

The only reason I went with a four instead of a five for this writing is because I am in a wheelchair. The room was accessible however you could not have the door to the bathroom and the room open at the same time, so if I was in the bathroom my husband could not come into the room until I closed the bathroom. Also there is not a single USB plug in the entire room. I found this a little odd since everything requires USB charging these days.

The positive - this is a good location for exploring Paso Robles (by car), and was quiet although near the highway. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the room (King Suite) was spacious, including a small fridge, wet bar, microwave and large sitting area.
However, the décor is tired, and in particular the carpet could use replacement; it was frayed and not the cleanest (the room was clean, but there’s only so much can be done with old carpet…). Breakfast was not available due to “unfortunate circumstances” – understandable in these times – but the grab&go bag replacements were, honestly, awful (apple & plain bagel). This property is acceptable for a short stay if rates aren’t high, but I’d go elsewhere otherwise.

Great location right off HWY 101 where local sites, breweries, bakeries, wineries and restaurants could be easily accessible from.
Very helpful and efficient staff and very clean rooms. Availability of fresh coffee and hot water for tea was wonderful to have during the cold weather!

+1
PROS:
Mobile check in and check out
Large rooms
Quiet rooms
Nearby mall
Free parking
Free breakfast with variety (omelette, bagels, cereal, waffle)
In room amenities (bathroom, microwave, coffee, mini fridge)
I love that they have a night light in the bathroom and the door has a proper safety, not the flimsy chains
Great restaurant at the hotel opposite
CONS:
Limited tv channels
Sadly the only big con to me is the BED, argh!!
The pillows and mattress too soft and not supportive at all. I felt like I was sinking into a giant marshmallow and had to keep sleeping at an odd angle to try to be comfortable.
If only they’d invest some money to change the beds which are obviously pretty old, it would have been a fantastic stay.

Unfortunately, walking is too far on any road here (highway, side street) as they seem to be extremely busy. The country road that leads to many winneries is also the road to the beach, the other direction is downtown.
I apologize for the late response! We're not a pet friendly hotel. We appreciate you checking :)
I am sorry for the inconvenience but our hotel is not pet friendly. We do of course accept registered service animals.
We enjoyed this property, although I do not believe it is a "suite" like an Embassy Suites or Homewood Suites (which have small kitchens). I think their idea of a suite is a larger room with a sofa bed, but a call to the property would confirm that.
We are also Honors members, and found this hotel to be clean and well located near some other hotel properties. They provided a nice wine and cheese tasting in the evening and had a typical but serviceable breakfast. We stayed one night in the area on our way to Napa. The town of Paso Robles is charming and the wines are good:)
