We visited Paso Robles for a couple of days of wine testing. This hotel is nice, comfortable, and conveniently located. The free breakfast has a nice variety and was very well maintained by staff. The pool and spa are nice as well.
Six friends stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites during our time at the coast. We visited Bruce Munro’s Sensorio show, and the hotel was well located for easy access. The hotel staff were very friendly, the breakfast options generous, and we really enjoyed the pool in the evening after a day of hiking on the coast.
This was the perfect stopover between Las Vegas and a drive to Monterey on Highway 1. We had a quiet room and a wonderful breakfast. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. As for cleanliness, the room and the breakfast area/lobby were spotless and I really appreciated the hand sanitizer and gloves available at the breakfast buffet. They also have trays available for those who want to take their breakfast to their room.
My husband and I have stayed in many Hampton Inns before and we really didn’t know what to expect with this Hampton Inn. We were attending the graduation of our grandson at Cal Poly SLO. When we arrived to the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. I’m giving a 5 star rating for the following reasons and more. 1.- Location, location, location. The hotel is very close to the 101 freeway, Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo and many of the wineries in the area. 2.- The hotel overall is well appointed. It seems as a small thing but the trolleys to carry our luggage is the best we’ve had. It has several hooks and it’s easy to use. 3.- Our room was a double queen suite. The location of it is in the backside of the hotel facing the hills. The suite was excellent, very clean, nice furniture, with a wet bar/microwave oven and a coffee maker. The room was so quiet, we could not even hear the a/c when it was running. One of the best rooms we’ve ever had at a Hampton Inn. 4.- The service. My first contact was with Nicole, the sales manager, who helped me with choosing the room. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and very gracious. At checking I met Rick who was also very professional and informative. At checkout I met Connie and same as her colleagues, she was kind and professional. I have already recommended this hotel to family and friends and for sure my husband and I will return soon and hopefully make it our “routine” stop whenever we are in the area. Thank you for a great and happy experience.…
This hotel doesn’t just smell clean, it is very clean! You won’t find grit in the corners. The bathroom and bedroom were clean everywhere. Many thanks to Maria who was in charge of our room section. There was no residual dust. We were greeted in a friendly manner upon check in and check out. The cookies and ice tea were a nice touch upon arrival and the breakfast has enough variety for most people. We would definitely stay at this Hampton Inn again.
Great place to stay on either a roadtrip or a visit to Paso Robles wineries. Close to Sensorio. Clean, neat, with a friendly staff. Beds are nice and rooms are efficient and spacious. Very tasty breakfast bar with a waffle maker and very nice coffee (one can choose light, dark, or decaf blends.). Lovely common spaces make you feel at home in wine country!
Our wedding guests enjoyed their stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable, they have free breakfast, plenty of parking, and the front desk workers are so kind and helpful. Everything was perfectly splendid.
This is the first review I have ever written. The worst experience. Rude front desk. GM is not helpful. They have a policy that denies local residents access to the hotel. Denied us service because we live in the area. Just trying to get away w my wife for the night on our anniversary. Don't know who would put her in charge but GM is a terrible decision maker. Do not stay here. The action seemed more racially motivated than anything. I’m sure that if the color of my skin was different I wouldn’t have been told I can’t stay. I looked around the hotel lobby and Everyone in there was white. Makes a lot of sense why the one brown guy in the building is denied access. I thought Jim Crow laws were done. I guess not In Paso Robles.
The Hampton Inn, located in Paso Robles, is an excellent centralized Hotel, in Paso Robles. Located next to Highway 46, it exceeded expectations...The staff was helpful, and friendly...Small touches like cookies and juice, as you enter the lobby, welcome the visitors when they enter the hotel. Staff was very helpful & friendly.
Reputably this is wine country. In thirty years of visiting wine regions this must be the only hotel I have visited that has not a single wine glass available. If you wish to drink wine, then a plastic glass is it. Very environmentally friendly. Second, there was no remote control in the room. So, that is not a big deal. However, what is a big deal is that the remote that is eventually provided does not allow access to the Samsung tv's functionality - i.e. to change the input to HDMI (some people want to connect a laptop - I know, it is outrageous). Believe it or not I had to go back down to reception - where I was advised there is only ONE Samsung remote control in the entire hotel - and the staff have to come to the room to change the input!! I find this incredible. I offered to pay a deposit, but no, that is VERBOTEN. The culture of this hotel is centred on out of date service standards. There is much better out there.…
