One of the closer hotels to LAX, we used some Hilton points to stay here as we had an early flight home the next morning. The location was very convenient and we were even able to drop off our rental car and walk to the hotel. The rooms are average sized and somewhat updated, but still middling compared with other Hiltons we stayed at. We were very fortunate to be able to eat breakfast at the executive lounge on the 16th floor, which was well stocked, but some of the warm items had already gone cold. The shuttle is regular, but very busy. We were lucky as some folks behind us could not get on as the shuttle was full. Leave yourself plenty of time to get to the airport if it's a busy time like the holidays! A few other guests just called Ubers / Lyfts to pick them up instead. We'd consider a return if the need arises again.

This location is so easy to get to from LAX. Our room had a fantastic view of two runways. Location has a great executive lounge with breakfast and dinner snacks plus drinks served daily. Staff is very friendly. You can valet or park yourself in their very convenient garage. Restaurant is open late so you can get room service. Internet has a fee unless you are in their honors program. It is nice and speedy. Beds had feather pillows and rooms were impeccably cleaned. Coffee makers are located in the rooms. Elevators are the new greener variety which was great to see.

We had an international flight to catch on the 3rd January, but had to take a domestic flight first from Seattle so left a day early to ensure we would not miss our international flight. The Hilton provides a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel which was easy to find and the driver was friendly and loaded our bags on board. Then it was a short 5 -10 min drive to the hotel. This shuttle rotates every 15 mins. The Hotel overall was well presented and the lobby was attractive. On arrival there was no one to help us with our bags and we struggled ourselves to reach check in. Check in was great, very friendly and helpful lady behind the desk who gave us all the info we needed for our stay. The phone listing in the rooms was a little hard to understand and we had difficulty finding who to contact with the questions we needed to ask so gave up on that. We had dinner in one of the Bar/Restaurants in the hotel. Service from the wait staff was excellent and they were very helpful and friendly. The food though was only average and bland. Breakfast the next morning was not pleasant, scrambled eggs were bland and distasteful, the mini sausage was overcooked and hard. This was the executive room and not that impressed with the service or food. Room was clean and tidy with good facilities, fantastic views from 16th floor. Complimentary water and coffee. Check out was good with no issues there.

Room was dated and need of repairs and remodeling. Bathroom ceiling was warped and had water stains. Shower was difficult to turn on. For the price of the rooms I would expect it to be much nicer and updated. The small things add up in hotel rooms and you expect modern conveniences: phone charger/plugs in or at least near a nightstand, minibar, a shower without mildew. The only nice thing about this hotel is the proximity to LAX. Uber and hotel shuttle drops off in an alley and not the hotel lobby. Just not worth the price for the room and I’m not cheap...

Do not stay at this hotel.

Constant smoking of cannabis throughout the hotel with zero action from staff. I heard several guest complain about this during my recent trip.

Many guest becoming sick due to cannabis smoke filtering through the ventilation into rooms. Myself included.

No issues with smoking but go outside & hotel management take action not issue pointless fines, which don’t actually seem to be issued.

Exec lounge shocking
Staff look depressed
Hotel in need for a total refurb it’s like stepping back into the 80’s.
Forget trying to do business WiFi is useless

I’m a Hilton member & this is by far the worst Hilton if not hotel I have ever stayed at.

I can honestly not say anything positive about this hotel unless you like cannabis then you will love the place.

What has happened to Hilton’s service & customer satisfaction.

This is one Hilton I will never stay at again.

Yes, this hotel, in previous reviews, is very much dated. But it has been refreshed. The third party company that runs their airport shuttle is efficient. Since passengers ignore social distancing, the drivers won't overload the bus picking up or dropping off passengers at the airport. It was very easy to catch the shuttle from LAX, and the signs were posted everywhere at the top level of the airport. Registration lines were long; however, if you downloaded the Hilton App, you can get your key digitally by pre-registration the day before your arrival. Diamond members can pick up a $15 voucher from the front desk to use for the F&B options at the hotel. The restaurant however has a modified menu and hours. Internet in the room worked very well. Although there is no refrigerator in the room, just call the front desk if there is one available. Unfortunately, there was not one available for me during my stay, which was fine. The room on the 17th floor had a nice view of the runway. Jet blasts will rock the room every once in awhile. But there is sufficient noise insolation. There is housekeeping services ONLY by request. The room was clean and had no problems using the HVAC unit or television. Bed was comfortable. Front desk was professional and efficient. The hotel was very busy during my weekend stay. I will return and stay at this hotel.

I do not enjoy writing a less than favorable review but this hotel should be noted as a disappointment. Although very convenient to LAX, there is next to nothing to do outside of the hotel, but thats not my main gripe. Manhatten Beach/Hermosa Beach is only $15.00 Uber ride away, a great place to stroll and watch the sunset
During my 3 night stay I was woken by a gurgling water sound from my bathroom, looked like sewage backwashing into the bathroom sink leaving traces of nasty stuff once the water drained away. I cleaned this out with towels and when I informed the front desk the reaction was that they would switch me to another room without any reaction to the severity and potential health hazard of this. Secondly, the internet is awful no matter what time of day/night you try to get on. I used my iPhone's Hotspot during my entire stay. Crazy to be at a Hilton with not Internet available. I called the front desk numerous times, with the same story that they were sorry and that they are trying to upgrade the system.
ALWAYS a long line at the front desk, and if you want to use the gym you have to renew your gym key every day, that is if you are ok with standing in a long line EVERY DAY to update your key. Lobby littered with security personell at night, as if they are anticipating something bad to happen. This 4 star hotel is subpar at best and I will never again visit this site. During my 3 days stay no chambermaids ever entered the room to replenish the in-room coffee, shampoo or soap, or did a fresh up of the room from trash removal and making the bed. . Maybe these days are over due to Covid.
Forgot to mention the musty small in the room, as of someone had smoked in the room. On a positive note, the bar and restaurant were nice, and it has a convenient airport shuttle with effective and friendly drivers-- and the hotel has cool elevators.

I recently had a trip to LA involving business and pleasure and my husband booked all of my hotels for me. The Hilton at LAX is gorgeous clean elegant beautifully lit full of marble and fine finishes has multiple restaurants on the lobby floor and friendly people to attend to your every need.
I had a king room on the 8th floor that was gorgeous, luxurious,simple but elegantly classic design and decor. Very comfortable bed with very soft linens and comfortable pillows, wonderful in-room coffee with real cream ,beautiful & luxurious botanical bath products and everything I could have wanted for my last night's stay at in Los Angeles plus it was a hop skip & a jump to take the airport shuttle to the terminal, what's not to love!!!!

Note to self-- check the hot water in the shower as soon as you arrive in your room. Our shower was broken, with no hot water, so we ended up washing our hair in the sink before our flights home. The room was average and fairly dated, but the bed was comfortable. When we complained, we were offered one free breakfast (not that big of a deal, as the cost was over $30 per person). I will rethink our next visit here.

The lobby at this hotel looks grand and impressive. They hold seminars and conferences there so it is very busy and noisy.

Our room was spacious and had everything we needed but it faced the end of the airport runway and was so noisy. Also as the sun came up it heated the windows to the extent there were cracking noises and you were unable to touch the glass for fear of being burned. I would have thought an airport hotel could do better than this for insulation as we have stayed at many and never had a problem like this before.

The airport shuttle was crowded on pick-up from the airport but much better when we caught our flight. Shuttle driver was helpful.

Food here is expensive as it is in other airport hotels we have stayed at. Not sure if we would return.

They may hold $50 a day for each day. So maybe $50 x14 - $700 but it couldn’t hurt to ask

No. It’s 44 dollars a night for self parking. Not sure how much valet is. The parking is directly underneath hotel and you take an elevator up right to the hotel lobby. Very convenient. I expect this price in Los Angeles though so I am Fine with it
