The USC Hotel was surprisingly big on really nice amenities considering the price is quite decent for the LA area.

The bathrobes were incredibly soft; probably the best bathrobes I've ever worn. Shampoo and shower gel were in bulk dispensers in the shower, which I prefer over the those environment-killing tiny bottles. The room came with free bottles of water and free coffee and tea.

It was a really large room for the price. The bed was super comfortable and there was a range of pillows with different softness. There aren't any USB outlets, but there are power outlets on either side of the bed on the nightstand, though only a skinny USB adapter plug will fit.

There was a little sign of wear-and-tear, especially in the bathroom, but considering the hotel is on a college campus, I'd say it's doing pretty good.

The light rail is super close by; it was easy to get to the hotel by train from the airport, and also from the hotel to the activities had planned.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms are large and clean.

If you take parking from the hotel you will be charged $25 / night.
However you can buy a day permit directly from the garage with $14 / day. The only thing is that daily permits from the garage are only valid until 6AM next morning. They can sell you permits for 3 days maximum at a time.

If you stay more than 3 days you can go across the street , at the Transportation Office of the University and buy for as many days you want.

They can also sell you a monthly permit for $111. Just don´t tell them you stay at the hotel because they might ask you to buy the $25 permit instead.

Just to make clear : it is the SAME parking , since the hotel is owned by USC. The only thing is that the $25 will get you access to the second floor of the parking, while the $14 will get you access from the 3rd floor up. Since there is an elevator, no issues whatsoever.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback. We are pleased to hear that our large and clean rooms set the tone for a great stay! In regards to the parking information, the $ 14-day permit is only valid until 11:59 pm on the date of purchase. Any vehicles parked after that time and throughout the night would require an overnight guest parking pass. Our parking structure also offers hourly parking, for $2 per hour (maximum 2 hours). Should you have any questions or need assistance, our team remains available to you at any time. Warmest regards, Guest Experience Specialist USC Hotel 213-748-4141

Booked a room overlooking campus.

We have no negative comments other than that the room could use new windows.

Service at check in and check out was good, the room was clean and quiet, the lobby was very nice.

Breakfast at the restaurant next door was typically expensive but it was very good.

Yes, it cost $25 a night to park, which is a great value. And they let us stay parked until 4:00pm when we left campus at no additional cost.

This establishment is more expensive than I would like, but it's immediately across the street from USC, which makes it an ideal base camp when visiting and the convenience more than makes up for the cost.

Overall a very good experience and I just booked again for our next trip next month,

My daughter and I stayed at USC for one night (as we had a USC college tour the next day). The hotel is a great location if you are visiting USC as you can leave your car parked in the nearby parking garage and just walk into USC from the hotel. But the hotel was super outdated, smelled, had a very small appetizer menu at the hotel's restaurant "McKay's" (which by the way, the food was terrible, but service was good). The other nearby restaurant "The Lab Gastropub" was closed that night. If you are going to visit USC, I would go to other nearby hotels as there are parking structures surrounding USC where you can park.

No other hotel offers the convenience to the USC Campus, and once we parked, we were able to leave the car in the expensive but convenient attached garage and walk all over campus. Although we had a nice view of the campus facing west, room was average. Wear and tear was visible, especially in the bathroom, and the double beds are just too small for 2 tall adults to share. Water pressure to the 9th floor was not great, and shower would fade to a trickle. Bathtub was set a lot higher than the floor and even though there was a “Watch Your Step” sign on the tub, it was awkward stepping out. I forgot to watch my step one day and almost did a header into the counter. Lobby was nice and the common areas were fixed up and well done, but the room is a 3 star at best. I would stay here again based on the proximity alone, since the downtown LA hotels are not nearly as convenient. Ate breakfast (not complimentary) at McKay’s and although service was a little slow, it was friendly, and the recommendation to add bananas and walnuts to the Belgian waffle was outstanding!

very friendly and helpful front desk staff.
when I reported a problem with the damp carpet. They immediately sent an engineer to check it and then moved me to another room. The room is very well designed with plenty of outlets and USB plugs very conveniently located for use.

Everything was clean, nice bed, good sheets, electrical outlets on both sides of the bed, complimentary bottled water. The elevators were a pain because you have to use your key to access your floor and if you don't scan your card in time, someone else may call the elevator to their floor with you on it. I took a few detours during my stay. Internet was perfect. The dining was not good. The restaurant McKay's, only had appetizers. There were $40.00 a night in extra fees and taxes, not including parking. I think there was an occupancy fee. These fees were not included in the reservation paid by my employer, so I had to pay $130.00 for two nights for taxes and parking.

We stayed here for the accepted students weekend. The event was literally steps away from the hotel. Accommodations were nice and the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. The only negative was that they did not accept the discount code that the university gave parents to defray the cost of the room.

Location - located on Figueroa Street across the street from the USC campus. Proximity to USC is the biggest winner for this Radisson.
Accommodations - The lobby was basic, one story with a small front desk and small pool antey. The gym was basic with 2 treadmills and 2 ellipticals and weights up to 35 OK lbs.. The rooms are decent size and well maintained with nice decor. The bathrooms can stand to be updated though.
Service - The front desk folks are OK but the hotel policies really bring it down overall. We stayed at the hotel during move in week and weekend (5 days 4 nights) but were not given a water bottle like everyone else, that was weird. We received some Amazon boxes while there and were charged $5/box after the 3rd box but were not told in advance from the hotel that they would charge us, so they basically held the packages I ordered for my daughter's move in hostage.

We stayed there for two nights and enjoyed our time very much. This is the ideal location for any visitor of the USC campus. Reception area is roomy, staff very fast and efficient, not to mention their friendliness. Elevators worked very well. Our room was just nice, no complaints at all. Bathroom wonderful. Our room faced the interstate, so there was a constant humm, of course, but at night, with the curtain closed, it was not bad at all. The only thing I missed was a microwave. We got several orders from room service and were very impressed about the quality of the food (breakfast and dinner). Twice we were picked up by a bus for our whole group, and the ramp for the bus was much too narrow; very hard for the poor driver. Wifi included and always worked well. The hotel has a business center with two terminals and one printer - thank you.

Yes, many people even walked from the hotel further down the street. Best to stay on the main road and with a group if possible. There was no time I felt unsafe during my time there.

The Radisson Midtown is a along way from the beach. Hotel parking is $25/day. And other parking near there is equally desperate because of the University.
