I was visiting a child that goes to Loyola Marymount and had a great stay at Hyatt House. I had a King Suite room. It was clean, and comfortable. I did not hear any neighbors however can hear the planes taking off and landing at LAX. This didn't bother me as it was also kind of cool to watch out the window. But if you are a light light sleeper, you may want to request a room not facing the airport. The daily breakfast offered a good variety and an easy quick bite first thing in the morning so you don't have to go search for outside restaurants. The room had ample space, with sofa bed for a guest if you had one. The on site laundry room was great - but only 2 washers and 2 dryers available so could be a wait if it was a busy time. I parked in the garage in the back. The rates are higher if you pay to the hotel (get a parking pass from the front desk), however this option offers you in and out privileges. If you pay the garage directly (draw a tickets when you come in) it is about $10 cheaper a day, however no in and out priviledges - which is ok if you plan to just be out for the day. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for six nights and rented two rooms as a family of seven. Both rooms were excellent and configured slightly differently but each had its own kitchen and slept everybody comfortably.

The hotel is modern and the rooms were clean and spacious. The AC was welcomed and quiet and even though we could hear the planes the air traffic stopped between midnight and 6 AM. The airport shuttle was easy to use and ran every 10 to 15 minutes. Super convenient when we arrived and departed.

We used the rooftop pool and hot tub almost every evening and having the breakfast available in the morning was very handy, (albeit it was the same offerings every day). Location was also great and central to everything the area has to offer.

A few things to consider when you stay here is that there are additional charges added to the bill which we did not expect. There are two separate tourism fees as well as two different types of tax as well as parking which was $45. These are charged daily.

Other hotels probably have similar fees, we were just not aware as we usually rent through VRBO or Airbnb. There are no options to park elsewhere so if you plan on renting a car, which is essential in Los Angeles, be prepared to spend a lot on parking.

Overall if you plan on staying in a hotel near LAX I would say it’s a great option. Just be prepared of what to expect.

The breakfast service was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The check in and check out were pleasant. The bartenders at Shores were very accommodating, we ordered food almost at closing and they even brought it out to us by the pool.

I had a 4 night stay and I was suppose to receive makeup on Sunday (mothers day) since service is only provided on the 3rd night . After a long day at the beach with my daughter we came back to a dirty room. I had left all the used towels on the floor so we had to wait almost 2 hours to get those delivered in our wet beach clothes. It was disappointing since for mothers day the last thing I want to do is clean while on vacation. I went to speak to Jessica who was less than caring about the situation, she did nothing to make the situation better or to even make up for the fact. She said because I had DND on door at 8am when housekeeping do their room count I didn't get service, basically saying its my fault. After 3 nights and being told I would get service that was not a good experience. Jessica also told me the housekeeping manager would be calling me the next morning but that never happened. It is very disappointing no one bothered calling me.

There was two of us in the room and only one set of towels. We called to get additional set and was asked to come to the front desk to pick the up. As I was already for bed I asked to have them brought to the room and when the person arrived they had 1 wash cloth and one dust rage so this was not what we expected at all when asking for an additional set of towels. The bath sink faucet was very lose and could not regulate the water as it was part one piece faucet fixture. Was afraid it could break off at any moment so we used it sparingly. The hand held phone did not work and had to use the speakerphone to make calls. Had to pay $7 to park long enough to unload my car since you do not have a loading and unloading area for your guests. This is not published anywhere on your website.Overall a very unpleasant experience and would not recommend this hotel to any potential guest

I come to LA a lot since I produce movies, and this trip was for business. This is a beautiful brand new hotel that opened in November, and WOW, I was impressed. The rooms were very clean, with a kitchen and everything was sparkling!! The hotel's rooftop restaurant, bar, and pool felt like a mini pool party with beautiful people and great food!! The gym is definitely one of the biggest hotel gyms I have ever worked out at. The restaurant in the lobby serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the food was Fresh. I ended up eating there a lot!!! the hotel staff wore gloves, were extremely helpful and attentive. I met the GM, he is a very funny guy, extremely friendly, and he told me about some great destinations to eat at nearby as well. One thing that was a bit confusing about this hotel is the hotel's arrival is through the parking garage!! The hotel does not have the main entrance yet, and they are working on building that I guess. The hotel is less than .5 miles from LAX!!! The shuttle picks up 24/7 so you don't need to rent a car or Uber/Lyft. The shuttle pickup is on the departure level at LAX and I got picked up at midnight without any issues at all. I love this hotel...you must check it out if you are in LA!

I’m very picky when it comes to hotel rooms, and always find something I’m not happy with. This wasn’t the case with Hyatt House LAX- everything far exceeded by expectations. My king bed room was modern, elegant, sparkling clean, and had beautiful high ceilings. I especially love the noon checkout time and the complimentary breakfast! The airport being close by is not even a nuisance in anyway. Not noisy at all. Will definitely stay here again.

This Hyatt House was very chic with a pool table near the bar, room and bed was comfortable, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Wasn’t there long enough to check out other amenities. A couple blocks from the airport. Paying for parking was the only downside. Tip: hotel charges $45 for parking, but the parking garage has its own fees that you can pay instead ($3.75 per 30 minutes, or $26 for overnight. I paid the overnight fee since I didn’t need to leave until the next day).

We decided to have a quick family trip to LA because we were able to get BTS concert tickets. I made a reservation with my hotel points and requested an early check in. But when we arrived at the hotel the lady at the front desk told me that they were still cleaning rooms. We were told the room will be ready in 40 minutes so we decided to eat a light lunch at the cafe in the hotel. When we came back to the desk after 40 minutes or so she gave us room keys. As we went up to the room to change and rest a little bit before going out we realized that it wasn’t the same type of room I booked for. I had to go downstairs to find out what happened and she said the room I was supposed to get wasn’t going be available for a while because they are still cleaning. We needed the other type of room which has a kitchen and a sofa bed because I was with my two adult children. So we had to bring all the luggage to downstairs and wait for another hour to get the right type of room. We were already pretty tired from the flight but this whole problems with checking in was more exhausting.

I recently stayed at the new Hyatt House on Century Boulevard for a week long holiday in LA. I absolutely enjoyed the hotel and everything it had to offer. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. Everyone I came into contact with in person or over the phone were fantastic. One day I asked for help with directions to West Hollywood and they printed out directions and gave me a list of ways to get around town. Very helpful.
The hotel had a very well equipped gym with strength training equipment, life fitness hammer strength which was a bonus. The rooftop pool was well maintained and beautiful with views of the runways of LAX and mountains in the distance.
The daily breakfast was standard, nothing too special but it was definitely enjoyable. And the lobby bar and cafe had a beautiful atmosphere, I really enjoyed having breakfast there each day.
Free fast wifi and a Chromecast in my room was a really nice touch. I also had a mini fridge and microwave which was very handy throughout my stay.
I could not fault anything at this hotel, I would probably recommend this hotel for a stay if you were in transit, reason being LAX isn't very close to many of the attractions of LA. It was easy enough to get around with Uber however the bills quickly added up and public transport isn't too great.
I would happily stay at Hyatt House again, I hope to be back next time I visit LA.

I had an issue with my room due to loud noise from the room above. Although they could not move me that evening, they did move me to a room the next morning. I was very pleased with this accommodation as it made my stay enjoyable knowing I would have some peace and quiet. I would like to thank Chariza at front desk who made this possible for me. I had stayed at this hotel back in May and decided to return seeing as I had a great experience the first time. This hotel has free airport shuttle service, complimentary buffet breakfast and close to the stadium (attended concert at Kia Forum) so the convenience of the location worked perfectly for me. I had a kitchenette in my room which served to be useful in reheating food and storing leftovers in the refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable and room has modern updates. Would definitely return in the future as it checks all my boxes.
