Hyatt House LAX / Century Blvd garners praise for its stylish atmosphere and modern rooms that offer space, comfort, and cleanliness, which guests frequently commend. The hotel's location near LAX is appreciated for its convenience, though some visitors suggest improvements in amenities and updates.
While the staff often receives accolades for their efficiency and friendliness, there are reports of service inconsistency. Despite the well-equipped rooms with kitchenettes, the value proposition is questioned by guests who are displeased with high parking fees and additional costs.

Detailed Reviews
The hotel looks trendy from first glance. Once you start to look at the details you see a hotel that is in desperate need of updated towels in the rooms and new bowls, plates and mugs in the dining area/ restaurant. The check in process was very slow (they need more staff). If you need a late checkout they charge $75. Plus parking onsite is $48 per night!!! This was a work trip so my job covers the cost and I still felt like the fees were embarrassingly high for this hotel. Beds were not comfortable at all. However, I will say that the housekeeping staff was amazing.

My recent stay at Hyatt House LAX was truly enjoyable and exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness of the hotel was immediately noticeable upon arrival, and every corner of the property was well-maintained. My room was spotless, spacious, and offered stunning views of the city and airport, which added a touch of luxury to the experience.
The staff stood out for their exceptional friendliness and professionalism. From check-in to check-out, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and seamless. Whether it was answering questions, offering local recommendations, or simply greeting guests with a smile, their hospitality was top-notch.
As someone who values fitness, I was especially impressed with the gym. It was well-equipped with a variety of machines and free weights, catering to all workout routines. The space was also clean and well-ventilated, making it an inviting environment for a good workout.
Overall, Hyatt House LAX combines convenience, comfort, and exceptional service. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and look forward to returning in the future.

I was visiting a child that goes to Loyola Marymount and had a great stay at Hyatt House. I had a King Suite room. It was clean, and comfortable. I did not hear any neighbors however can hear the planes taking off and landing at LAX. This didn't bother me as it was also kind of cool to watch out the window. But if you are a light light sleeper, you may want to request a room not facing the airport. The daily breakfast offered a good variety and an easy quick bite first thing in the morning so you don't have to go search for outside restaurants. The room had ample space, with sofa bed for a guest if you had one. The on site laundry room was great - but only 2 washers and 2 dryers available so could be a wait if it was a busy time. I parked in the garage in the back. The rates are higher if you pay to the hotel (get a parking pass from the front desk), however this option offers you in and out privileges. If you pay the garage directly (draw a tickets when you come in) it is about $10 cheaper a day, however no in and out priviledges - which is ok if you plan to just be out for the day. I would definitely stay here again.

I want to start by saying I have stayed at this location a few times, unfortunately this visit that was business for me, pleasure for the family was turned sour right from the start sadly. The shuttle driver seems to be angry, after having to wait 30 minutes not sure what he was angry about, though my last stay, same issue as shuttle driver seemed irritated and was long wait. I booked a Studio Suite, Multiple Beds (2 Queen, 1 Sofa Bed) room through Expedia, which stated "City View", the room was an INTERIOR W/ NO WINDOWS, felt like a large storeroom or closet! When asked, was advised we could upgrade for more $$$ and that was an Expedia Error. Bathroom faucet was not mounted correctly and literally so loose difficult to operate, and bathtub drain plug did not work (so a bath was out) , bathroom wallpaper was pealing making it look overly used and dilapidated. The room which had 2 beds and sofa bed for family of 4, had 3 towels, and utensils for 3, when asked for more, never received or resolved. They did come in while we were gone and tighten the faucet a bit so it was usable. I provided feedback and management responded saying the faucet was a construction defect they were aware of, and that most issues were Expedia's fault , (listing incorrect, and that they did not send over correct occupancy, even though front desk stated it clearly upon check-in) never addressed lack of service to help resolve anything, just seemed to be everyone else's issue. Also, on 2 different occasions I was advised to give front desk my World of Hyatt number, just to find that NO POINTS were earned for the stay. It is difficult for me to recommend this location to my clients in the future, nor stay here again as the value proposition for the money spent just does not make sense. Hopefully at some point these many issues are corrected, as it is a good location, but based on feedback response and lack of service I can't recommend.

Passing through Los Angeles for a night while waiting for a connecting flight, we stayed at this hotel. Recommended for the kindness of the staff (they fulfilled all our requests), cleanliness of the rooms and common areas. Spacious and comfortable rooms, breakfast is included for all guests, they also offer a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Be careful to take the right shuttle as there are three Hyatts near the airport! On the top floor there is also a swimming pool with a solarium where you can spend a few hours in peace since there aren't usually many people.

I had an issue with my room due to loud noise from the room above. Although they could not move me that evening, they did move me to a room the next morning. I was very pleased with this accommodation as it made my stay enjoyable knowing I would have some peace and quiet. I would like to thank Chariza at front desk who made this possible for me. I had stayed at this hotel back in May and decided to return seeing as I had a great experience the first time. This hotel has free airport shuttle service, complimentary buffet breakfast and close to the stadium (attended concert at Kia Forum) so the convenience of the location worked perfectly for me. I had a kitchenette in my room which served to be useful in reheating food and storing leftovers in the refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable and room has modern updates. Would definitely return in the future as it checks all my boxes.

Large room, great location near AX but sound proofing makes you rarely hear planes takeoff and land. We always try to get the large room with separate Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom, and Living with two large screen TV's in both the bedroom and the Livingroom. Also there is a neat feature that allows you to stream your favorite apps to the room TV's without you having to login to your apps on the TV. No need to worry about logging out after your stay.

There was two of us in the room and only one set of towels. We called to get additional set and was asked to come to the front desk to pick the up. As I was already for bed I asked to have them brought to the room and when the person arrived they had 1 wash cloth and one dust rage so this was not what we expected at all when asking for an additional set of towels. The bath sink faucet was very lose and could not regulate the water as it was part one piece faucet fixture. Was afraid it could break off at any moment so we used it sparingly. The hand held phone did not work and had to use the speakerphone to make calls. Had to pay $7 to park long enough to unload my car since you do not have a loading and unloading area for your guests. This is not published anywhere on your website.Overall a very unpleasant experience and would not recommend this hotel to any potential guest

Alex at the front counter was a delight when we came, very welcoming and the room was clean and not very noise. Enjoyed the breakfast and the pool at the top of the building was nice. Airport right next door but still had a good time. Of course parking is 45 per night with in/out privileged. Park at the airport parking for a cheaper price if you plan on not moving you car.

This Hyatt House was very chic with a pool table near the bar, room and bed was comfortable, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Wasn’t there long enough to check out other amenities. A couple blocks from the airport. Paying for parking was the only downside. Tip: hotel charges $45 for parking, but the parking garage has its own fees that you can pay instead ($3.75 per 30 minutes, or $26 for overnight. I paid the overnight fee since I didn’t need to leave until the next day).
