The Wayfarer is a sexy new addition to Downtown Los Angeles! We stayed a couple weeks ago and were very impressed! The location is perfect. The hotel is located in a well lit, safe part of DTLA close to shopping, fine dining and LA Live. The rooms have HUGE televisions. I felt like I was in a movie theatre! And huge bathrooms too (girlfriend was very happy) and plenty of plugs for phones, laptops and other devices in convenient places. Whoever designed these rooms had function in mind as well as aesthetic and it shows. The true stars of the hotel are the 1) the upstairs - a rooftop restaurant and bar with killer views and creative cocktails and 2) the downstairs speakeasy which was both quirky and opulent with a great DJ. Anyone who stays here will have a hard time deciding which area they prefer more. As for me? I preferred it all and recommend staying here if you are a local attending a concert or meeting friends for dinner and want to skip the hassle of driving home late night. End your night at the Wayfarer and you will be glad you did!

The staff here are well experienced and provided nothing but the best during my stay. Check in was quick and smooth, and everyone at the front desk is happy to help! The front office manager, was especially helpful in accommodating my needs and arranging my two weeks trip to DTLA. The rooms are beautiful and stocked with anything you could possibly need. I highly recommend the rooftop bar and restaurant as they have great food and drink! Could not have asked for a better hotel in DTLA!

The Wayfarer is absolutely perfect for personal and business travel! The rooms are modern and spacious, the rooftop is chic (had one of the best cocktails I've had up there) and the speakeasy is fabulous. The free breakfast vouchers, boxed water in the room, and snacks were all amazing touches! After being dissatisfied with our original stay at The Freehand, working with Evan Anderson, and checking in to this property was a dream! Evan is as competent as he is charismatic- he impressed both me and my executive producer- with our hotel tour, and the unwavering hospitality! Any company would be thrilled to have someone as dedicated and as on the ball as he is! I want to thank both him & Chrissia Maclang for making our stay incredible!

This is an old building apparently retrofitted as a hotel. Reserved a King bed skyline view. We ended up on the 10th floor, not much of a view over a lower building. Small, remarkably small room. King size bed pretty much filled it. No closet for clothes or suitcases. Clean and very minimalist. Bed was comfortable.

Room Tip: Parking garage second next door is a bit of a dive. Not clean. Elevator kind of sketchy.

The hotel and room were a solid 10/10. Chrissia was the best and she helped my party and I so much more than she needed to. Great location for nightlife and the hotel included amazing amenities. Will be staying again.
