Our daughter is a real Vanderpump Rules fan. So for her 21st birthday we planned a Vanderpump Rules Tour. We selected the Walk of Fame HIX for our 3 night stay because it is centrally located to the Burbank Airport and the restaurants we wanted to visit. The morning breakfast is the standard HIX breakfast but the staff was EXCELLENT. Fast and friendly. Parking is $45 per day (ouch!!) but given parking is a premium in West Hollywood - not too bad. The valet was fast and friendly. The room was clean and everything worked with the exception of the tub draining a little slow. Walking distance to the
Hollywood Bowl and the Walk of Fame is about a 15 - 20 minute walk. We'd stay again.

From arrival to departure this has been a great hotel. Reception staff are efficient and friendly and the security staff are very friendly too. The hotel is beautifully located for Hollywood bowl and a short walk from the walk of fame and local metro stations. Parking is available if you're driving but getting about on the metro is easy to do and relatively inexpensive with the TAP card. The rooms are huge and the beds are very comfortable. Housekeeping services are carried out every 5 days but you can request a towel change and basic turndown of the room (empty of trash etc). It's much more environmentally friendly and you don't have a new towel every day at home but if that's your thing then you just have to request it. Breakfast was included with the room and was a buffet style offering. There is something for everyone! There are pancakes made to order, selections of breads, muffins, bagels and pastries. There are hot options such as omelette, sausage and buttermilk biscuits. Cereals, fruit and porridge are all available as well as juices and hot drinks. Plenty to choose from. The staff in the restaurant, Veronica and Adolfo, were absolutely superb. They were on hand to make sure that everything was ok and were constantly topping items up so there was plenty for everyone. Every day they would greet us with a smile and ask what our plans were and offer advice. They were exemplary and really got our day off to a great start. Both of them had beautiful smiles and couldn't have done more for us.

The hotel was recently renovated. It is quite stylish, but also clean and you can find your way around quickly. It is very well located in Hollywood, so the Hollywood Bowl or the famous boulevard are within walking distance (with the metro station nearby, Universal City too!). There is a pool, a small gym and a small corner in the lobby where you can connect your laptop to larger monitors. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean. It is worth noting that housekeeping must be explicitly requested in the lobby so that no unnecessary towel changes etc. have to be made. Valet parking is available for $45 net per night. A coin-operated washing machine and dryer are also available (coins can be exchanged at the lobby). The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, omelets, bread, bagels, cereal, coffee, tea and juices. Next to it is the already famous pancake machine, which produces two freshly baked pancakes within a minute at the push of a button (very popular with young and old!). Avoiding waste is a top priority, so most of the dishes can be reused/washed. The absolute highlight, however, are the two ladies Marieta and Veronica, who constantly make sure that everything at the breakfast buffet is in stock, replenished and clean. The two whirlwinds help with small problems or concerns and are always helpful. So, thanks to Marieta and Veronica, we can only highly recommend the hotel!

The only best thing about Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Los Angeles is their breakfast (hot food and coffee) and the kitchen staff, Marieta and Veronica. Both are very welcoming and are very attentive to the needs of the guests.
After check in and getting rejections on our requests like hot water or a kettle we started to lower our standard actually. Note that, we just transferred from Marriott SFO where, when we asked for hot water, they offered us kettle with bottles of water. Here, they said No! to all our requests or at least lay out some options.
The lobby is a bit off, it is like getting in a motel or inn. It is very unwelcoming because not even their front door is working. No one to help with your luggages. No mention of being an IHG member, no mention of free wifi (as part of IHG rewards benefits) until we asked.
Someone from the lobby told us to inform them daily before 11am if we want to clean our room. Not even a sign to say please make up my room or at least change the towels, clear the trash bins. We booked a room for 4 pax and we usually get 3 towels only so we have to call and ask each time for an extra towel. And we have to remind the reception everyday to please clean our room.
Even a request for a late checkout since our flight is at 6pm. “No! I have to get all my carpets cleaned!” That’s very firm NO. I got it!
We just have to convince ourselves that this is Holiday Inn Express and we do not get the same treatment and privileges as compared to the other IHG brands.

Our front desk team is always available to correct any issues you might have with your room accommodations, parking and other services quickly and efficiently. As a newly renovated hotel that has won Tripadvisor's Traveler's Choice awards year after year including 2023 and #4 out of 361 Los Angeles hotels speaks volumes from our satisfied guests. We had a very wonderful experience at Holiday Inn express. We stayed at a joint room where we have a door to easily access the other room where our other family members are staying, rooms were so clean and big enough, my favorite part of the room was the bathroom because it was so neat, complete toiletries and big space for vanity. The hotel is a walking distance to walk of fame and mall. Aside from the hotel’s accommodation, the staffs were so great as well - the lady receptionist was so detailed in explaining the rules and amenities of the hotel, the Man in the valet assisted us so well, and Marieta from the breakfast/dining area was super friendly, kind and accomodating. The breakfast was scrumptious that it made our stay worth it!

The room was clean, big and spacious. I like it that the room lighting was sufficient because some of the hotels lighting was dimmed. The hotel even has self laundry service! That was fantastic! Holiday Inn provides complimentary breakfast and the spread was decent with numerous varieties ranging from fruits, yogurt to pancakes and muffins. The kids are happy with the selection. The breakfast area was well maintained and Marieta greets us with a welcoming smile as we stepped into the breakfast area. She is attentive, makes sure that breakfast items are well stocked and refilled and clean up the tables promptly when the guests left so that it’s ready for the next one. Excellent job!

Close to Hollywood sights, walking distance to Dolby, TCL Chinese Theater, Hard Rock Cafe, Ovation Mall where you could see the Hollywood sign from the distant, close to Walk Of Fame, a little farther walk is Hollywood Bowl. Although located on a main thorougfare, room was quiet and never heard street sounds. We felt safe walking in town, nobody bugging us, just ignore homeless if ever you see one, they leave people alone, just walk confidently like an Angeleno. Pretty neat budget hotel, clean rooms, confortable mattress and pillows. Breakfast cafeteria style included, fresh food. Courteous staff. Marietta and Veronica in the cafeteria really helpful and friendly, they clean up tables fast and refill food quickly when needed, always smiling. Thank you for the good service.

We stayed here for our girls trip to LA. The hotel it located 2 blocks from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The room was spacious and clean. They do not provide daily housekeeping, if you need to exchange towels during your stay you can, but they will not come into your room.
You need to use your room key to enter the building, also for the elevator. You cannot press any floor without first using your room key to activate the button.
The hotel provides daily breakfast, Marieta and Veronica were very friendly and attentive every morning. Even though it was a self serve buffet breakfast, they were always willing to assist you with whatever you need.
They have a pool, but we did not use it.
You will need a car if you want to visit more then the walk of fame. Parking is $45 plus tax per day, valet only. The valet staff was always very nice, they even remembered us and our ticket number after few days, maybe because we were coming and going a lot. He would even hold the driver's door for me and close it when I got in.
The hotel is on a busy street, three lanes each way. Our room faced the street, we never heard any street noise in our room. Making a left wasn't really that much of an issue because you could usually pull out, if not, someone would usually let you out. Making a left turn is impossible.
I would stay here again if I were in the area. I enjoyed my LA vacation.

Upon check in the staff were friendly and welcoming, they advised they did not service rooms unless asked but towels could be collected from reception at anytime. This isn’t a problem for me and works better than having someone come in each day to replace my towels.
We checked into the room and there was a strong musty smell, after 10 minutes in the room it was unbearable and we requested to be moved, this wasn’t a problem and took no more than 2 minutes to resolve. The next room wasn’t as bad but there was a slight musty smell to it. The rooms themselves are a good size and the hotel itself is safe and secure.
At breakfast Marieta and Veronica were a dream and provided excellent service, I cannot rate them high enough, a huge asset to this hotel.

An all around great hotel for the price range; every one of the staff we interacted with was especially friendly and helpful. Tonia at the front desk checked us in early and made sure our room was perfectly ready before handing us the keys. The breakfast ladies (Marieta and Veronica) and gentleman were perfectly lovely, giving us bananas for our two year old when he refused to eat anything else. The valets were quick and efficient, keeping track of all the vehicles for a sold out hotel.

We paid through Booking and not with the hotel. However, if you are using a parking space for your vehicle you will pay like $50 per night which the hotel charges your card at checkout time.
Our 2 floor Suites with large balconies have 2 bathrooms. Half bathroom downstairs and a full bathroom upstairs.
We have luggage storage located near our lobby.
Only in our Suites.
