The Hotel is quiet and very comfortable - the proprietor listens and the restaurant staff is positively outstanding, the food is good and the location is the best for area attractions that include Columbia State Park, Lake Melones, the Rail Museum state park and many other gold country attractions The beauty of this hotel is that there is simplicity that makes for a wonderful stay, as worry free as can be

Warm cozy atmosphere for a large family gathering from Sunday brunch. Our meals were all very tasty, large portions and all arrived hot! The service team were completely professional and friendly. Will stop again when we get back to Jamestown.

We were passing through Jamestown on our way up to the mountains and decided to spend the night at this lovely golf country hotel. Aside from being a beautiful western style structure, the rooms were nice and modern, while still reflecting the areas origins. We stayed in the Vade Phillips room, which had two individual bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The bathroom was very modern, with a nice shower. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast of waffles, eggs, and sausages on their beautiful shaded outdoor patio. All around a great place to stay when passing through Jamestown!!

This was a great stopping place after our stay at Yosemite on our way to San Francisco. The room was neat and clean. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. All the employees were nice and welcoming. The town was very quaint and fun to walk around - even after most stores were closed.
