As far as the rooms, floors were remodeled but there were gaps (tripping hazards) as the laminate wasn't completely joined together in several areas - see photos. There was also screws left in one of the dressers with a pair of used gloves, of which I gave back to the front desk. When I also showed the front desk girl the pictures of the floor she said, oh well you know they just finished remodeling (about the screws) but never said anything about the floors.
We had the cleaning lady come in on our room the second day as we had to use our bath towels to clean the outside patio and sit on the chairs as there were spiders and trash everywhere - see pictures. So, when I told the front desk about all the spiders and trash outside on the patio she seemed annoyed that I asked for her to have the cleaning lady clean it. When we got back to our room, the patio was cleaned and we got new towels. I was going to make some tea in the coffee maker and when I opened the top to add the water there was an old coffee filter in there with used grounds. Keep in mind, we don't drink coffee so that he been in there from before we checked in days before and this was just after the cleaning lady just left.
Also, the remodeling was not complete on the floor molding which was apparent from the left over putty used to patch all the nail holes but no one sanded and painted it so it would be finished. Some of the molding cuts look rushed, tacky and just unprofessionally done. If your going to boast about your hotel being 'REMODELED', then it should look finished and professional done.
Now, let's talk about the patio dinning. The food was excellent and they have a great patio. You must try the chicken wings, they were awesome. The only problem we noticed was the male waiter didn't always wear his mask when he came outside to serve people. We were there for several days and observed him either not wearing his mask or it below his nose.
Overall, I think the golf course was great, but the rooms need to be completely finished.

The facilities are run down (see attached photos), the heater does not work and the filter indicator light says it needs to be changed (see photo), lights are out in the room, the bed is a lumpy cushion.
The reservations and front desk are only staffed a half day and sometimes they return calls, sometimes not. The two people I spoke with, Nikki and Chloe, seem nice, but were not very helpful once I arrived.
Interestingly, the one modern amenity is an electronic lock that is linked to a web app that enables the guest to check in without a key. This lets them process customers without a person.
I was in room 47.
I would not waste my time and money on trying this place out even once if i were you. Go to the Cozy Cup or Country Cafe.
Good day!
There is a restaurant in the country club, which is part of the golf course. The food is good, but not excellent. There is no free breakfast, and no pool.
It is very quiet, as the rooms are on the edge of the golf course. It is on the edge of town, so it is too far to walk to another restaurant or shopping.
If you are looking for a large room, with plenty of peace and quiet, then this hotel is for you. It is a little too expensive, but it is the nicest place in Hollister.
