This building appears to be very new, and as a result this is a very clean, comfortable and good quality place to stay. Our room was a decent size, with a nice bathroom and a great shower. Bed and pillows were good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was also good - better than a lot of other similar hotels - although with one nitpick. On the wall above the "hot food" section, there's a little icon depicting bacon, and nearby is a "build your breakfast" card which also shows bacon. However, there was no bacon available, only two types of sausage, which is always a disappointment and (in my opinion) one of the ways you can tell a good hotel from a great hotel. Perhaps they could either provide bacon on a daily basis, or remove these misleading signs.

Very nice hotel. Large rooms that are spotless. This is a new hotel so everything is in great shape. The breakfast was typical but unlike other HIE in California it did not offer many gluten free options. Staff at front desk were very nice and helpful finding us a gf restaurant.

This is our third stay. Each time our stay has been great. The rooms are clean and quiet. The bedding is new. Most importantly, the staff, especially Jezzel, was as accommodating as could be. A month after our second visit he greeted us by name without a computer prompt! He also made adjustments to our reservations to better meet our needs.

The property was clean and comfortable, but there was no hot water. We came back from hiking in Pinnacles National Park at 2 in the afternoon to shower. The water was lukewarm to start and only got colder from there.
We stopped at the front desk and told them. There were no apologies or empathy. We were told the would check with maintenance. When we returned after dinner at 9pm, there was still no hot water. Warm at best. Sorry, but the lack of a warm shower kind of kills the whole stay.

The front desk staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was very clean and spacious and was the best place on our trip to California which included a four star hotel on the beach in Santa Barbara.
Breakfast was quite good for a Holiday Inn. We enjoyed the cinnamon rolls.
The hotel is very new so everything is in good condition. The location is about 45 minutes to Carmel and 45 minutes to pinnacles National Park.

I have occasional business in Hollister and I make a point of staying at Fairfield. Great staff, flexible when needed on both check in and check out, outstanding included breakfast, great heated pool and gym! The lowest priced room is spacious and comfortable. Everything is clean and wel maintained.

We spent one night here as we passed through Hollister, CA. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites is a rather new facility. It was clean and comfortable and the price was very reasonable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast. I recommend it!

My family and I stayed a couple of nights at the Holiday Inn Express in Hollister. The check-in process was simple and the staff were friendly. Our room was comfortable and quiet. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. They have a complimentary breakfast. It included cinnamon rolls, bagels, toast, bacon or sausage, eggs, oatmeal, and yogurt. They also have coffee and juices to drink. They were slow in keeping up with the cinnamon rolls because they seem to be popular, but it was not because of lack of service. They were working hard to keep up. I recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Hollister.
