Detailed Reviews
The hotel was clean and inviting. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. I didn’t have time to eat at the on-site restaurant, but the on-site Starbucks was there to help get me caffeinated to start my day.
This hotel definitely caters to tourists wanting to visit Disneyland, yet it was perfectly suited to serve my business travel needs: quiet, good WiFi, and plenty of desk space to spread out my work. Additionally, its location in Garden Grove was perfectly suited for side trips to Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Anaheim and Fullerton without having to battle traffic on the freeways.
Finally, I left my car keys on my room when I checked out, and when I realized my keys were missing, I called Laura, a Front Desk Supervisor, who helped locate the keys and ship them to me back on the East Coast. I truly believe that without her help I would be in a world of hurt. She totally saved the day and should be commended for being so helpful. I don’t know who from housekeeping was that found the keys, but he or she should be commended as well.
I certainly look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Orange County.

Nice treatment for a Titanium member. Upgraded to a larger suite. Color scheme is from the early aughts but room was very clean and not worn. No concierge lounge at this property. Breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of hot entrees to choose from. Parking really ought to be complimentary since the lot has no security. But it wasn’t so I parked for free on a side street. 8 AM to 4 PM on Thursdays should be avoided for street cleaning but otherwise 72 hours is free. Had the usual premature knock on the door from housekeeping at 11 AM even though I was checking out at 2 PM and had the do not disturb sign on doorknob. Same story at every Marriott property.

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting Disneyland. We had an incredible room with a seating area and separate bedroom and the room was clean. There was no safe in the room which was the only downfall. The hotel was a 40 min walk to Disneyland but we took the ART shuttle bus, it was $16 for 3 day unlimited travel on the number 3 bus to Disney and back, arriving every 20mins or so. Room was very spacious.

Truly disappointing experience. We booked directly with hotel in advance. When we arrived the agent didn’t recognize our reservation that included breakfast with a AAA rate. She stated breakfast would be extra. She remarked that we must have booked with a 3rd party. We did not. She checked us in to a room. We were exhausted and hungry, so we dropped our belongings and left to eat dinner across the street. When returned we managed to pull up our confirmation via email to show her our reservation. She said she’d forgotten to ask about the AAA. I truly wish this had been the end of our issues but she checked us into a room that was right behind the elevator (room 511 or a “series 11” room as we were told by the morning agent). These rooms are basically “last resort” because not only is it loud but the room vibrates due to the elevator and the adjacent mechanical housing. I called downstairs and requested a move and was told by the same desk agent she didn’t have anything because we were only staying one night but if we’d be around the next night she might be able to help. We really tried to sleep. It was horrendous. I’ve stayed in a room near an elevator before but not like this—-the vibrations and the clanking for all night except maybe 2-3 hours —that’s not an exaggeration. Even with 2 white noise apps, the clanking and shaking was awful. Sometime after midnight. my husband went down to the desk to ask for a different room. The agent (a different one) remarked that she’d heard the room was problematic but still couldn’t move us even though she had rooms held for people who were arriving around 1 a.m. and they’d overbooked. At no time prior to our arrival did anyone explain they’d put us in a room that was unsuitable for sleeping. We were not warned or provided a chance to find other lodging before checking in. Our parking fees were waived. We asked to speak to the manager both at midnight and at checkout but no manager was on site. The desk agent said she’d have the manager call us, but we did not hear from the manager at all.
The only redeeming quality of our stay was a hot breakfast right before checkout (that we almost didn’t get due to the desk agent who could not find our reservation initially).
Avoid this place and if you’ve already booked request not to stay in any of their “series 11” elevator adjacent rooms and be prepared to have you email confirmation handy, Honestly if you’re reading this, I’d encourage you to book somewhere else! BTW, for the management-the elevator inspection is out of date.

We booked a family suite as a Disneyland Good Neighbor package which used to include a comfortable room and free cooked breakfast and parking. We got none of that although our initial package included it. Something has changed with this hotel and not on a good way. The rooms were clean but the door locks had issues. No microwave except a community microwave. The bathroom was clean and nice. The only option at this hotel was a King bed or two full sized although our initial package We booked back in January was for two queens. This option is no longer available. The full sized beds are lumpy, small and uncomfortable. We had to pay $25 per night to park and were informed that breakfast is no longer available to Good Neighbor package customers. E placed a mobile starbucks irder at the hotel starbucks? They not only deleted our whole order
but for everyone that had placed them in the hotel. Very frustrating. I've stayed at this hotel twice before and rated it awesome but this time mediocre at best. Shame on Disney for allowing the amenities to be cut off by their partners.

I stayed three nights and 4 days at the Anaheim Marriott Suities as vacation and visiting Disneyland. Check-in was fast and easy as they allowed me to check-in on Sunday morning as I was picking up a friend who was already staying at this hotel. The attendant was very nice and helpful, the room was spaciest, clean and very nice. We spent most of time going to Disneyland with friends but my girl friend and I were about to try some of the restaurants across the street from the hotel entrance, Oggi’s Sport Brewhouse Pizza was the place and the food was good there. We also tried the restaurant inside the hotel for breakfast out last day there and it was also had good food and service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting the area for either vacation or just plan relaxing.

Location was great Disneyland was close and the beach. The service at breakfast was impeccable 100% and clean. We stayed one night. The rooms space was good on a suite fits 6 people BUT rooms need to be updated, old unstable full size beds, my girls slept on one bed that tilted to one side literally to the air, at one point one of them seat on one side only her weight on one side and and mattress went flying dropping my girl and felt off with the mattress. The other thing we were very uncomfortable with was the my 10 yr old found a used razor behind the tissues in the sink area, very scary, dangerous and extremely dirty. The shower head had mildew didn’t feel comfortable with that either and the tub flooded quickly it took a while for the water to drain. At check out we brought all our concerns to Ryan at front desk and he was extremely understanding and polite, he was able to made made our day better and gave us a discount and apologize took our pictures and videos to try and resolve the problems we encounter in not one only but two suite rooms with similar problems.
We recommend this hotel because of the location and staff just inspect your rooms before you unpack!

Have stayed here 2-3 other times over the last 10 years....and little has changed. Great location if going to Mickeys House, though my wife and I spent night based on a great rate when visiting friends nearby.
At check in I was advised an upgraded room wasn't yet ready. After an hour + it still wasn't ready (3:30) and while the desk agent was friendly, she couldn't / wouldn't call housekeeping to get the room cleaned. As we needed to change and leave we took a room on the 3rd floor that seemed okay. I prefer high floors but was told the 12th fl room avail was near the elevators which were noisy and often resulted in complaints from guests unless deep sleepers. Appreciate her candor.
While waiting for our room we asked for bottled water but they had run out; told we could get a glass at the attached Starbucks but when pressed, was told there wouldn't be water in the room either, so we purchased a 6 pack at a gas station later that night so we wouldn't be parched overnight.
Nothing about the rooms have changed; std Marriott Suites layout and furnishings. While the hard goods were dated they weren’t damaged or beaten-up. Bed was comfy and had a good nights’ sleep. Seemed odd that our room (329) only had a tub-shower combo, as most Suites properties have separate showers and tubs.
In the morning my wife saw several roaches in the bathroom and sitting area, which upset her considerably. And while I was working at the desk someone keyed in and opened our door. Notified the front desk as I assumed someone from housekeeping failed to announce herself, but was advised by a concerned manager that someone else made a similar complaint, indicating someone's got an extra master key.
All in all, while frustrated with many aspects of our stay, we had a good nights sleep. As for returning, the rate was great and I’d be willing to give them another chance, but there were enough red flags on this stay that I have to share them publicly rather than just a private note to the hotel.

I booked eight rooms for four nights for 16 members of my family to celebrate my 75th birthday in Disneyland. There were many challenges with our reservation, but front desk staff Jade, and Tiffany were amazing and they spent a good deal of their time to make sure all of our rooms were available, and on the same floor. As the face of your organization, these ladies were incredibly professional, patient, and demonstrated the highest standards of customer service. I had a very disappointing experience on the last morning that we were all checking out. Family members had various flight departure times back to Canada, with the first group leaving the hotel at 5:30 AM. I went to the lobby to wait with my grandson to say my goodbyes as they came down to check out. I was approached by one of your security staff who informed me I was not allowed in the lobby to wait for my family, but would need to say my goodbyes in my room. I explained that I had 15 members of my family leaving that morning, and the first group was coming down, and I was not going to my room to say goodbye. The security staff went to get his manager, who came to question me as well. I was asked the names and room numbers of my family members who were getting ready to leave. As I started giving names, several of my family members came off the elevator with their luggage and the manager walked away. I have never heard of a hotel lobby being off-limits to guests, no matter what time day or night. I was made to feel uncomfortable, embarrassed, and extremely unwelcome. I spent almost $10,000 to ensure that my family would have an exceptional experience staying at the Marriott suites. It was an extremely disappointing end to what was up to that point a wonderful celebration of my birthday.

The hotel itself does not provide free shuttle to Disneyland. However, the shuttle you get onto is basically right outside in front of the hotel. What you need to do before getting to shuttle is buy tue pass ahead of time they don’t sell them on the shuttle when you get on. Go to TOKEN TRANSIT and the 1/day pass all day is $6/per person. Shuttle comes like every 25-30mins. Once you arrive at the shuttle station at Disney make sure you get the bus number you will be using all day. I hope this helps and have a Magical time!
Hi Shelli. We used Lyft to get to Disneyland- it was about $7 and drops you off right in front (much easier and cheaper than driving a rental and parking). From past experience the shuttles are too much hassle and too much waiting. We did walk back to the hotel at night after Disneyland- it's a long walk at 15-20 minutes but we stopped for ice cream midway which became the routine. Have a great trip. -Justin
