Simple resort and bures, but it had everything you needed! The food was good, the staff was really great! Had a lot of fun with the guys.. played with the little boys from the village!

One thing i was disappointed about is the way they treat the dogs! Scaring them of, shouting at them! The dogs are so scared, that is so sad! Please be good to them! 😓😥

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at Long Beach. We had a beach front bure which was right on the waters edge! Heaps of hammocks to lounge around in as well. The food is very basic. Alot of chicken and rice. However they are good meals. The staff are all family and are super friendly. They mainly just hang out until they are needed. They interact alot with the guests as well which is awesome as you can learn a lot. From here we did the blue lagoon snorkel trip ($25fjd). I would highly recommend this as an activity as the lagoon is beautiful. As a recommendation I would say to take your own snorkel if you have the room as the gear provided is well used.
Power is very limited. It went on around 8.30am until about 11am and again from 6.30-7pm until 10pm. Power is on in the main office/dining hall all day if needed.
You can't buy Wi-Fi here and service is very limited. I had a Fijian Vodafone sim card which worked in some areas of the resort but was very patchy.
All in all, it's an absolutely beautiful place and I would happily go again

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a relaxing time.

Small family run resort, only 10 guests when I was there. Food and accommodation is basic but major selling point is this place's tranquil idyllic location! Truly beautiful and feels very remote (even though you are on a decent sized island).

Lots of options for your days like snorkelling (famous Blue Lagoon only 20 mins boat journey away) and small treks like up the hill on neighbouring 'Goat Island'. All very affordable (Blue Lagoon trip only $25 (fjd). Can also explore further north to the caves for more money if you are not heading up that way later in your trip.

Very local and traditional so there will be kava in the evenings, and no trips can take place on Sundays as the locals cannot engage in any work on this day. But they love for you to go to church with them if you like.

Thoroughly recommended, my most beautiful stop in the Yasawas!

Honestly this place is breathtaking. In the middle of nowhere surrounded by the most beautiful views. This Is a family run place worth of appraisal, takes u back to reality without internet and purely natural and caught food/edibles. Would recommend.

We stayed in Long Beach two nights from the 29/11-19 to 01/12-19 and to be honest, it was a disappointment. The island itself is extremely beautiful with good hiking treks, snorkeling options and an amazing beach. A note though, is that you can't swim during low tide due to stingrays, which means no swimming from 12:00 till around 20:00, which we didn't know when booking. The reason Long Beach only obtains 1-star in my opinion, is due to the staff. The staff lacked severe enthusiasm and seemed demotivated to undertake any of the several activities able in the resort, even though some of the activities included extra payment for the resort. When you pay this amount of money, you expect the staff to be willing to help, when you want to participate in their offered activities. If you wanted to do snorkeling, it was a 50/50% chance (if even) whether the staff would actually take you and it required persistence. I know the term 'Fiji time' is very present on the islands, which means that the staff can relax as well, but in this resort it was just absurd. For instance 3 english fellas wanted to go night spearfishing, but ended up staying up all night and not being taken out. Furthermore they wanted to go to church service sunday morning, but the guy meant to take them just disappeared when approached sunday morning, and they just ended up missing the church service. Furthermore no activities can be done sunday (only the free treks on your own), since it is "church service" (church lasts from 8:30 to 10:00). None of the staff actually went, but they take the sunday off anyway, which i think definitely should be present on the booking site. We persistently asked to go snorkeling in Blue Lagoon monday morning as it was scheduled for 09:30, which finally happened with a delay of 30-45 minutes. The staff seemed almost angry to take us and tried to convince us to go snorkeling at the back of the island instead, since Blue Lagoon would be crowded (When we arrived, we were the only snorkeleres there). It seemed as if they just lacked motivation and tried to find an excuse for not going to the Blue Lagoon, as we had been promised we could go to the night before.
Another huge downside was the food. First of all the food is portioned by the kitchen for lunch and dinner, which meant you often would be hungry afterwards, since it was quite small portions. Lunch was at 12:00 and dinner at 20:00, which meant you often were starving at dinner time and the possibility to buy snacks during the day was limited to small bags of chips and cookies and in limited stock as well. Furthermore, the food served swung widely in quality. One day we had overcooked pasta with a small portion of cold diced tomato on top for lunch, which was almost uneatable, while the other day we had an almost decent vegetarian stir fry with rice and veggies. We didn't have high expectations to the food upon arrival, but we still expected to be full at least.
We came directly to Long Beach Resort from Naqalia Lodge, which was the total opposite. All in all a disappointment for my friend and i, but we kept to ourselves and enjoyed the beautiful beach and the free treks that the resort still offers. To be honest, I would recommend anyone going to the Yasawa Islands to find another resort.

Theft!
Stayed here 2nd and 3rd of January 2019. On the last night (the 3rd), the whole dorm room was raided by a thief/thieves. All together $500 Fiji dollars were stolen!!! I had $200 Fiji dollars taken out of my wallet which was in my locked bag and they had emptied my big traveller rucksack all on the floor, they didn’t find anything of value in there. We told the staff who told us that it happens, sometimes people from the village come and take items, so this indicated to me that this happens a lot. It’s easy for thieves to come in as the dorm room has no locks and everyone leaves to go to the dining room at the set meal times, so thieves have ample of time to come in and steal things. The Manager came to speak to us when we asked for her and she called the police straight away, they informed us that there’s an ex con in the village whose come onto their complex a few times, which makes me think why haven’t they installed locks on the doors or lockers for travellers belongings?
Also the dorm room is very cramped, toilets aren’t clean and the showers are salt water so I didn’t feel clean for the 3 days I was there! Overall, don’t stay here in the dorms, if you want to keep your money don’t stay here! Staff are nice and friendly and they put on good activities during the day and funny entertainment, they seemed shocked for us that the money had been stolen.

+ They make you feel part of the family. The place is like paradise, perfect to relax and decelerate. The food is good with plenty vegetarian options and most of the days there was more than enough. If needed they can also consider different dietary restrictions. Be advised that there are no ATMs and no supermarkets on the islands and there is no internet. Drinks and snacks are being sold at reasonable prices. They offer activities like guided walks, crafting, kayaking and also some evening entertainment - all very relaxed. Also snorkelling and diving trips can be arranged.
- The bungalows are spacious but basic. Due to the beachfront location and the climate (especially in the wet season) it can get very humid also inside the rooms (incl. bedding etc.)
- There were no towels provided and there is no bath rug so the floor gets quite wet when you take a shower

Enjoyed this beach resort! Our coconut course was amazing how to learn open a coconut and make a dessert with papaya and mango. Fruit just grows everywhere and it’s allowed to pick the fruit, which is amazing.

This resort was beautiful, the beach was lovely and the staff were full of Fijian hospitality. The guys at the resort put on lots of activities and you can hike over to goat island which is opposite to enjoy some really beautiful views across the islands. The food here was great and the room was comfortable. As with many of the resorts this far north be prepared for no hot water and limited electricity.

Long Beach Resort is comparable to paradise! Of all our Fiji trip, it was definitely our favourite. The staff made us feel like family, the food was yummy and the activities were great! The trip to blue lagoon and the coconut demo are absolute musts! The only slight downside is not being able to go in the water at low tide due to the deadly stingrays buried in the sand...but this is no fault of the resort and you can easily get a boat elsewhere.
