We have stayed a few times at the Hilton Culver city, and we actually have stayed twice in the last three weeks. We always start our US trip here and end here because of their exceptional hotel. Joanna at the front desk treats us as family, we are always in awe of her professional and friendly and super helpful customer service. We enjoy staying at Double Tree hotels, and this one had a very friendly and helpful staff, but the building was a little tired and needed some minor repairs and updating. Nice pool and hot tub. The cold breakfast of yogurt, cereals and toast was expensive at $18.00 per person, so we didn’t even ask about the hot buffet.

The Hilton Culver City is a wonderful place to stay, particularly as we come through town often for work. It’s a newer hotel, clean, and the vibe is contemporary, bright and airy in feel! The property has lovely amenities and the rooms and really nicely outfitted. But the thing that compels me to write this review is the service, from valet to housekeeping, but particularly from a woman named Karla who is part of the front desk staff! We’ve stayed here multiple times and Karla is always extra amazing in taking care of us. She is kind and efficient and always going out of her way to make sure we are happy. For example, we always need a high floor / quiet room as we often are record material for our work while staying at hotels; we travel with recording equipment. Our last stay, Karla went out of her way to ask her manager if we could go up to check out the potential room and make sure it was quiet enough before she officially checked us in. It was important to us that she took every step to ensure our needs were met. Karla is always quick to help no matter our requests, from ordering extra toiletries and towels to be sent up to our room promptly, to offering us all options on early check-in and late check-out. Always with a smile. She is truly amazing. Karla is wonderful and I hope Hilton corporate knows that they have an incredible employee and representative in Karla! Avoid this hotel. It is under renovation, and roughly half of its amenities and services are currently down. The website does not allude to this. The fitness center is down, all kitchen services are down, there is no on-site restaurant, and there are only water and ice machines on every other floor. On top of this, the jacuzzi is the same temperature as the pool (lukewarm).
Frustratingly, we were given a room on a floor without water or ice, making the stay even more inconvenient. When we asked for a refund, we were refused both by the on-site reception and by the corporate office. This location's management refused to speak with us when the corporate office connected us to them to discuss the complaint. We left a message detailing our problems with the stay, but never heard back.

Stayed for one night with my fiancé. Room was dirty and smelled. Went to breakfast in the morning before we headed over to Sony studios for the day and ordered two coffees and fresh fruit. The fruit came out brown with white mold all over the berries. Server didn’t catch the fact the fruit looked disgusting. When I showed our server the moldy fruit he didn’t even apologized and just grabbed the plate and took it away. Have gave us our bill and saw he still charged us $10 for the two coffees we ordered along with fruit.
Parking was horrific. I called from the room before I checked out to give plenty of time to bring my car around from the valet. After I checked out and waited another 15 minutes outside the valet asked if I was waiting for my car. I said yes and they ensured me my car was en route. I waited another 15 minutes and asked what’s going on and they said they weren’t sure. My car finally showed up after waiting in excess of 35 minutes and valet offered no apologies and the hotel still found it acceptable to charge me $30 for the night for valeting my car. (You can only valet at this hotel).
All in all horrible experience and will never return or stay at a double tree again. STAY AWAY!!!

Great check in and close to LAX airport, Rob at the front desk was very helpful and provided tools and muffins , starbucks coffee in the morning. the parking is a little pricey but across the street in a well lit area with in and out gates. overall i enjoyed staying there will come again

I stayed here for 5 nights on business. Their website is very clear about the current renovations, so that was to be expected. Before check-in on the app, I inquired about getting a newly-updated room via the message feature of the app and received a response very quickly that all available rooms were updated. The room was very clean and obviously updated. The staff was also very nice and helpful. Prking for this hotel is across the street, which I believe is because of the renovations. Paying $28 per day to park across the street seems a bit steep to me, though. I like a cold room and wish the A/C would have gotten cooler. It never got as cold as I'd like - and I closed the curtains all day. There is a large building being constructed next door which will likely eliminate most of the view from that side of the hotel (the odd room numbers).
This property should be very nice after cpompletion of the renovations. I initially questioned my choice of hotels, but that feeling went away. I'd consider staying here again.

I'm happy (and relieved) to update you that our ongoing rooms renovation should be completed by the end of the month! We will be starting renovations to our meeting rooms this month as well, however those are all located in a completely separate building than the rooms (so shouldn't be any disturbance there). We used to provide valet-only parking services due to the parking lot being located across the street. Like so many things with COVID however, offering really any valet services is somewhat impractical. That being said, when the new office building is done, we'll actually have a garage to park in there which will help immensely. Even on arriving at 3pm, I was not given the desired room type for which I paid extra. Then I had to wait another 45min to get the room. I wasn't offered any incentive for that lost time, not even the cookie which they offered to other guests.

I would’ve have given the property a 5 however there were a few glitches at the start of my stay. My room did not have working AC so the front desk agent moved me to a new room without an issue, however that room also did not have air. I saw maintenance taking a fan to a guest room so I asked for one to be brought to my room. I’ve never ever seen a fan used in a hotel. This leads me to believe they knew there was an issue. The next night I stopped at the front desk to get towels and the agent Gustin, asked about my stay so I told him about the air not working and that I was told there were no more rooms with double beds.
Gustin told us to give him a few minutes and he personally went to check on a new room to ensure it had air, sent someone to move our bags to the new room, provided us with breakfast vouchers for the rest of our stay and discounted the room!!! Thank you Gustin for going the extra mile and making our stay enjoyable.

My fiancé books and has us stay at this hotel often only because it’s not too far from the Airport and it’s by the mall. The rooms are ok and would be better if the Customer Service remained consistent. We know the front desk agents see us often and remember us, probably too often therefore we’re familiar to the point that they just don’t care if we request upgrades, they’ve never provided an upgrade as diamond members, or let us go past the 10th floor when we clearly always request high room floor even when the hotel is nowhere near fully booked. My fiancé sometimes gets chatty with the ladies at the front desk cause that’s just how she is, nice and social, but if you pay attention I’ve noticed the morning/afternoon front desk agents aren’t as professional and as nice as they seem. Perhaps they need to be reminded to not get too comfortable with loyal guest to the point the service starts to slack each visit. Loyal guest should never be provided Mediocre service, they should be given the best customer service and the agents should be consistent with being professional. For this reason I’ve tried looking for other hotels and hope that my fiancé would be open to booking the Marriot around the corner since this hotel and it’s staff seems to need a break

If I remember correctly, it was something between $35 to $38 per night … of course there is the whole tip issue to consider as well.
I was the there in November and the construction was extremely active…I recommend calling the property prior to booking.

No they do not. Like most hotels they do have an outside service that will pick up Landry/dry cleaning. I did not know the cost for that service.
