Hotel's Favourite
We stayed in one of the two suites at Cayucos Beach Inn last week. It was spacious, very clean, and had a comfy king-sized bed. Another plus is that the hotel is pet friendly, hence the photo of our dog sacked out after running on the beach. Cayucos Beach Inn is across the street from the beach, and within easy walking distance. We could also walk to one of our favorite restaurants in the area, the Sea Shanty.

We enjoyed this place. The rooms were clean and the bed was actually extremely comfortable. Great location, convenient parking spots -- all good. You could say the bathrooms are a little dated, but I found the place charming and would happily go again.

Big rooms for a suite, nice employees from office personal to housekeeping, quiet rooms, easy location to find, near downtown so you walk pretty much anywhere. Close to restaurants and very close to the beach.quiet,

First, I wanted to say that the area and facilities are extremely dog friendly. Their potty area is very nice and a good size. The rooms were clean and fairly big. I struggled with whether or not I should write this review, but I ultimately decided that it was worth it because after many weeks I'm still thinking about this incident. On our last day, there was a Hispanic lady that checked us out and was extremely rude. We asked some simple questions to ensure that we turned in our room key correctly, but she answered extremely rudely and had these facial expressions like we were stupid to be asking such questions. She treated the customers after us much nicer and I feel as though she was being racist. This was the first stop on our trip and this interaction that we had with her honestly ruined our trip because I kept thinking about it and replaying it in my head. I know people have rough days, but honestly, no staff should treat their customers this way. (As a note: as customers, I do not believe we did anything to warrant this reaction. We always leave the room with the beds made, dirty towels folded in one pile, we are quiet, and our dog does not bark. We usually would leave a big tip for the cleaning staff since we appreciate the work they do but in this case, we did not. ). I almost never write reviews, but I felt that it was important to at least note my experience with this particular place.…

Spent 3 nights here and thorougly enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful and our room was huge, with kitchenette (which we were not expecting) and lots of space for clothes, plus iron and board. They provide a simple breakfast of apples, bananas, coffee and packaged pastries which were horribly sweet so unfortunately inedible for us. My husband got locked in the bathroom after hours as the button lock got stuck - apparently a common occurance so be warned! The night bell took a while to get answered so I was in a panic but all was well in the end. The motel was good value for the area and we'd definitely stay here again. Thanks to Jasmine and the lovely guy on the desk, sorry I didn't get your name.

We decided to stay in Cayucos to break up a drive to Santa Barbara for a wedding. The staff here were so kind and helpful. Our room was very clean, quiet, and spacious. We walked to restaurants, cafes, shops, and the beach. We just booked another stay in September and look forward to visiting again. This is definitely our go to spot in Cayucos.

Clean,spacious rooms. Very pet friendly. We’ll be back! The pet area made us smile with a fire hydrant’. Comfortable beds and large bathroom counter with two sinks and bar sink,microwave and frig. Easy walk to town. BBQ areas and market next door.

I have stayed at Cayucos Beach Inn several times in the past few years when I visit family in the neighborhood. Checkin/out is an easy and friendly experience. The rooms are spotless, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished. I have never experienced any issues with pets. A/C and heat function efficiently and quietly. WiFi is fast. The office staff kindly assisted me with a fax transmission. The Inn is a very good value.

We had a terrific time. We were in three rooms (king suite, king, and two queens) for our three family trip. Rooms were clean and ready to go when we got there. Very kid and dog friendly but still quiet and relaxing. We found a pair of reading glasses under the cushion and left it out. They called me this afternoon to tell me we had forgotten them. Now that’s service!👍
