My wife and I stayed over the weekend on our honeymoon. It was a quiet, clean, and comfortable. The grounds were well kept and the common area had fun games and things to do. Within a couple minutes there are also several restaurants that were good and the staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

So with a toddler who is on the floor all the time, cleanliness is super important to me. I was recommended Hidden Valley Inn by a relative due to its proximity to Folktale Winery, and it did not disappoint. Outside of a small issue that did not impact my ability to enjoy the stay (and the staff member’s various attempts to address it—not to mention the swiftness of the response from the team), I can’t speak highly enough of this property. You can tell that there is attention given to the overall upkeep of the property. My only regret was not packing a swimsuit to enjoy the heated pool! I hope to return soon. A note: If you stayed with them prior to Covid, you should know they are now serving pastries only. I am hoping that changes, but the pastries were quite delicious!

The Inn is in a strange location and access in/out is a bit difficult. The rooms are just O.K. The wife complained that there wasn’t enough surface areas to suit the average traveller. I found the lack of AC a problem in the summer. The vending machine was out of order and the Ice Machine inconvenient.

The first night of my stay was very peaceful & quiet. Second night very noisy. Thin walls. Could hear next door occupants’ tv & it was loud. Room was nice but floors were wood & needed some rugs. Thank you
