We stayed there 2 nights and enjoyed the place a lot. It needs to grow on you as the building is not very appealing at first sight. Service was impeccable and smiling. Food was very good and breakfast too. Our room was the only disappointment as it was located on a corner

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review of your stay at Inver Lodge. I am delighted to read that you enjoyed your stay with us and yes others have commented on the exterior but as you experienced it is quite the opposite inside with spectacular views across the bay. We are in such a perfect location for adventurers with Suilven,Canisp,Cul Mor and not forgetting Stac Pollaidh within the area. Hope to see you again on your next adventure. Many Thanks General Manager Inver Lodge Hotel

Location: Nestled in a hill, overlooking Lochinver, The Inver Lodge commands a wonderful view of both the harbor and the town itself. In regards to the 500 (if you're doing it) it is the perfect point to treat yourself(s) to somewhere, and something better. The building:

The building is not the prettiest of buildings but the welcome was good. The room was of a reasonable size with great views of the harbour but the modern bathroom was very small although functional. We stayed for three nights on a DBB basis the food was above average with

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review of your stay at Inver Lodge. Thank you for considering us again for your next trip around the NC500. Unfortunately we have other Guests comment on the building but with the harsh weather conditions it has to stand up to the elements hense the exterior/colour but when you are inside we have the lovely welcoming fire with the open plan reception/lounge area-we are disappointed to read it wasn't to your taste. There are many rooms on the ground floor all with views of the harbour and all rooms were spacious. Our room had a bath with a shower above but I am not sure if any of the rooms had a separate shower. Please be aware that the hotel is situated off the main road up a short but steep hill so you may need a car to access the hotel but well worth it, tremendous hotel.
