An amazing place. an unbelivably beautiful complex. An amazing room. Unfortunatly we have stayed there for just one night. they have a very good restaurant in the hotel, but also a bistro which is cosy with local and good food.
My wife asked where would like to go for your 60th birthday meal, obviously The Moulin De Connelles.
If you have never experienced this restaurant then you really don't know what your missing. Madame Petitau and her wonderful staff are so attentive to your needs...More
It felt like heaven to arrive at Moulin de Connelles after our 20 hours transatlantic travels. We were greeted by Karine, the proprietress, and she was extremely friendly and helpful. Later in our visit we enjoyed chatting with her.
Our room had an amazing view...More
We stayed for one night in April having stayed here before last August. The warm welcome was wonderful from Karine and her staff who made us and our 2 year old son and dog feel like we were in a luxury home from home.
The location is very picturesque and the evening meal was nice, though not as good as some of the places we visited in the Dordogne. Just wished we could have stayed longer in the area as i'm sure there would have been some nice places...More
Yes I agree. You do need a private (or hire) car. It is worth it though. A wonderful place to visit & the staff could not be more helpful & welcoming. Do visit Paris by all means but do when you arrive/leave.
