We had a lovely time in Pushkar. The hotel is very nice. Rooms are very big and clean and comfortable. There are also adorable monkeys outside here which make the best of neighbours. Food was delicious. Highly recommended
I loved the entrance hall with all the lovely pictures around it and the internal courtyard around which the rooms were situated on 2 or 3 levels. Very good restaurant where we had breakfast after arriving on the train from Udaipur. Had pakora a couple of times for a snack and some watery tomato soup. At dinner I chose curry pakora which was a big mistake as it was like meatballs with absolutely no flavour floating in a curry sauce which WAS tasty. I had some fresh pineapple and a couple of pots of masala tea - VERY GOOD. Unfortunately the weather had been cold and I had developed a sore throat and runny nose - there was no heating in the room or no bottled water or tea making facilities. The restaunt manager noticed I was suffering and he kindly gave me a kettle' bottled water and some tea bags to take up to to my room. Breakfast the following morning was more pakora, onion bhajis and masala tea again.…
Perhaps our title ‘Third Visit’ sums it up. We have the same room as last year. The rooms are immaculate, the service tops, the food in the restaurant very tasty and the friendliness of the staff is so welcoming. We were recognised by everyone and greeted as if we were the most important folks to them. Easy 10 minutes walk into town or take a Tuk Tuk.
The room was nice and clean and overlooked a grassy area (the accommodation is in the shape of a U). There was a swimming pool that was cold but usable. The hotel is a few minutes walk into town but this does mean that it is nice and quiet. The restaurant was OK but you would be better off eating out (there is a lovely small restaurant about 100m down the road towards town).
Comfy beds, hot shower and free wi-fi . Food is lovely and fresh. This a pleasant place to stay and very pretty with the balconies overlooking the courtyard . Staff are friendly and helpful. Close to markets, lake and temples. I definitely would stay here again
