The Cheriton Guest House is situated in the charming suburb of Seaforth, in the historic naval town of Simon's Town. The well preserved, elegant Victorian house is set against a beautiful mountain backdrop, overlooking False Bay. There is a maritime theme throughout this century old home. Our seven en suite rooms have complimentary amenities, satellite TV and WiFi. The Cheriton is well-positioned in its proximity to lovely beaches, walks, diving adventures, boat tours, and the South African Navy. A continental spread and a hot breakfast is served each morning in the dining area and on the “Captain’s Bridge”. Lounge by the pool under the warm African sun in the tranquil terraced garden or take a five-minute walk to the famous Boulders Beach penguin colony. After a relaxing day, enjoy sundowners and canapés in the “Just Nuisance” pub. With a reputation for warm, friendly service and a high rating for cleanliness, guests can relax and enjoy all that The Cheriton offers.

Vanya and Nicole and all the team at the Cheriton are welcoming and friendly. The place is beautiful overlooking the bay and sitting on the verandah eating the superb freshly cooked breakfast is a highlight . The outside area and pool are pretty and landscaped. Rooms are spacious and confortable. It was so good we stayed an extra day!

We stayed in a lovely room with an exception bed (the best bed we had in the Cape). The whole building and the grounds are tended to so lovingly by the staff and that care extends to the guests. The breakfast was lovely and we had the pleasure of experiencing the decor and all the magic that comes with such an amazingly historical yet modern accommodation.

I was most impressed by everything the CHERITON has to offer. Being on my own, after visiting the grandchildren & their parents in Cape town, I was thoroughly spoilt. The view from the deck is stunning. The accommodation would suit families, business people or solo travellers. The pool & garden area at the back, has lots of space and areas to tuck yourself away and read or entertain! . The bar is extra special and has a fascinating visual impact! Nicole, the young Manageress is an expert chef trained in Franschhoek! Don't miss her special included breakfasts! She will also provide any other meals as requested. We tasted tasted delicious ostrich & kingklip with a variety of vegetables expertly prepared. Don't miss out on something special!

Booked in at the Cheriton guesthouse on the 16th till the 21st January 2022. Was perfect for my fiance and myself. The room was neat and clean. The meals were delicious. The service was brilliant. It's perfectly situated in the hear of Simonstown and made travelling around to the places we wanted to visit very convenient. Thank you Ros, Nicole and the rest of the staff. Highly recommend the Cheriton Guesthouse.

My only regret is that we did not spend more time here! The Cheriton Guest House was an adorable place with comfy rooms and a supreme location. Three of us traveled there, and stayed in two of the rooms. Both were very well decorated and comfortable. The Guesthouse has a lovely pool deck, hidden pub & game room, and lovely views from the breakfast room on the main floor. We walked to Boulder's Beach in the morning to visit with the penguins. I'll definitely stay here when I make it back to Cape Town one day.

Amazing hidden jewel with cozy atmosphere and amazing attention to every little detail. The down-stairs "sailers' pub is something I'am sure even Ernest Hemingway would enjoy. The food and specially made canapés was very much enjoyed. Hope to be back soon to enjoy the town a bit and the cheriton again. Loved the location and loved the privacy.

We booked a weekend at this awesome guest house in Sea Forth Simon's Town. We stayed in the Luxury suite - The Modjaji. The whole experience was way better that we could have hoped for.

The first thing that impresses you is the decor. There is so much to look at and be absorbed in. THAT BAR is like stepping into another time zone, with collections of Naval and shipping memoirs that will keep you busy for hours.

We had ordered our menu's in advance, but were not sure what to expect. It is a guest house after all. All our expectations were surpassed. Nicole is a brilliant chef. I don't think I have ever eaten such tasty food. It was prepared and served by Nicole who is also a lovely host.

A truly magnificent weekend. We will certainly be back for a another visit.

Not at all an ordinary bnb! Cosy and familiar atmosphere and great breakfast accompanied with classical music and a fantastic view over false bay. The rooms are more like small studios with kitchenettes. We really enjoyed it!
