I stayed at Adil for 6 nights, 3 in the basic rooms at the entrance, 2 in an "en suite" villa facing the paddy fields and 1 in a small villa. The standard rooms are ok but located near the main road and there were lots of noise especially the first night. The site in charming and offers calm and tranquility. There are 3 pools very clean. You are immersed in the paddy field work daily.
Rooms are well decorated and comfortable.

The staff are extremely pleasant and quite efficient.

The location is a bit far from the center of Ubud.

The daily free shuttle is ok but leaves quite late (10:30) which is unfortunate

The restaurant's food is really basic. There is an attempt to offer western, indonesien, Japanese, italian, ...dishes but all are based on industrial frozen ingredients. Even the breakfast offers only frozen food. As a consequence, very few guests are eating in and no one from outside is attracted. A limited menu made of fresh products with a signature theme would not cost more but would be way more interesting.

Overall though, I had a good experience

Staff is friendly and most understand english, rooms are fine and have aircon and spacious enough. Plenty to do in Ubud but if you dont like busy or people 2 nights is enough. Further more its good place to escape the business outside and make youself ready for traffic and scooters

Stunning property! Just astonishing surroundings and beautiful infrastructure. 3 pools and lots of very friendly staff. I had issues with my wifi the first day and they made sure to fix it quickly and accommodate me on that. About a 7 minute scooter ride out of downtown Ubud, off a busy street yet so quiet and peaceful. Restaurant had good food at reasonable prices. My only negative comment would be that the TV is essentially useless as a tourist. Nothing but 13 local Indonesian channels so I couldn’t really watch anything. Definitely not a big deal but would be nice to have some movie or tv options when chillin in the room. Would highly recommend this place, especially as a romantic getaway for a couple.

We’ve only been here for 7 hours and there is already a lot of things happening. This is our 2nd hotel in ubud.
1.) The water coming out from the tub is brown. We tried to put the faucet but still brown.
2.) We called the receptionist to book a massage for tomorrow 6PM, I was enjoying in the pool and the therapist is in my doorstep because the receptionist put the schedule in the system for today, the masseuse said I will be charged a cancellation fee and had to call the reception for this.
3.) After pool, I went to go take a shower but there is no water in the shower, tub or faucet. I had to call the reception again and she mentioned that the Engineering guys will refill the water and will take 30mins (It only took 12mins, thanks)
4.) After shower, I was blowdrying my hair and the power was cut. I went to check other villas and their power was okay. I called reception again and they sent their engineer and he reset the power and it was on (Explanation was when I use the blowdry it triggered the whole power causing to have short circuit) Sari from reception came to my room and applogised (I appreciate it)
5.) Me and my sister ordered in their restaurant She ordered Spaghetti marinara with Melon Mojito, I ordered Duck in rice with a green hulk, after 40mins of waiting her pasta arrived and after an hour my order still wasn’t served. I asked the waitress and she said she thought we only ordered one food and 2 drinks which is weird because she repeated my order and mentioned the Duck. She apologized but I am writing this hungry and upset. Thank you for the Ice cream but I came here for dinner

I still have 2 nights here and I am thinking to just change to another hotel

We stayed a night in a deluxe room. Location of property was just off the main road but the sign wasn't very conspicuous so you might miss it if you were trying to locate it at night. Parking lots were limited so if you drive and stay there during peak season or the weekend, it might be an issue.

Hotel staff were friendly and hospitable and the booking came with a free welcome drink at their Cafe located in the middle of the paddy field. There were 2 lap pools on the property which looked quite under utilised but I guess nobody really comes to Ubud to just laze by the pool unless you have the whole Villa to yourself.

We were impressed by the surroundings and environment as it was just what we were looking for to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This is definitely a place to reclaim your thoughts and re-energise so long as you can stay away from your mobile devices to check email or social media. WiFi connectivity was ok but internet speeds were inconsistent.

The room however was less impressive. It was clean but very spartan. The large bed was the prime highlight. AC was not very cold but fortunately the weather was cool when we were there. The room did come with a smart TV which was abit of a surprise since properties of this class usually didn't even have proper TV reception sometimes. The toilet is very basic and generally clean but the toilet bowl had stains that should have been removed. This is something that housekeeping should look into. Water was hot and drainage was fine for the shower.

Breakfast didn't have much selection and tasted quite bland for most dishes so you might do better saving your stomach for something else.

If you want peace and quiet without breaking the bank for a high end resort in Ubud, this place is still worth consideration despite some of its flaws.

Certainly not everything is bad. The location of the restaurant and the swimming pool are beautiful, just like the houses around it.
The superior rooms are really not recommended. That building serves as a noise buffer for the very busy main road. Moreover, the adjacent pub plays loud music 3 days a week. And that until the late hours.
The staff is less helpful than in the other hotels.
Too bad, the pictures promised so much beauty.

Excellent private villa with pool for families. Great staff and breakfast and well located in Ubud. If ur looking for a tranquil holiday to just relax and chill and maybe do a bit of sightseeing on the side- then Adil Villas & Resorts is the place to go to. Their private villa and as well as their individual villas are nicely designed and there is a vast field off the property where we can just sit and watch the field workers go about their job from the breakfast area. Very good for couples as well as families

Two years ago me and my friend already stayed here and really enjoyed the service and all facilities. After 2 years we wanted to stay here only because of arrow 🏹 play and wanted to have a class with arrow teacher. And we book in advance and also mentioned several times that we are coming to stay in your hotel only because of your good service and arrow play. However this time the service really surprised me. It was difficult to book a class. We understand it can be busy and many guests. However when I go for class I wait and wait for teacher to start. Later I went to reception and look for a teacher. The receptionist said, oh sorry, he forgot about your class. Ok no problem. We go and start the class. However he didn't have protection for the hand. Teacher said sorry friend took it. I really don't understand this time all this unfriendly service. Also a bit disappointed of breakfast. Maybe because last time was a la Carte BF and was hot and delicious. This time food already cold and doesn't look fresh. Just very disappointed after waiting for so long time to come back. And had to cancel arrow class, because not safe to play without hand protection.

Nothing bad about this villa. The view; tiptop. The staffs are kind and awesome. Waking up with the sound of bird chirping, duck quacking and the morning sunshine are a blessing. Highly recommended this villa. So peaceful. Special thanks to Tresna Sari for the driver arrangement despite really last minute and so sorry for disturbing you with a phone call early in the morning. Feel bad because I didn’t manage to thank you personally. Hope this help☺️. Definitely will comeback to Adil Villa
