We visited solang in Feb 2020, This place is 20 mins uphill from manali by car or bus.Its called solang valley and bus stop is solang nallah. They charge 800 rs one way by car and 1500 to and fro . The resort is decently maintained , Front view was mesmerizing as it was all snow covered. Mr Negi the resort manager was accommodating and upgraded us to a balcony view room with no extra cost. Now comes the best part , Location is 100 mtrs walking from main solang ground , You start to walk and you reach the main ground within minutes . so if you are planning to stay in manali and visit solang i would suggest other way round because this place is like heaven on earth. Manali is still a station as other places., but if you like mountains and snow peaks then you should definitely stay at solang. Food was excellent though very limited menu on package but the cook was perfect with his preparation. They have snow activities behind the hotel also. Do visit Anjanai Mahadev temple if you plan to visit solang valley. …

So, the location of this resort is perfect if you intend to travel to Rohtang and beyond. Also it is 2-3 minutes walking from Solang Valley where all the activities happen - paragliding, zip line, river crossing etc. Rooms - They are nice and decent. I felt washrooms could be maintained better. Not that they aren't good with all the tourist rush, but surely can be improved. Food - Excellent food. The breakfast and buffet in night had some awesome delicious food available. Room Service - prompt and excellent. The only major issue I felt/experienced at the hotel was parking of cars. It was way too unmanaged. We had to leave early in the morning, but at the time of start we found our car blocked with multiple cars. This wasn't public parking, but private parking of hotel. The support staff had no clue who these cards belonged to. It would always be advisable to keep track of vehicles being parked in your parking and which room the guest is staying in. Anyways - that wasted almost 45 minutes as we had to go door-to-door in search of car owners. After that, the support staff member (vishal) even though being a driver refused to move the blocking cars! I had to myself drive the cars blocking out, got my car out, then parked back the other cars in hotel. This wasn't something which is expected. Lastly, would I stay here again? Probably yes given the excellent location and awesome food. Above issue isn't something which can't be fixed and I'm hopeful that Resort management would take the feedback in positive manner to improve their service. Overall, a satisfactory stay with one blemish. :-)…

Stayed for 3 nights in the Super Deluxe Room with Mountain view. They have one of the most friendliest staff who's always ready to ensure comfort of their customers. Arranged heaters at a short notice when asked for. They have an inhouse restaurant which also provides Room service. Always ready to customize the food as per our taste. The Manager and staff are all friendly and ready to help with touristy advice as well. Definitely recommended if you want a calm and peaceful stay away from hustle and bustle of Manali City Centre. This place is also closer to the Snow Point.

We booked the stay from 26th to 28th and the stay was marvelous. The hospitality is nice and their gm is very nice and cooperative. Our car was stuck in the middle of the ice so gm helped us out. Food can be improved but rest all is perfect.

This is a very good hotel in natures lap. Must visit for a soul searching days. Situated in lap of hills covered with tall Trees and is very close to ancient Shiv temple, Paragliding site. Riverside view and place is added advantage and can have peaceful evenings. have great view of Snow covered mountains and nature is at its best. Best place to visit and enjoy nature.

Awesome stay... Beautiful rooms. Best location. Beautiful view. Food is also good.. excellent and cooperative staff. It is a must stay place in Solang valley. I stay there for 3 days and it was so beautiful. Mountains are also visible from the balcony.

Its a okay resort! But solang valley is itself so beautiful so it covered up the hotel rooms. Staff is very helpful and very friendly. Always ready to fulfill the guest needs. Service is very good. Rooms are clean but old.

Wonderful resort in mid of the snowclad heavenly mountains, giving a dreamy view from each window. Its a very well located reosrt, at walking distance from the Solang Ropeway and Skiing plateau. The staff is very warm and caring and the food is great. Total value for money. I stayed there from 15th to 17th March 2018, 02 families with kids and enjoyed a lot.
