Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. No elevator wasn’t a problem if you don’t mind stairs. Very quiet on backside of building 2nd floor. Friendly staff. Several food options close by. Would stay again if in the area.

Hello, Thank you for choosing to stay with us while you were in Mountain Home, Arkansas. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We work very hard to ensure each guest has the best stay possible. No, unfortunately we do not have an elevator and this is stated on every website. When booking a room, be sure to read each room description and click on more under each room description. It will either say "no elevator access" or "ground floor". That will let you know if its an upstairs room or a downstairs room. That is the only way we can let guests know if the room is upstairs or downstairs. I hope this helps. We hope you will again choose to stay with us next time you are in our beautiful area.

Rooms are clean & spacious. They are serving a limited breakfast during CoVid. Very quiet & comfortable. No elevator but we need the exercise anyway. Lol! Debbie at the front desk is a great wealth of information. Very kind & friendly. Told us about Cotter park to visit. Worth the trip. She also let us know about the Freds Fish House. Great food!

A very nice, clean, comfortable hotel. The only drawback - no elevator! This might not be a problem for younger people, however, as older travelers, it is a concern. I wasn't aware of the elevator situation when I booked the hotel through a competing "price" site. After learning this, I reread the site's description, and there is no mention about the lack of an elevator. Yes, I will let the site know, but it's important for all travelers to know the rooms are only accessible by stairs - so pack lite!

Hi ShawnL239, In order to get exactly the room you want, its ALWAYS best to call the hotel directly. That way you will get the room you want every time. When you go through a third party site, your reservation and stay is out of our hands. I'm sorry you didn't see the "NO ELEVATOR" on the website you booked through. Its posted on every website, that we are associated with, but there are a lot of third party sites that we have no control over and they control the content. I am not sure what website you booked through. Sometimes you have to look in the amenity list and its also on each room type description next to each room type. If its an upstairs room it will say no elevator access next too the room type in the description. Sometimes you have to click on "More" in order to see it. But it should be there. If its a downstairs room, it states its downstairs. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will again choose to stay with us next time you are in our area. Ricky and Karyn Johnson Owners

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights recently on family business. The bed was comfortable. The bath clean and the towels were of good quality. Masks and other COVID safeguards were in place and adhered to. The receptionists were friendly and helpful.

This is a relatively new hotel, thus the 2.5 star rating, I guess. It was very clean. Bed was comfortable and the water pressure good. These are my “go-to” concerns when booking a 2, 2.5 star place. No frills. The breakfast, thanks to COVID was so minimal that we ate out. Has a work out room with a treadmill and elliptical. A pool that was locked, although it would have been lovely to be able to sit out around it, even if too cold to swim. We could never get the heating/cooling system to work, but the temps were moderate enough that it was only a problem in the early mornings. Young woman who cleaned the room (while I was in it) was very pleasant and thorough. Did Priceline to book; about $20 less than quoted price on website.

Hi LovesGoodFoodTexas, Thank you so much for the review. Our hotel was built in 1995 and we finished a complete remodel in fall of 2018. I'm so glad you enjoyed our new mattresses and how clean our hotel is. We pride ourselves in having the cleanest rooms in town. The staff works very hard in ensuring that each guest has the best stay possible. The swimming pool is closed for the season and since the water level is taken down for the winter months, we don't allow guests inside the pool area. We hope you will again choose to stay with us next time you are in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Ricky and Karyn Johnson Owners
