We were exploring areas of Arkansas to retire in. We stayed here one night. Our room was very dirty. There was dirt and hair along the bathroom baseboards. The hallway floors are also really dirty. The light switchplate was even dirty. During a pandemic, especially, cleanliness standards need to be held a lot higher. There is no way I would stay here again. This motel definitely did a poor job of representing their community.

This hotel was horrible. It had bugs all over the place, the rooms were outdated, mold in the bathroom, and all around nasty. I would not recommend this location to anyone. It was over all a bad place to stay.

No problems or issues that matter. The breakfast was not acceptable; better to give a $3 gift certificate for McD's. What once was the pool had become a collection point for dirt and garbage. OK for business, not so much for leisure travel.

We regret that you were not satisfied with our breakfast; we offer sausage patties, boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, bagels, waffles, yogurt, cinnamon bread, other breads, oatmeal, four cereals, and several beverages; please let us know where we can improve. Please understand that our pool was not open at the time of your visit, and that it had just begun to undergo its yearly cleaning and maintenance. It is now clean, functional, and open as scheduled. We stayed here for one night in late August 2020. We arrived in Mountain Home after a long drive and the room was exactly what we were looking for: clean, comfortable, spacious, affordable (well under $100). Our room had been updated since the pictures on the website were taken, as we had a laminate wood floor, which I like a lot, since it doesn't hold odors like carpet and I'm sure it's easier for the housekeeping staff to keep clean. They should really look into changing the carpets in the lobby and hallway, as those definitely had a smoky smell to them from the days when people could smoke in hotels. We also very much appreciated being able to bring our dog with us to this hotel, since we travel with him frequently. Staff at the hotel (and most of the guests) were very courteous about wearing their masks in public spaces, which we really appreciated. The hot tub was closed because of Covid-19, but the hotel pool was still available to a limited number of guests at any one time. This Days Inn was also still offering their hot breakfast with a few changes to meet health codes during the pandemic. They had boiled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, waffles, toast, bagels, fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk, coffee, and juice. I was not expecting to get a breakfast at all because of Covid regulations, so having these items available was a nice surprise. There were quite a few restaurants within close proximity to the hotel, most of which offered takeout. We got Mexican food for dinner to-go from Salsa's right down the road, which was very good. All in all, we had a very nice stay here at the Days Inn, Mountain Home. It was affordable, clean, and pet-friendly.

We have stayed at this hotel twice. Both times our room was unclean and we had to ask for things to be taken care of. Once our television didn’t work AFTER we were moved to a new room. Every time we stayed, even though we had a do not disturb sign on the door, housekeeping pounded at least 30 minutes prior to check-out, and once tried to open the door. During our most recent stay (why we stayed and gave them a second chance it’s beyond me), I had to wait all day on my husband and I asked if they would mind if I used the pool after I checked out, and I was told absolutely not. In other words, check in isn’t until 3, and if you pay for two nights you are apparently only allowed one to use the pool. Because, you know, that would be a huge loss of revenue for the hotel. Breakfast is inedible and staff is very unaccommodating. I have had laundry done once and left it with them overnight and in the morning it was wadded up in a basket, not even folded, after I PAID for the service. As for the owner’s reply to the reviews, those are bullsh*t. He is out for money and money only and does not give ANY regard whatsoever to how guests are treated or their comfort. We will not stay again, I will gladly pay a little extra to not have to deal with their mess and horrible customer service. This hotel and their service are just unacceptable, period. There is no other way around it. I’m sorry we gave the second chance, and we won’t be making the same mistake again. I SINCERELY hope that the owner doesn’t do something like try to reply to this, because words mean nothing and actions speak very loudly, and actions in this hotel prove that they don’t care one bit about their guests. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

We are of course very disappointed to receive such feedback, but allow us to assure you that we take each and every issue very seriously and make every possible attempt to resolve them to our guests' satisfaction. We apologize for the housekeeping problem and have addressed it with staff. The pool is open from 9am to 9pm daily and by necessity we must adhere to those hours. Check in is at 2pm, which is necessary so that our housekeepers may finish cleaning the rooms from the night before. You do not specify what concerned you about our breakfast, but we put out fresh items daily in accordance with Wyndham guidelines, and offer biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, boiled eggs, bagels. waffles, cinnamon bread and other breads, three cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and beverages. Our laundry service includes folding only if requested; if you requested it and it was overlooked, we apologize. It is sometimes difficult to perfectly respond to every problem, but we do try, as our many Chairman Awards for Quality suggest. We regret that our efforts did not meet with your satisfaction on this occasion, and hope you will give us another opportunity the next time you are in our area. Thank you.
