We were there for 7 days and had wonderful service. Marilyn and Andres served us at breakfast each day. Gustavo was outstanding as our concierge. One of the best and we appreciate all that he did for us. The service at the beach pool was great as well. They kept our drinks coming as we lounged by the pool.

We are Circle Red members and this was our annual member week at what is our home resort. This was our second time at this specific property and third overall at the Melia group of properties in this area. In all, a very satisfying week (although some of the special experiences were members only benefits and so may not be available to all). First, as it relates to rooms, we had a 2 BR Lock Off, which is an adjoining room configuration where one room is a MBR suite and the other is a one BR suite. There were 4 of us in our group - 2 Adults and 2 13 year olds - and the rooms setup was absolutely perfect with lots of room for all. Second, as it relates to dining and drinks, overall experience was excellent (Mina A+; Amor Da Mar A+ (especially the members breakfast); Romantic Beach Dinner A). Third, as it relates to customer service, overall experience was an absolute A+. Special mentions include Juan Rivero (our concierge who literally was available for every request 24/7), Carmen Vasquez, Ermogenes Almonte, Julio Marcelino and Pedro aka Coco. Thanks to the entire crew for making our stay memorable. Finally, thanks Carlos and Santo for helping us with the Circle Membership upgrade process. We hope to see you all soon!!

I want to start off by saying that if anyone is thinking about booking this resort they dont need to think it further. Why do I say this? Well, we got to this resort as part of an upgrade from Melia the Level to the Reserve at Paradisus Grand Cana. We went there for my brother's wedding which took place at Melia Caribe Beach we were a group of 47 people. My sister and her husband also got upgraded which was great as we got to be together for the lenght of our stay. From the time we stepped foot at Paradisus Grand Cana we were taken to the Reserve lounge were we were nicely greeted with drinks and canapes. We got our bracelets and were assigned a Mastersuite which was stunning. We were also assigned a concierge, PRAXEDES who took care of all our needs and went above and beyond with every detail and any requests we had. At the pool we had great entertainment given by CARLOS we did paddle boarding and water aerobics. The restaurants are amazing, I can't recommend one above the other as every dish we had was spectacular, we went to Aqua Marina, Kao and Lemon fish and we enjoyed so much the attention given by the waiters and waitresses at each restaurant. Our maid MIRIAM was excellent she was prompt to replace all the towels and keep our room clean everyday. We requested a change of room at the middle of our room and the front desk rep was very nice, arranged the change and showed us the new room which we also loved. Those small details and attention make a big difference at the time of choosing a resort. PRAXEDES sent us the activities for each day in the mornings over Whatsapp which was very convenient. Also we had a last minute request for our anniversary and he made it happen. JOHN at the Reserve lounge and ANGELICA where great at helping us with the check in and check out paperwork. We also want to mention HIDELKIS the bellboy who assisted us with the bags, helped me look for something that was left on the previous room and transported us back and forth from Grand Cana to Melia Caribe for us to be able to go to all wedding and group activities. PRAXEDES also helped us contact a Real Estate agent to help us find a villa at Cocotal Golf. My husband enjoyed thoroughly playing golf at cocotal course. We went to MAIA Spa and got a 50 mins massage which was very well needed. We first went into the Turkish bath abd the steam room before taking a relaxing shower and going into the hydromassage pool. Our Masseurs DIVINA and JUANA did a great job, we loved the session from start to finish. The whole complex is beautiful. In general this resort is great, it's not right in front of the beach but we didnt feel like it was lacking since you get transportation straight to the beach from the lobby and the waterpark and every other ametities make up for it. Well maintained gardens and all buildings have beautifully designed interior finishes and everything is well cared for. Overall we can say that this was one of our best experiences ever at a resort and much of this is owed to the care and attention workers give you and you can tell they love their job and will do their best to make sure you feel good throughout your vacations. We are already planning our next visit to Paradisus Grand Cana!!!!

The entire area is struggling with COVID related supply chain issues. This is making many items ( food, beverage, services) unavailable or in short supply. Reduced staffing limited options for entertainment and dinning ( night club closed, casino closed, some restaurants and bars closed).

We had an excellent 10 days at the Grand Cana, customer service was top notch. They accomodated several special requirements we had for our toddler and our consierge Harold made sure we were taken cared of. Food was great as well. We will be coming back for sure.
