The room and bathroom were very clean, comfy pillows and beds, breakfast, tv and wifi included for an affordable price! The only bad thing was that the place is cold, but everything else just great! Definitely a place to stay if you are in a budget but you want something clean and nice.

we stayed in Terra for one night after our salt flats tour in a private double room.

We had read some previous reviews of things not being so great but it would appear that Terra care about their guests and read their reviews because when we stayed there everything we had read about had been fixed - we found the hostel to be fantastic we honestly don't have a bad thing to say, we had a wonderful and very restful stay.

The staff were friendly, the room was very clean, the beds were so comfy and the towels they provide so big and fluffy - perfect after a nice hot shower in the shared bathroom (just be sure to wear your flip flops because some water does escape out of the shower on to the floor)

The shared kitchen was very clean, and has a gas cook top, loads of utensils pots and pans and a spotlessly clean fridge.

The breakfast of bread, spreads, fresh cut fruit, yoghurt, puffed grain museli, tea and coffee was delicious and gave us a great energy before we had to catch the bus.

if you need a comfy restful stay after your salt flat tour and before heading deeper into Bolivia   we can really recommend giving Terra a go.

This is a very good budget hostel in Uyuni. They serve up a nice breakfast with great coffee AND the best breat weve had in a month of Peru and Bolivia!
They store luggage when you are on tour in SW Bolivia.

Getting a "fairly-sizeable" room with my own bathroom & a flatscreen TV for just 15 US$ a night, this is really the kind of place I wished I could have stayed for longer than just two days (while coming to do an "all-day" trip on the Salar); there's also a "bright & uncrowded" atmosphere of the interior of the building (except for the first floor where you check in which is like a mini-shopping mall) with a spacious corridor on each floor & a rooftop room for having breakfast. And also very conveniently right next door to this place (to the right after coming out then up the stairs) is a nice restaurant where you can get a good "filling meal" for just about 25 bolivianos or 4 US$ (although that place may be open only in the evening).

If coming from the area of the buses (where there are also a number of travel offices to conveniently book a salar tour), it's just about a 10-minute walk to this place by first heading for about 5 minutes to the area with a clock tower on the "main street" (which is like the city center with shops & restaurants and where I also found like a "street market" in the early morning on my arrival) then to the left for another 5 minutes where the building (of about 3 or 4 stories) for this place is just on the left side of the street.

Also, my many thanks are to the staff lady who let me check in very early in the morning (after arriving by overnight bus from La Paz at about 7 30 am) & have breakfast before going on my salar tour (an "all-day" one from like 10 am to 7 pm) and who also booked a taxi for me to leave very early in the morning two days later (for the bus at 5 30 am to San Pedro de Atacama) since it was still dark for a walk to the bus area at that time.

The two points are for the bed being OK and the place in general being clean. However, in every other aspect I was disappointed. It was cold in the whole building, the bathroom and showed reeked and the breakfast was small and basic. Also, my room looked onto the streets with no way of blocking the light of the lanterns. They do not provide you with a roomkey but with a lock that you can attach only from the outside. If inside, there is only a small hook to secure the door.

It was good enough for a night's sleep in Uyuni before my tour, but with the price you pay I had expected more.

Booked a room here last minute as we decided to visit the Salt Flats the next day. Perfect location near the bus station and tour agencies, but it is located above some sort of mall so reception a bit hard to find. Room was clean and very affordable for a private room. Good breakfast included, fruits, eggs, and toasts. We were very happy with our stay here.

Horrible, it's overcrowded, it's not clean, the bathrooms are in poor condition. Besides, you ask them for something and they treat you terrible. The only good thing is that there is no noise at night, however, it is not what is expected, and they even charge you for the Wi-Fi, considering that its condition is deplorable.
