Mr. Jhonny is a champion of an owner and cares for his guests. Atmosphere is pleasant and friendly. Breakfast is good and so are the music videos. Private room was a good deal~ hot shower, comfortable bed, tv and very comfortable chair as well as adequate charging and a window with fresh air! Thank you 👍🤠🙂

My partner and I stayed at this hostal for 2 nights - 1 before and 1 after the Uyuni 3 day salt flat tour. It was the perfect base with comfortable bed, hot water and a great breakfast. It is only a 5 minute walk into the centre where you can find all amenities. The owners are lovely and let us store a bag at the hostel as well as helped us sort buses to Sucre. I would stay here again!

Lovely lovely hosts :) made us feel so welcome. The room was cosy and warm and very comfortable. Good wifi too. Would recommend this hostel for sure :) The shower was a little tricky but once we got the hang of it, it was good :) There was no drinking water available but the owner very kindly offered us free bottled water.

We stayed 2 nights at the Hostal. The family was friendly and the breakfast was good with fresh juice, eggs, bread and cereal. Clean bathrooms but the toilets didn’t work that well. The room was very nice and clean. The Hostal is located close to the bus terminal. Very central.

This hostel is a hidden gem in a very touristic Uyuni. As there are always lots of tourists, the hostels in town do not really seem to care about making their guests happy. After having walked in few horrible hostels, we got so lucky to finally find Quinoa Dorada. The rooms are very clean, stylish, cozy and the whole house has a homy feeling. There is a beautiful rooftop to chill out and restaurant on the ground floor. Wifi is super fast and shower as hot as you like. However, at the end everything is about people and the energy they put into what they do. The staff ( maybe owners) and especially the lady who prepared the breakfast were super nice, friendly and caring. We got a freshly squeezed orange juice as a welcome drink and the breakfast was the best we had in South America - fresh fruit salad with bananas, pineapple, kiwi, papaya, yoghurt, fresh orange juice, tea, coffee, milk, warm bread, any kind of eggs, cereals and all this was served to us with a beautiful smile by asking us what kind of music we would like to listen while we are having breakfast. Absolutely amazing experience with lots of little extra steps that make difference.

By chance we ended up staying 2 nights in this hostel and were more than pleased. We stayed in a two bed private room for 250 bol (around 30 euro) per night total including breakfast. The room is clean, food is good and the staff very friendly. The hostel is 1 minute walking from the city centre.

We arrived in Uyuni after a long bus trip, in the rain and dark. We then had to walk through huge puddles and along muddy streets to get to the hostal, so not the best start. However, we had a very friendly welcome and were given a tray with tea and biscuits, which was much appreciated. The hostal is somewhat bizarre in that the ground floor looks like a shop, stacked high with merchandise. Our room was on the third floor but our luggage was carried up for us. Our main concern is the outside patio heaters used on each floor inside. Not an uncommon occurrence in Bolivia, but potential danger of carbon monoxide poisoning. Summary - fairly clean, beds comfortable, breakfast ok, cheap price.

Fantastic place to stay for a few days. The staff are super helpful, breakfast is great, and the rooms are comfortable. Located close to the bus terminal, markets, and tourist agencies, and the staff are happy to recommend the best agencies and how to get there.

I have been staying here for a week. I made a reservation for one night, and kept extending it. I do this when I find a place where I feel comfortable, welcome and at home. I walked into the room and it smelled naturally fresh and clean, and was full of light. It’s not huge but it’s ample. The bed is comfortable and laden with beautiful, handmade blankets which kept me plenty warm on some of the chillier nights. I never checked if the room is heated because I didn’t need to. The shower water was hot. Everything worked. The wifi is Good!! It’s fast and reliable. I downloaded several shows and movies to watch later, since I know I can’t take good wifi for granted in Bolivia. The staff prepare a generous breakfast for 30 BL/day (not included in the room price) that I elected to spring for every morning. It comes with a personal Mokka pot full of tasty, Bolivian coffee, a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice, pancakes, toast and jam, cereal with yogurt, and fresh fruit. I’m someone who values their morning time and a complete breakfast, and I started each day feeling full and fresh after this breakfast, followed by a hot shower. The staff were very accommodating and quite friendly. I kept changing my checkout date and they remained flexible. The hostel is about a five minute walk to the central market, where there is a promenade with lots of restaurants and cafes. If you would like to book a tour, they can put you in touch with some local agencies. I highly recommend Uyuni in general, and as the altitude and climate will probably sap some energy after a long day of viewing the myriad splendors of this region, it’s a good idea to choose Quinua Dorada as a place to recharge and prepare for another day of delightful sightseeing.
