My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights at Leiras do Tempo for the start of our trip to Portugal.
Bungalow: We lived in one of the bungalows, which appear from the outside in historical style, but are top modern renovated inside. This Bungalow exudes a very special flair and invites you to feel good. The cleanliness was also at the highest level.
Location: The complex is located on a peak and offers breathtaking views. The restaurant belonging to the complex can be used for lunch and dinner, especially here the view can be enjoyed during the meal. The location was also ideal for us, as starting points for hikes were reachable after a short drive of about 10min. (there are however also hikes that can be started without a car trip)
Hospitality & service: The owner couple takes care of everything that happens all around. Breakfast is prepared by the owner and by two nice staff and was a perfect start to the day for us. In the evening, the two also take care of well-being in the restaurant and always have an open ear. Dinner was ideally seasoned and perfectly prepared, whether fish or meat. The staff were all very attentive and extremely friendly. We felt very comfortable and welcome.
All in all a clear Recommendation on my part!

Located just outside the natural reserve parc Geres, you can find this quiet modern 5 star stay. We were looking for a calm place to unwind and we definitely found it.
The contrast between the rural city of Brufe where cows and horses walk around freely and the modern award winning architecture has really wowed us.
The modern lodges are Equipped with all the luxurious necessities to unwind.
We went hiking in the hills on a beautiful walk that starts directly at our chalet, went swimming in nearby natural pools, drove through the parc with the most amazing views and chilled at the pool.
The restaurant was excellent with local delicacies and home made dishes from the hosts.
It was a real pleasure meeting our hosts and to see how passionate they are about caring for their guests.
This place will forever be in our memories and we won’t hesitate to come back if we are in the region again !

These cottage conversions are luxurious and comfortable. They're set in the tiny mountain village of Brufe, close to the Peneda-Gerès National Park. We stayed just one night, but would have loved to be able to have stayed longer. There was a warm welcome and a super breakfast. The restaurant across the road, O Abocanhado, is very good, too.
