Staying at the Coach House it's us beautiful, clean the views are breath taking, everything you need is here it's a home from home. Down at the weir there's a pub called the Ship the food is lovely and a lovely little takeaway selling fish and chips and Chinese food...yummy. Will definitely come again amazing views and private parking. Highly recommended :)

We stayed in Quay Cottage, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, too. The cottage was really quirky, with odd things in odd places, strange but fun pictures on the walls, all very, very clean and overall well equipped. (A radio shaped like a fish, ancient models of Mickey and Minnie, loads to make you smile) Literally the only criticism is the lack of a shower upstairs, but I do feel a bit nit-picky mentioning it. Other than that, what can you say? Views of the sea or the harbour on three sides out of four, a lovely secluded garden with access straight to the beach, stacks of wildlife, including a couple of friendly bunnies, a great pub - The Bottom Ship - nearby, a small but very helpful shop that would get just about anything you asked for, provided you gave them a few hours, a chippie, a ladies clothes shop (I didn't bother, I couldn't be bothered to shave me legs, and anyway I look dreadful in dresses) and tons of peace and quiet. Took thousands of photos, sat in the sunshine, chatted with locals and drank a fairish bit of Zyder! Sounds good to me!

These comments relate specifically to The Coach House apartment. Stayed here before a few years ago in the winter months and this time did it in Spring. The coach house has room for 2 people since it is basically open from the kitchen up into the bedroom. Very nice space, clean and well decorated. Kitchen is well furnished with utensils as long as you don’t need anything too special. Wifi is decent and the windows have good views out over the bay. Porlock Wier is just below and 5 minutes walk. Only irritant is the large heavy gate, which seemed to require several attempts to get it to open anytime we used it – but a minor complaint when generally everything else is great with the accommodation, the grounds and the general setting.

Spent 4 nights here in nov, yes it was gloomy outside, but this is the perfect location for a get away no matter what the season. Communication with the business concerning payment and details of arrival were all very clear. House was clean and beautifully presented and had everything we needed! Amazing views!

Just returned from a long weekend stay in The Stable Block in Porlock Weir. This is our second stay, having been totally impressed with a stay earlier in the year, and indeed, we are due to return again before the end of the year. It is tucked away in a very quiet setting, yet just a 5 minute stroll from the harbour in porlock weir. The views are absolutely stunning, and you can look and listen to the sea rolling in, from the luxury bedroom with the French doors wide open. It really dosen't get any better. Everything has been thought of, from the welcome items such as wine, milk, fresh flowers, newspapers etc through to all the facilities which include washing machine, dish washer, full sky package, Roberts sound equipment, private parking, which is an absolute gem in this area, the list goes on and on. Everywhere is also spotlessly clean. We have stayed in lots of self catering apartments over the years, and this one is at the top without a doubt. The only downside for us was that it ended all to quickly.
