We were 6 children and 5 adults, so we needed to find somewhere to accommodate us all.
We couldn't have found a better place! From the moment we stepped in, everyone felt at home. Thank you for providing such a comfortable place. Everything we needed was there. Large fridge and freezer, dishwasher, pots and pans, glasses and crockery etc. Just like home.
The pool was the highlight of the holiday for the kids, and though somewhat pricey, it was money well spent for the enjoyment everybody got.
Sara was a great host, always available when we had questions.
The weather wasn't great but who cares, we enjoyed ourselves just the same.
A great asset was the big dining room table. We all fitted around it. Very special.
Beds were very comfortable too!
And we didn't have to take a plane to get home! It's a big plus these days.

Corn House and Plaish Park Farm Rules OK (Verdict of the little ones. :) )

I found this gem of a place on a Google search. My twins have been taking swimming lessons and really enjoy swimming so we wanted to treat them to some time away where they could relax and swim but in a private setting. This place was absolutely perfect and stunning. The whole booking process I found so easy. Sara from start to finish was so helpful, booked us in and gave us all the information we needed on the day too.

Everything about this place was georgous, the location, the views, and the infinity pool which was the best. The bubble setting in the pool is such a great feature and adds to the relaxation of this place, not to mention the warm relaxing mezzanine overlooking the beautiful views.
The towels were included to use, and they had robes too. The Spotify and WiFi was a big hit, we was able to play the frozen playlsit for the little ones ❄️ also perfect for the snowy weather we have had today in mid March.

Sara told us to take the little ones up to see the chickens and the pigs, they loved it.
I would come again and have recommended to all my friends and family. I sent photos to friends, family and colleagues who are all planning to book. This place is a gem, and I can not wait to book again and book one of the cottages next time.

Looking for a large house for a big family then look no further than the Corn House, everything you need for a family of all ages is here. Fully equipped kitchen, large eating areas inside and out to accommodate everyone, games room, tennis court an amazing pool that has to be seen to believe the attention to detail is worth the extra charge, the relaxation room, the gym, better value than an spa you will visit. For young and old the walk around the grounds will great you with memories from your youth, fresh eggs, friendly pigs and goats, rope swings, lakes and miles of fresh air.

The owners have transformed the original barn to a high standard, the annexe on the Corn House is delightful they have included everything you need to enjoy your stay is 5 star.

We were left utterly perplexed by our encounter with Sara and this company.

We made a simple private hire pool booking for our family two weeks in advance. Sara asked us to write to her in an email and a booking form would be sent over. Unfortunately we had no reply, a week later we chased the form and was told our booking had been confirmed and the form could be completed on arrival. Rules and sound system explained and suggested we book lunch at the local pub.

The day before we were due to arrive our car broke down, we had to be recovered. Whilst in the tow truck my husband called Sara explaining what had happened. Our four children understandably were upset as we had been on our way for a holiday.

An hour later once we had a better idea of what was happening with the car we called to update Sara that we would arrive for our pool booking the next day. She said everything was fine and she confirmed someone would meet us at 11am on arrival.

Later that Sunday evening at 23:16 we received a text from Sara informing us that the pool was now fully booked! We knew our four children would be further upset with the initial cancellation of our holiday and now the pool….
She offered a booking the following day for Tuesday so we said we would like to accept this. You can imagine our surprise when Sara messaged back advising we book at Wenlock leisure centre instead and implying that this complex is in fact better!

In a brief email from Sara afterwards she states that we were warned that should the holiday cottages book the pool then they take priority. This is completely understandable however this was NOT explained at the time of booking. Had it been explained we would have chosen not to book on this occasion or kept the pool as a surprise not to disappoint our young children.

This poor excuse also doesn’t explain why after offering an alternative slot on Tuesday it was also later retracted?! By Monday 10.34 this alternative slot was taken away as an option. As I say we were left totally perplexed.

During these difficult times it is very disappointing and further impacts on young children to have no empathy or flexibility.
It’s a real shame the accommodation looks beautiful however with such poor customer service we cannot recommend. Additionally a very unreliable way to run a business.

we stayed in Turnip House which is a fabulous property with a stunning view. Perfect for two families with 4 kids and a dog. lots of entertainment for young and old and in a rural setting that is still so close to Church Stretton and Shrewsbury. We will definitely be back and had the most wonderful time. Everyone was super helpful when we had questions, and I could sit and watch the sun set from the living room every day!!

What a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in Turnip House (family of 4, with two boys aged 10). The house is well equipped and includes loads of games and books.

The site itself is a wonderful playground for children to have freedom in a safe environment. The boys enjoyed collecting eggs in the morning, feeding pigs and horses, playing on go karts but most of all playing with the adorable sheepdogs, Floss and Pip. We had games of pool most nights and used the pool/gym once on a rainy day (extra charge for this).

The farm itself is fairly remote so we self catered most of time. Also had nice meals at Royal Oak in Cardington and George and Dragon in Much Wenlock.

We cycled the 7mile loop round the farm, shopped in Shrewsbury, visitor centre at Craven Arms, drove over Long Mynd, cycled in Hopton Woods, Segway and quad biking at The Edge in Much Wenlock, visited West Midlands Safari Park and evening though it was wet all week we ran out of days to do all the things we would have liked!

Lovely friendly owners, we will be back!

What an amazing farm location with beautiful walks on their land and within their local vicinity. We stayed at Turnip House, which was extremely comfortable and relaxing. Plenty of space, books to read, and much more. The children loved: feeding the animals; going to the spa and gym; using the go- karts, tennis court and two game rooms; all of these activities, were a bonus. There are fantastic local walks nearby and local towns and villages to visit for various reasons. Sara, the owner, is very kind and helpful. She is always happy to help and share advice about the local area. We'd love to revisit. Thank you Sara.

We stayed at the Olde Cow House for a week in September 2021. We were a party of eight adults and one child with ages ranging from 73 to 18 months. The house has been lovingly restored to a high standard, we found it to be very clean on arrival with a definite wow factor and to be very well equipped.

I contacted Sarah prior to our visit to ask a couple of questions about the area and received a reply to my questions quickly. Sarah also gave us helpful advice when we arrived about places to visit and things to do in the locality which we found useful. As a result I was able to order groceries through Sainsbury's home delivery service which worked really well and understand Tesco or Asda will also deliver to the farm if preferred. Additionally we ordered a takeaway to collect from the Jaipur Lounge approximately 8 miles away in Church Stretton, it was still hot when we got back to the farm and everyone enjoyed it. Similarly, we ate out at the Raglith Arms in Little Stretton which was also good.

A big hit with the toddler in the party was the toy tractors, sand pit and baby swing which he played on for hours. During the week we fed the animals, collected eggs, played tennis, walked on the 2 mile path around the farm, used the games room and the spa facilities. It was a great family break and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Our friend had booked this through a 3rd party but it would be best to deal with Sara and the team directly, you get so much help and info. For the 11 of of us this was wonderful with the 2 properties being joined and enough doubles, twins, en-suites, a large Knight of the Realm dining table and the use of 2 kitchens for making large dinners. Beds are comfortable with great linen and all is extremely clean! You need to take your own your bath towels but no biggie! The setting is incredible, very remote, peaceful, pitch black no light pollution and an array of animal noises that are missed if you are townies! The spa and gym is great. Gill is wonderful on the treatments and the pool area divine! A lovely collie that loves to play football appears too! Our friend's dog settled in nicely too! Will definitely be back, the last few miles are single track but stunning and Shrewsbury is about 30 mins away and Church Stretton 15 minutes. Japuir Indian wonderful, but don't deliver! Some amazing walks and the games rooms are great. It really is a retreat to stay at, get your online shop, park up and have a few days of relaxing and not going any where! A top find as always by our friend but definitely book directly! Sarah can't help enough! We were lucky with weather and sat in the sun on the lovely patio and comfy garden furniture on the Sunday in November! Safe if you have young children, didn't see other barns, ours had a few shallow steps so good to speak to Sarah about disability access at other properties. Enjoy!

A little late writing my review been home a week. Just to say what a wonderful time we have had on our family reunion holiday ages from 4 to 60+ . The facilities were fantastic, a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, plenty of space and entertainment for the children. Walks and fun in the games rooms, even a piano for a sing song. My son even had an early morning dip in the pond after a run!

The infinity pool was expensive but the children and adults loved it, we did get a reduction on our third visit of the week.

My daughter booked it for the family and it could not have been better.🌟❤️
