I was at Federico II with my family and some friends during the August holidays.
Let me start by saying that it had been recommended to us by other friends who had already been there several times and had enjoyed it very much so we said why not let's try it.
As far as I'm concerned the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very large and very clean and the spa is very beautiful.
for the mid-August holiday there was obviously an organized evening with music in the swimming pool, we had fun, of course, as we know, these are confusing days where there are always mistakes, also because there were so many of us.
I personally am not someone who eats a lot and I don't like complicated things but what can I say in those days I really ate everything given the goodness especially the sfincionelli that were served to us I had an encore of them, I also really appreciated the salmon cheesecake.
What can I say, we ate well, compliments to the kitchen and the guys in the dining room who satisfied us on various occasions.
Overall we had a really good time and we had a lot of fun, we can't complain, certainly they are special days so we were very lucky.
One thing is certain, we will also return with our friends who recommended it.

Located in an expansion area in Enna Bassa, the hotel is a few kilometers from the historic center of Enna. The building, modern and imposing, is isolated, in the middle of a large space in which there is a solarium and outdoor pool, gardens and a large parking area. The exterior is pleasant, in classic Mediterranean style: the lobby is very spacious and well furnished, the welcome courteous and professional
Superb their spa, with a beautiful salt water hot pool, Hammam, sauna, relaxation air, and a gym.
Unfortunately, the room at our disposal, was a disappointment, because it was not soundproofed by the noises of the exhaust pipes inside.
The fact that we were in the Residence area, does not justify, a 4-star hotel must absolutely ensure peace.
Inadequate breakfast, not at all assorted, we had to settle for what the very good waitress proposed.
We paid for breakfast when booking months ago, so really a serious matter.
More importance is given to groups, events, than to passing customers or even tourists.
Value for money incongruent

Review in order to an experience for two people for the wellness path.

Positive aspects:
- Well heated;
- Kind collaborator;
- Excellent swimming pool;
- Excellent Turkish bath;
- Excellent sauna;
- Excellent emotional showers;
- Relax area herbal teas excellent;
- Clean cabinet;
- Supply of slippers that you can take home with you after the route and bathrobe to leave there;
- Comfortable and robust deckchairs;

Negative aspects:
- Unsalted swimming pool as in the site description;
- Road completely bumpy and full of holes in the driveway to get there;
- Cleaning floor dressing room missing;
- Bathroom door do not close them;
- Changing room showers only one, so if you are more men you will have to wait your turn to wash or to go to the bathroom;
- Changing room too narrow;
- Hotel hair dryer too small to dry;
- Missing cleaning of grades where the pool water ends, visible you see dirt, mold, hair...
- Lacking a light in the emotional showers;

Bad experience. Swimming pool not reserved for hotel guests. If you find a place arriving on time you are in luck, otherwise you have no security that there are beds for those staying at the hotel. When I mentioned it at reception, they shrugged. I asked to be able to use at least half an hour more at the spa (which I had already paid for in the reservation for the scheduled time and enjoyed 90 minutes) but I was told no. The lifeguard was young, inexperienced and uneducated. He replied by calling me you that he could not take people off the sunbeds and that I could settle on the lawn but those who go to 4 stars with the pool must know that the pool does not privilege the guests of the structure but only those who arrive first. Very warm and dated room. Poor quality breakfast.

Terrible stop at the hotel, practically lost in nowhere, on the edge of a modern neighborhood at the foot of Enna. A huge company of guests, made up of families with children, went crazy with shouting and singing well after midnight, leaving screaming children running around in the corridors. My room, then, bordered right on a room where a children's party was being held. Tables moved and shouting until almost one in the morning. I called the concierge several times to no avail. In the morning, faced with my complaints for having assigned me a room that would inevitably have been disturbed, they replied that they couldn't do otherwise, because they would have to keep half the hotel empty!
Bad service even at the table. For dinner we were a group of about 25 people, with a pre-established menu and we were served half an hour late. For breakfast, I asked for orange juice: they brought me the whole fruit, because I can't make juice!!
I often accompany groups on trips to Sicily, but they will certainly never see me again in this hotel.

I was a guest of the Federico II Palace Hotel on the occasion of an event that took place in Enna. I didn't imagine having such a large room, with a small balcony, a walk-in closet and a huge bathroom. I took advantage of the international breakfast, with very fresh products, and dinner. The staff is very courteous and approachable; the hotel is super clean and has a relaxing atmosphere.
The only flaw: the structure is located decentralized from everything. To reach it, a car is required. It would be excellent if the municipality placed a bus stop near the hotel, allowing tourists to move freely without necessarily having to use the paid taxi or shuttle service.

Having been there for a retreat I have nothing to say. The food was delicious, the rooms were very welcoming, the swimming pool and outdoor spaces were excellent and well managed, as was the wellness area. I don't put a "5 🎾" because I heard some complaints among diners referring to some waiters but personally I can say that the reception was ok and the dining room staff, at least those I spoke to, were very competent and polite. The bar area is well managed by the girl and the waiter Angelo is good. Good choice of wines. The cleanliness could be improved a little even if the staff was very courteous. However recommended for a totally relaxing holiday.

We booked 3 rooms to spend a relaxing August holiday with the family, we had already been there in previous years, this year was a nightmare. Neglected and dirty rooms, but what really disappointed us was the restaurant service and the food. Terrible organization in the dining room, 4 hours to serve all the courses, really poor quality food (we advise the chef to change profession since such an ugly and poor menu is no longer seen in low level canteens). It is truly a shame to see the collapse of a structure that has always left us satisfied in past years.

Largest hotel in Enna in the lower part near the Kore, the commercial part and the hospital. The conference rooms are excellent, the largest equipped with an LED screen, the rooms are large with excellent acoustic and thermal comfort. Excellent catering and continental and sweet breakfast with a wide choice. Prepared and courteous

The hotel itself is beautiful. The room we had was spacious and elegantly appointed. The are only two possible complaints. One is the size of the shower. Given the large bathroom size and tile finish the plastic shower was puzzling. The other issue was the size and location of the television but this is minor. The staff was fantastic except for one. But Christina Bellomo, Lucia at the restaurant and the woman at the spa were pleasant, charming, and very helpful. The location is in a beautiful valley. It reminded us of the location of the Phoenician Hotel in Scottsdsle Arizona
