The Premier Inn Dublin Airport hotel garners praise from guests for its immaculate rooms and welcoming atmosphere, contributing to a comfortable stay. The hotel's location is lauded for its convenience to the airport and public transportation. While the hotel's services are deemed good value overall, some travelers have felt inconvenienced by additional charges for parking and early check-in. Although the staff receives mixed reviews, the amenities, including the efficient shuttle and breakfast options, are generally well-regarded, despite occasional WiFi complaints.

I had never heard of this chain before but I’d use them anytime. Maybe next time in the city center. We wanted to be near the airport so we could make an early flight. Everything about this hotel was great. First, the shuttle helped a lot. It runs on time and every 30 minutes from early morning to late night for a small fee. We were also able to easily catch a bus around the corner to take us to the city center. It’s about a 45 minute ride but the bus was a very nice, double decker. We had no problems taking it at midnight to return to the hotel. This saved us car rental fees or taxi fares. Across the street is a big shopping mall, which we did not check out. The rooms are nice with lighted makeup/hair drying mirrors outside of the bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. I wish we had more time to spend in the lobby, it looked like a nice place to hang out. The breakfast was very good, for a buffet. You can get the full Irish breakfast as well as pastries, cereal, pancakes, yogurt and fruit. If visiting Dublin, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here. If we didn’t need to be near the airport, I’d try the Premiere Inn at the city center. We rented a car and toured the country, then drove to the hotel, dropped our bags, returned the car and took the shuttle back.

We stay here anytime we're flying out of Dublin Airport because it's much cheaper than the Maldron or Radisson hotels which are in the airport. There's a small €3 per person charge for the shuttle bus to the hotel. It's a typical Premier Inn with the usual facilities and an emphasis on ensuring that you have a good night's sleep. There is a good walk-in shower with a reasonably non-slip surface, although mats are available if requested. Last year when we stayed here, they were in the middle of a renovation project. This seems to be completed. Highly recommended, as usual.

Usual great standard and value of Premier Inn. Room & en suite spotless, very quiet, kettle/tea/ coffee, air con easily adjusted or switched off, had a great night's sleep. Good value all you can eat cooked breakfast. Friendly staff at Reception and in dining room. Shuttle bus every 30 mins to the terminals doors.

My son & I stayed here for a couple of nights recently and were pleased with the overall experience. We took the 3€ shuttle for Bus stop 16 at the international airport and were soon at the reception area. The guy there checked us in quickly with the minimum of fuss. He gave us Room 340 right at the end of the corridor overlooking the shopping mall on the other side of the street.

The room comprised one double bed and two reasonably sized singles. The set up was pretty standard conforming to the Premier Inns style. I was disappointed to find no fridge nor safe but there was a kettle and sachets of tea and coffee. The separate bathroom included a shower in the bath tub. The free WiFi was weak but you can pay a fee for an upgrade to faster internet connectivity. We didn't bother.

There was no free breakfast so we left the hotel fairly early each morning and took the Swords Express bus into the city centre and had our breakfast there. The bus stop for that, by the way, is just across the road from the hotel.

Fr a couple of nights this place was OK. The location was good for the airport and, luckily, given the good public transport system we could get into Dublin fairly easily. All good!

The hotel was convenient for my business trip hence why I stayed there however upon reflection I may have had a better experience elsewhere.
The rooms are fairly quiet however the charge for parking for guests is not very appropriate especially if you are registered as a guest.

Reception staff are polite and helpful and most of the time very courteous however they are let down by certain breakfast staff individuals who appear to think being asked for clean crockery amounts to asking them to go down a coal mine!

The same individual huffed and muttered when asked for a clean cup who then decided to throw dirty plates etc loudly about purely because she was so important and should not be inconvenienced.

First impressions are lasting impressions.

Been staying at this location for many of years now,how times have changed no self service check in , they have also taken phones away in room and if there was an emergency or medical incident and couldn't get your mobile? PARKING €15 per night is madness it used to be free and if your staying more than one night like myself it does add up. Pillows on bed old and flat needs replacing said all this to reception and lets hope it changes

We were not expecting any airport hotel to be particularly great but the Premier Inn ticked all the boxes. Modern, clean interior; friendly, efficient check in; across the road from a shopping centre; vending machines onsite, complimentary tea and coffee refills, fair value restaurant that was atmospheric and looked inviting. The room was warm, comfortable, well lit, and well equipped with strong WiFi, powerful shower, controllable room temp , and a clean and comfortable bed. Carpeting in the corridor and good soundproofing - we slept like logs, which we had not expected to do to b honest. We would consider eating in the restaurant next time as the combo package of breakfast and dinner with a drink looked good value. Would highly recommend for a short stay.....or longer as u can get a bus into the city centre from Swords town or the airport. Well done Premier Inn! Great value for money offering more than expected, thank you.

We chose this hotel for a night between two flights.
Convenient: There is a shuttle bus between the airport and the hotel that runs almost every half hour from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m., costing EUR 2.50 per person per trip. When the bus driver didn't show up when we left in the morning, the hotel automatically ordered free taxis for us, very good service!
There is little of tourist interest in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, the hotel is in an industrial area, opposite a huge hardware store center. There are a few restaurants, all of which close relatively early, and a 24-hour gas station.
The rooms are a normal hotel size. The bed is very comfortable. There are normal and USB sockets right next to the bed.
The room can be completely darkened and is absolutely quiet at night, only occasionally can you hear quiet noises from the hallway.
The air conditioning can be adjusted extremely finely and cooled the room down to a draft-free level within a few minutes.
The room and bathroom were extremely clean, all furniture and fittings in good condition.

I stayed at Premier Inn Swords before our flight out of Dublin to London the next day and was impressed from start to finish. Firstly unfortunately when our flight arrived the courtesy hotel bus wasn’t running so we jumped in a taxi to the hotel which cost around 12 euro which seemed a fair price for the 10 minute journey for 2 people and 2 cases. On arrival the Premier Inn was modern and had friendly reception staff who checked us in with no issue. Our room was on the ground floor and was also very modern with plenty of power sockets, complimentary tea and coffee and a good sized TV. The room temperature itself was very good as was the size of bed and the room.

We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but instead took a walk into the town of Swords where we went to a wonderful Irish Pub called The Old Schoolhouse. Highly Recommend and only about 20 minute walk from the hotel.
In the morning we were leaving the hotel at 730am but happy to find out that breakfast was served from 0530. We went down around 6am and it was quiet with all the normal high quality foods that you expect from a Premier Inn. There was also good quality tea and coffee available. We got the courtesy bus to the airport which cost 3 euro each which was fair and didn’t take more than 10 minutes. The bus ran every 30 minutes and dropped us right outside the terminal.
Overall when I next fly out of Dublin I will be sure to stay at this hotel again, It is much cheaper than some of the big brands and also gives you the option to go into the town in the evening.

I have attached the complimentary bus timetable too incase anyone is heading to the airport

Really amazing hotel. The receptionist checked us in quickly as we had a grumpy toddler and gave us perfect instructions on how to get to our room. The room itself was spacious with a great layout and was lovely and clean. The beds were really comfy including the pull out bed. The hotel is right beside a busy road and we were on the ground floor but we couldn’t hear any traffic noise. We payed for the breakfast and the childrens were free. The breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice including hot and cold food. Overall it was a fantastic hotel, even with paying €15 for parking the price was far cheaper than we expected.

Yes the shuttle bus has a starting time in the morning and an end time in the morning. You can check the Hotel's faqs, but i report here the relative answer: Dublin Airport Premier Inn operate a shuttle bus service every half hour between the airport and the hotel from 4.15am to 11pm. The bus leaves from the airport coach park (zone 16) on the hour and half hour, and returns from the hotel at quarter past and quarter to the hour. Please note the bus does not run at 9.15am, 9.30am, 6.45pm, 7pm to allow for driver breaks. The shuttle services costs €2.50.

No, but make sure you know where to pick up the shuttle from the airport as it is very confusing if you haven't been there before.
