Detailed Reviews
I had booked Tirconaill B&B for about 3 weeks and it was pleasure staying there.
The location is very close from airport and the Pavilion Shopping Centre is just across the street. Pubs, Pizza, restaurants, takeaways and Main street are all within walking distance. If you want to travel to city just hop on to the sword express for which the bus stand is just 100 mts away from the main door. Patricia is a lovely host and rooms were big, clean and tidy.
Overall a Great place to stay!!!

Fabulous Accommodation and Patricia the host couldn’t have been more helpful. She informed us of buses into the city and booked a taxi for us to the airport. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and very quiet area which allows a great nights sleep

Best place to go after arriving at Dublin Airport -
a 12 minutes drive takes you to the B&B in the town centre of Swords. Huge shopping mall just across the road; pubs, restaurants & bars within short walking distance. Warm welcome, lovely host, clean rooms. Host doesn't offer breakfast anymore, but there are several options available nearby already early in the morning, so this is no issue at all. Our holidays always start when we enter Tirconnaill and are welcomed by Patricia.

We have stayed a few weeks/months at this b&b due to work, the rooms are very small and very dated. I had breakfast one morning and it wasn’t good at all so never got it again. The host Patricia is very sharp and forward. I would not recommend this b&b at all

PROS:
Very close to Dublin Airport
Within walking distance of many restaurants and pubs
Close to Malahide
Across the street from Pavilions Shopping Center
Friendly service
Great wifi
Very clean
CONS:
No sitting room/common area
Tough to control room temperature
Small living space
No direct booking with host
No direct communication with host prior to stay
No credit card service
I came here with my grandparents to end a 2 week long European vacation. We stayed for 2 nights in a very small attic room on the top floor. The space for 3 beds and a bathroom was smaller than my college dorm room. We were a bit too close for comfort once our suitcases were put in the room. Our stay was in May, so it was beginning to heat up. The top floor got quite warm. We had to pay in cash, but this was specified in advance. However, this might not sit well with everyone. There are also fees to use the booking service online, as you cannot book straight through Tirconaill. We had trouble communicating with the host, as there was no direct way to communicate with her, and this led to some complications concerning the date of our stay. The biggest problem with this B&B for me was the lack of a sitting space/common area. I tried to make a phone call back to the states around 9:30 PM local time, and my only choice was to go outside to speak so I wouldn't disturb any guests. This was very inconvenient for me, and not at all what I expected with a B&B. Overall, the space was just a bit too small. The only time we were allowed to use a common area was when breakfast was served from 8-10. You must vacate your room by 10:30.
There are great places to eat and drink nearby, the taxi service Tirconaill uses is wonderful, it is easy to use public transportation, and it is a safe space. The breakfast we had was lovely. The space is immaculately clean, and Patricia (the host) is a very kind and knowledgeable woman. They have great recommendations on what to do in the area and how to make the most of your time in the region of Greater Dublin. Patricia recommended we use our one full day to see Malahide, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stayed here for 1 night before our morning flight home the next day. It was well located and very walkable to many different things. It was an easy drive to the airport too.
When we arrived the host, Patricia, was friendly and had some suggestions on dining. She wanted payment right then also. We had a couple of questions a little bit after she checked us in and also after dinner so we knocked on her private door. She answered but didn't seem to be too willing to chat much.
It was a nice place to stay pre-flight.

We had an early flight out of Dublin and this was a wonderful place to stay. The owner, Patricia, is a wonderful woman who was very helpful. We were lucky enough to get the last room that evening. The room was clean and comfortable. Patricia gave us a wonderful recommendation for dinner and drinks that was a short walk from the house. Breakfast the next morning was very good. The airport is a straight shot down the road maybe 10 minutes away. I would strongly recommend Tirconaill B&B.

We came for a short stay over catching an early flight next morning, everything very well prepared in the room with fans to use during the hot night and some chocolate, really appreciated by our young son. Very close to shopping center and easy access to the airport just a short drive from the B&B. Patricia recommended the pub "The Old School House" with fabulous food and nice atmosphere. Would really recommend for everyone visiting Dublin or arriving late/leaving early with a flight.

We arrived at the B&B early {8.30am} and asked if we could leave our bags there , It wasn't a problem. We went back at dinner time and was shown to our room. IT was clean and had everything we needed for a 3 day stay , all rooms en suite , not large but big enough,The breakfast was lovely , lots to choose from. We will be back soon, and highly recommend this B&B. Thank you Patricia, very welcoming .

Patricia was friendly, very helpful and recommended Vittoria on the Walk. Great and reasonable pub. Excellent full Irish breakfast the next morning. Can't go wrong staying here for one night or several
