Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Be aware that you can not expect to find parking in the evening here, and may have to pay for parking nearby.
We really enjoyed our room, but our experience could have been much better if there were at least one parking spot held open for hotel loading/unloading. The parking is insufficient in general, but when you are bringing bags in and out, it's especially helpful to be able to set down right in front of the hotel.

I like the atmosphere in the town centre much better than your typical airport hotel. Unfortunately the lack of parking is really something that would keep me from coming again on my next trip.

We stayed for a week as we were celebrating my wife’s big birthday in the area, where she used to live and still has family and friends. We also had about another 9 rooms booked for our friends who came over for the weekend.
Our room was excellent, some of the others had a bigger bed, but we had enough room, a good sized bathroom, with a large walk in shower. Tea making facilities and even an iron.
Check in was a bit slow but the staff were all very friendly.
A couple of the other rooms were not ideal, one had a ventilator fan outside of the window running 24 hours a day. Another overlooked a club at the back of the hotel. The club is open to 2.30 am in the weekends, therefore is very noisy. We were able to swap that room to a younger member of our group who was likely to be at the club do was not affected.
We used the bar downstairs quite a bit. The breakfasts are good value for money and good for the price. We had snacks and dinner in the evening a couple if times, again good for the price. The drinks are very well priced.
The hotel is perfectly located, in the middle of Swords, with its great bars, restaurants and shopping centre. It is close to the airport and easy access by bus into Dublin centre.
To summarise. This is a great hotel, room dependent. We looked at booking again for Christmas but they were about three times the cost so we have booked elsewhere.

I'm a regular at this place and sometimes they have unbelievable value.

For eg the Manager's special last week was a Sirloin Steak with all the trimmings for €4!

And it was delicious!

Today they had a Chicken Tika for a fiver but unfortunately you could bounce the chicken off a wall it was so underdone. The chips were undercooked too. However the sauce was delicious.

Overall this is a great place with fantastic staff. The Chef clearly knows what he's doing, he just needs a bit more consistency.

Excellent overnight stay on a Monday night. Easy check in lovely clean spacious room. Comfy bed, air con in the room.Friendly staff. Great value. Parked the car at Q park, St Stephen's Green and walked to the hotel about 10mins. Parking card validated on check out with a heavy discount on standard rate. Breakfast in Wetherspoons bar for 5 Euro, best value in the city. Would stay again.

The food was very small portions and totally fleecing me of my hard earned money for a poor tasting small burger which has no bearing of American burger !!! So if you want to drink fine but don’t bother food !!! I think the chef must of run out of food to feed the rest of customers to the pub?!!

I checked in late after a long day’s trip. And it was only after unpacking, washing and getting into bed that I realized the room was… windowless! A very first for me, and I’m quite a traveler. Oh dear. I suffer from claustrophobia, so that’s just not possible. I dressed and went to talk to the manager. He said they were fully booked. I told him I’ll check for an other place. But near the airport, at that time, I found nothing available. So I decided to give it a try. At 4 am I woke up in sweat. And couldn’t sleep the rest of the night because I had to keep the door ajar and was afraid someone would enter. I have 2 questions I’m asking here as I got no answer to them after writing 3 emails: a) how can a hotel offer windowless rooms (at a full rate!!!)?; b) why wasn’t I told right away when I checked in? Breakfast was offered as compensation, but for all the trouble that seemed rather stingy ? I asked for a full refund, but was turned down. Ah, and there were full laundry bags in the room (!)

Very nice traditional establishment with rest/pub in same building as hotel..loved the atmosphere & friendly staff. SO convenient if have an early morning flight(& swords has all you need). The lady in the rest called a taxi for us(9am) & he was there in 3 min! & we arrived to AP in about 5-10 min (11.60€). The room ac was individually controlled & worked great! We arrived on a flight the night before our am flight back to the us & since it was 9:30pm, I stopped at the wrights food conv store before ap exit to buy some food & wine. Surprisingly, the hotel pub was open until 00:30(last call) & kitchen open til 11pm & their prices were super cheap!!!!(ex: g&t 3.60€, 6% pints 2.70€).this is a popular place with locals too & WiFi worked great! My husband even loved the place & wants to fly in & out of Dublin for future EU trips because of how much he liked this place!

When you first arrive we had to check in with the restaurant downstairs. Then roll your luggage pass the pub/restaurant customer's,Take a small, slow elevator and up to your floor.
The room was clean but lacked many things. First the bathroom has a tub that your have to climb about 2 feet to get into..lol.
The room is very small but it's exceptable. The bed was hard, pillows were soft.
There's a skylight directly above the bed and you can see the edge of the roof,no privacy.
There's a mirror window that scary and had to cover.

Hotel is OK, but food is a disaster, even for pub food lowest standards. Menu is really basic, some proposed dishes are not available. I had a sirloin steak that was the proverbial sole and my wife a chicken breast burger that was cold and stiff. Sides were rather tasteless. Lot of tables, but as they clean them not too often (and with little enthusiasm) the effective free places are few, some in really somber areas. Service is slow and unempathic.

Overall a great stay in a spacious and modern room that was close by to all the amenities. Great value for money.

However, the hotel could benefit from having a separate entrance to the hotel, as checking in/entering the hotel via the pub could sometimes be intimidating due to the rowdy crowds outside and the bouncers stopping you at the door.

Upon departure, I did get the checkout time confused - which was my fault for not checking. The staff/management, I felt, were quite rude with me about this and even startled me upon exiting my room by exclaiming "we thought you were dead!" Despite only been 30 mins late checking out.

A great stay though despite the above.
