If you wanted to go to Dublin city, you could take the bus but it was a 30min drive with the express bus (even 50min with normal Dubliner bus), quit long if you planned 2 days in Dublin.
Next to this we were placed in a room that was recently painted (with receny I mean in the week before) and the smell of the paint was still in the room, not pleasant to sleep in. The owners apologized for this inconvenience but they could only give us another room the day after so we moved to the other room for our second night.
The rooms really could use a renewal because the furniture was quit old, but they were working on it.
For the rest the owners were very friendly and gave us a good breakfast.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights, non-consecutive as they were booked for the middle night. They let us check in a little bit early and drew us a map to Malahide since we mentioned wanting to see the castle.
The breakfast was great and the location can't be beat. Dublin city center has very few B&B's that accept vouchers, so, this is a good location for quick access to the city sights. We had an early flight out (5am) on the last night, but, Catherine made sure the dining room was stocked with drinks and cereal in case we wanted breakfast before we left.
Water pressure and temp in the shower was great.
Dublin area B&B's book up fast, so, call in advance.
The landlady was very friendly and gave myself and my husband a lift to the restaurant.
The room was great and the bed comfy. We had a full Irish breakfast in the morning and the landlady helped us find a cheap taxi to the city :)
I would definitely recommend Riversdale B&B, and would stay again should we be fortunate enough to return to Ireland.

"- In the Irish summers, make sure the room has window darkening blinds or curtains. - Early risers use east rooms; night owls use west rooms, if you have a choice."Read full review
