Riversdale was our last destination of our honeymoon through Ireland. Our intention was to finalize our holiday with a city trip to Dublin but this B&B was not really suitable for this. It is a good location for when you need to take an early flight homewards, because it is only a 15min drive by car but not for a city trip (it was selected by our travel agent, probably because it is close to the airport).
If you wanted to go to Dublin city, you could take the bus but it was a 30min drive with the express bus (even 50min with normal Dubliner bus), quit long if you planned 2 days in Dublin.

Next to this we were placed in a room that was recently painted (with receny I mean in the week before) and the smell of the paint was still in the room, not pleasant to sleep in. The owners apologized for this inconvenience but they could only give us another room the day after so we moved to the other room for our second night.
The rooms really could use a renewal because the furniture was quit old, but they were working on it.

For the rest the owners were very friendly and gave us a good breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay immensely; Michael & Catherine were excellent hosts. Riversdale is a ten minute walk to Swords town center but feels more like the countryside, in convenient proximity to the airport, the motorway and public transportation. Michael’s full Irish breakfast was a delicious start to Monday morning.

I had stayed here on a previous trip since it's a great location - near Dublin and the airport. I gave it a good review before so figured it was a safe bet.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights, non-consecutive as they were booked for the middle night. They let us check in a little bit early and drew us a map to Malahide since we mentioned wanting to see the castle.

The breakfast was great and the location can't be beat. Dublin city center has very few B&B's that accept vouchers, so, this is a good location for quick access to the city sights. We had an early flight out (5am) on the last night, but, Catherine made sure the dining room was stocked with drinks and cereal in case we wanted breakfast before we left.

Water pressure and temp in the shower was great.

Dublin area B&B's book up fast, so, call in advance.

Stayed here with my son for the night, close to airport, great breakfast, some of the best brown bread in Ireland. Beds were comfy and shower first class. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this B&B.

Me and my aunt went to Ireland for 5 days. We rent a car at the dublin airport and drove to our little B&B. It wasn't hard to find, and so we arrived a quarter hour later. we were friendly welcomed by Michael and he showed us our room. We asked Michael also for some tipps, where we could go this afternoon. He told us where we could go and how to get there. Swords is a really cute little village. The next two days we went to Ravensdale, near Dundalk, horsebackriding. It was just perfect! We had about an hour to the stables. Every morning we got a delicious breakfast. This little B&B was perfect for our stay. They also have a garden where you can enjoy the sun of the end of the day. Unfortunatly I'm allergic against dust.. I had some troubles to stay in the room, or sleep there. But they were very nice and I enjoyed it a lot:)

We actually stayed here twice at the beginning and end of our trip to Ireland as it is just miles from the Dublin airport. That being said, you would not know it as it is in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. There is a walking path across the road. Our room was large and en suite. The hosts are wonderful and Catherine cooks a full Irish breakfast to order. Highly recommend.

We arrived on an evening flight so didn't want to travel straight to the city. We had pre arranged with the old school house for a valentines meal ( which by the way you have to visit! amazing food)
The landlady was very friendly and gave myself and my husband a lift to the restaurant.
The room was great and the bed comfy. We had a full Irish breakfast in the morning and the landlady helped us find a cheap taxi to the city :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Riversdale B & B. Catherine & Michael were so kind and helpful, and made us feel right at home. The Irish Breakfast was delicious and hearty -a great way to start the day! We spent our first two nights and our last night at Riversdale, and really appreciated the proximity to the airport and to Dublin City.
I would definitely recommend Riversdale B&B, and would stay again should we be fortunate enough to return to Ireland.

Conveniently located near the Dublin Airport, this charming B&B and it's gracious, helpful hosts made our trip to Ireland a wonderful experience! Catherine and Michael were so kind and friendly, and Michael even drew us a map to get to the Swords Express, which is an excellent part of the public transportation system in Dublin (it was about a 10 minute, scenic walk to the bus stop from Riversdale, and then a 20-25 minute bus ride into Dublin City Centre from there). The village of Swords is also a quaint stop on your journey - be sure to check out the ruin of Swords Castle, built as the manorial residence of the first Anglo-Norman Archbishop of Dublin, John Comyn, around 1200 AD or a little later. As for the setting of the Riversdale B&B, think classic, quiet, Irish countryside, with all the bustling sounds of nature on a summer morning. We often slept with our windows cracked open, so we could be awakened by the birds. There is also a lovely little creek nearby with trail, and my traveling buddy took an early morning jog and said it was breathtaking. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat, if given the opportunity! Such a great place!
