If you want authentic Italy away from tourist areas, this is where you need to stay. Abruzzo is Italy’s hidden gem and Sant’ Eufemia is a lovey, friendly town. They treat you like family. Very accommodating. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary there with 24 others and it was perfect. Beautiful views. We loved sleeping with the balcony doors open. A very safe town where everyone takes care of each other. I look forward to returning

The best part of this family owned hotel is the restaurant and the hospitality. We had our favorite dinner of our entire trip in this hotel. There's no menu and the owners will keep bringing out traditional foods (lasagna, eggplant parm, lamb, etc) of the region (with a modern twist). Think Sambucca sangria, antipasto with fig jam. We spent several hours eating and drinking.
We spent 1 evening in the hotel. It's a very basic hotel by US standards and very inexpensive. We had a wonderful view from our balcony of the entire town and the mountains. They served a continental breakfast and amazing cappuccino.
If you want to experience true Italian culture of central Italy, I'd highly recommend. Very friendly staff.

Thanks to the great sense of hospitality and generosity of the owners and staff employed, guests are immediately treated as members of the local community.Any request is fulfilled with a smiling face reflecting a deep-rooted helping attitude.
Through Isa's remarkable cooking expertise,genuine raw ingredients are made into delicious home-made traditional dishes which appeal to the most demanding palates.
