Detailed Reviews
We absolutely loved our stay here and the staff were lovely.
The resort was very empty so we felt like we had it exclusively to ourselves. Our room was nice and beds were comfortable. The aircon was a life saver!
The only thing i will say that it was in the process of renovation and it needed it in some places.
The pool was lovely and really beautiful to look at. The resort It has its own little beach and island. Please note there are crabs everywhere! They have loungers and a cabana type umbrella on the beach, it is quite beautiful to sit and watch a sunrise or sunset. The resort also had a volleyball playing area as well.
The dining at night was beautiful in an open outdoor fale and you could watch the sunset while you eat. The only thing to warn you about is the wild cats they will be hovering around your ankles. If you are a cat lover then you will like this, if not it will be annoying ushering them away as you eat.
The staff were so sweet, knowing it was our last day they put on a buffet breakfast for us!
The pricing was very reasonable and close to the airport. The location is a bit of a drive to Apia centre so you will need a car. However, it is a 10min drive the wharf.
Overall, It was an enjoyable stay.
P.s We stayed here in Nov 2022 - Yes, I am delayed in my review by a "little bit"

This is a very lovely resort. We were there for 5 weeks. The pool is gorgeous. The rooms are nice with a beautiful view. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning kept an even, comfortable temperature! The one girl at the front desk ( I wish I could remember her name) was always so cheerful and helpful. She even helped me write a note in the Samoan language! We did try all the restaurants but our favorite was the Solvent bar. Now for my favorite part of the resort...the breakfast room. Run by the most lovely people and the food was delicious! They truly care about the guests experience! I am going to name my favorite. Not to take away from any of the staff because they were all great. But my favorite (and my husband’s) was Saumama! What an asset she is to this resort. She truly cared about our experience at breakfast and our whole stay. She was so very friendly and interesting. I hope Saumama reads this review so she knows how much the guests appreciate what she does. Maybe she will even tell my Russian friend and baby hello for me! The negatives are short but...housekeeping wasn’t consistent. The spa and gym are too far away from everything. There are no laundry facilities.
Our experience overall was quite lovely. I know most probably won’t stay as long as we did (5 weeks because of work) but I would definitely recommend staying at the Sheraton Beach Resort Samoa. The entire experience in this lovely country was pretty great!

We stayed here the night before we flew out, as it’s only about 5 minutes from the airport. Having come from a much smaller resort we found the Sheraton huge, but the staff were all really lovely and welcoming. The rooms seemed to be a bit rundown, but still clean and comfortable - it felt a bit like it was still waking up after covid. We noticed some areas were closed for redecoration. The beach, pool and general surrounds were great for relaxation and the food was tasty. We really liked that they have rented their shop to a local women’s charity who profit from all sales made at the shop. They had some lovely gifts and souvenirs there as well as some basic snacks and toiletries. Definitely worth staying here for a night or two.

Beach area is beautiful. Nice secluded white sands beach with an island you can walk over during low tide.
Limited breakfast selection but OK. It’s actually better ones in Samoa. Overall the hotel seems not fully ready. Some of the guest room buildings seem in the middle of tear down. The lounge chairs by the pool are moldy and cheap looking. Gym doesn’t have WiFi coverage and it’s far away to get to so can be a challenge to exercise when dark.
The front desk and concierge folks are not reliable. I booked a tour with 9AM pickup. Then I waited one hour at the lobby and front desk people kept telling me car was on its way. First it was supposed to be 930 then 945 then 10AM car showed up. However the tour operator showed me the email they sent to the hotel that they informed the hotel at 6AM the pickup time was revised to 10AM. So overall the front desk dropped the ball big time and tried to cover up with more lies with this 930 945 business that never existed.
Most places don’t have AC. Such as lobby and restaurants or bar. Overall it is not very luxurious but again it is not overpriced either. Just need to adjust expectations.
Hotel had an ATM which is great for you if you want to avoid the credit card surcharge.

My husband I had the most amazing stay at the Sheraton Samoa for our anniversary in December. It was absolutely perfect from start to finish, the hotel and setting are beautiful and the staff went above and beyond for us - we honestly couldn't have asked for a better holiday. Everyone we talked to at the hotel was just so lovely, truly the most welcoming staff out of anywhere we have ever stayed, and we have travelled a lot. I'd like to say a massive thank you to Soloi, Talia, Fa'fetai, Iafeta, Missi and Leianna and all the other staff for being so amazing and even helping out my Samoan language learning! An extra massive thank you to incredible chef Aravindh for making us an exceptional and super special meal for our anniversary. We will never forget our stay here, and we can't wait to return soon. Thank you so much to everyone at the Sheraton for a magical stay. Fa'afetai tele lava!

Extremely spacious complex with 6 room complexes, nice pool area and basically very nice beaches separated by stone piers. However, bathing is very uncomfortable because there is grey mud in the sea up to the shore. The facility was probably a dream before Corona, but now seems neglected outside the central area! This affects both the steps to the beach, the dirty loungers, parts of the SPA (were probably once the jewel of the complex), but also the rain gutters flood the terraces of the rooms on the ground floor.
Food is excellent, staff at reception not helpful, otherwise ok. no excursions are offered, you have to organize yourself. The turtles passing by every day at dusk are kept quiet, so we only discovered them by chance on the penultimate day. Hotel shuttle only to the nearby airport, not to Apia or anywhere else.
The hotel is currently only recommended for short overnight stays before continuing your flight. We were there 5days, was definitely too much. For a Sheraton (or Mariott) hotel disappointing!

Can not believe how beautiful the ocean looks from our room. Amazing sunset views.
The food was awesome with little touches of the island in each dish and the staff was out of this world.
They were so lovely and friendly.
Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Do not come here. I think it’s just reopened (Oct 2024)from ‘renovations’ but it still feels like they are in the middle of it. TERRIBLE pizzas (felt like they were out of a box from a supermarket) & cocktails tasted like they had no alcohol in them. Building debris remains and planting very undeveloped. Room smells musty like it’s been shut up for ages. Furniture cheap and room improvements to be made. Gym and health spa still run down. Highly disappointed. Do not stay here.

Dear Rtanner1975, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. We sincerely apologize for the disappointing experience you encountered and appreciate your honest insights. I also understand your frustration regarding the presence of building debris and the state of landscaping. We are committed to enhancing our property and will ensure these matters are prioritized as we continue our efforts. We value your feedback as it helps us identify areas of improvement, Thank you again for your insights. Kind regards, Apple Buhian Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort Operations Manager

I can recommend this hotel, just 10 min from the airport, great service and excellent staff led by Emanuele who does a great job as GM. Very nice rooms, excellent restaurant with both local and standard choices and live music. Will definitely come back!

Don’t know when the renovations will be complete
But it won’t matter, all the restaurants, pools etc are done and the guests are all in the areas which have been renovated.
The work left to do is in the guest accommodation way down the complex had no impact whatsoever on our stay in May2023.
Was awesome would love to stay there again.
I used it once... it was pretty ordinary
As long as you have a credit card as it is a no cash resort, you pay for what u eat/drink at the time and spa pay when you book. I do not believe you have to pay day charge
Yes just organise through hotel and they charge your account
