My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights for the Easter weekend. We absolutely enjoyed our time here. The food for breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious. Even lunch was awesome. The staff were so friendly and very helpful to anything we asked for. We had a beach front fale and it was so nice and clean. The beds were so comfortable with a handy fan inside. In addition the bathrooms were so nice and clean. Also enjoyed swimming and the beach as well. Lydia and Joseph are great hosts and very helpful if we needed anything, We are certainly looking forward for another stay sometime in the near future.
Litia Sini is as fantastic in real life as it is in the photos. We spent four days there on a family holiday and had a wonderful time. Our beach-front fale had amazing views, and the sea was so warm and clear our kids spent much of the time in there. Kayaks and snorkelling gear is available free of charge, and so is a pool table. The staff are extremely welcoming and made us feel at home. A minor crisis of a flat battery in our hire car when we were leaving to drive to the ferry to Savai'i was averted when Joseph called a friend who arrived with jump leads within 10 minutes to get us on our way.
We wanted to get away from our busy lives for a week and when we chose Litia Sini it was the best choice we could've made. Don't choose Litia Sini if you like fancy resorts, choose Litia Sini if you want genuine Samoan hospitality set on the nicest beach in the land. There is something magical about this place that makes time stand still. It was supposed to be a one-off holiday, and I remember wondering why every other review talked about going back. Now I know. We will go back too! We stayed seven nights, which I highly recommend. It was perfect for complete relaxation and a true family holiday. No decisions to be made about meals, with breakfasts and dinners taken care of. The meals are so incredible we really didn't need lunch. The days we did decide to have lunch we were too full to enjoy dinner. Our fale was really clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are just a short walk away, always clean aswell. And while I was concerned about the cold water showers, it really wasn't an issue in 30 degree heat. Our kids (aged 11 and 12) lived in the water the whole week. We found the sealife fascinating, aswell as the crabs and lizards. We enjoyed trips to To Sua Trench and Namu'a Island nearby where we saw turtles. Both of these trips were possible thanks to wonderful Lydia and Joseph being kind enough to drive us. Our next trip we will probably hire a car so we can explore further on our own. The staff at Litia Sini are so nice, staying for a week meant when it was time to leave it was like saying goodbye to friends. I honestly think we had the best holiday possible, and feel incredibly lucky to have been to Litia Sini.…
This resort is not your up market 5 star but it is better in that the place is beautiful because of the people and the authenticity you get a sense of the real Samoa. the staff are all lovely. You feel instantly relaxed and happy. The beach is outside your door with fabulous snorkelling. The food is lovely. If you want a true relaxing holiday without all the fuss of a busy over westernised resort then this is the place for you. Heaven in every way. Thank you Lydia and Joseph Truley, Heta and all your wonderful staff.
The well trained staff treated us like we were friends. Authentic, delicious food served buffet style for guests to enjoy in the one sitting. Glorious grounds and views over a beautiful beach. Cold water showers in shared bathrooms the only drawback but no big deal. Sad to leave and keen to come back. ❤
Litia Sini. What a great place to stay. Lydia and Joseph are very good hosts. Its not 5 star but it is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Masks, snorkels and fins are available to use. We were amazed by the quality and variety of food available for the breakfast and dinner that comes with your accommodation tariff. There is a great range of drinks available from the bar. The beach is golden sand, the lagoon is crystal clear and perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Beds were very comfortable. If you rent a car and drive to Litia Sini Beach Resort I recommend using the north coast road from Apia. Its in much better shape than the south coast road which disappears occasionally and has huge pot holes. There are plenty of things to do in the villages around Litia Sini Beach Resort including a boat trip out to an Island on the north east coast where we saw sea turtles, large fish and an amazing array of bird life on the island. Well worth the visit ..... don't forget your sun tan lotion and plenty of $5 and $10 tala notes.…
Our family had a beachfront fale. It was very clean and at first seemed small, but was absolutely fine. I would recommend the beachfront fales, as sitting on your veranda looking out to sea is amazing. People talked about the cold shower, I don't really think this is a problem. The beach is fantastic and really there was hardly anyone else around. The snorkeling was average unfortunately, but the kids loved just mucking around on the beach and in the water. The staff were all very friendly. The food was amazing and we were really impressed with what they cooked and had prepared each day. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
Litia Sini's is the perfect spot for a budget friendly holiday in paradise. We were a group of 12 ladies and could not have been looked after any better. The service was impeccable and the food tasty. The Fale's are literally right on the beach, which is incredibly warm and inviting. Whether you are sitting on your balcony, swimming in the sea or chilling in the bar area with a book and a cocktail relaxation is assured. The rooms are basic, cleaned daily and all you need. There is no air conditioning but open windows and the ceiling fan do the trick. Bathroom facilities are shared and the showers are cold (refreshing on a hot, hot day), this would in no way hinder our return. Thank you Lidia and all the team. We will see you next year!
I previously submitted a "terrible" review, I have changed it as Litia Sini pointed out we did not extend our concerns at the time, instead we just left 2 days early which was not the right thing to do. This resort has a lot of great reviews and I was very excited to stay here due to the beach, it was sadly not that great for me. The beach & swimming was not very nice due to rocks and strong currents etc - unlucky timing. I knew this resort was going to be quite basic (the title of the "best beach in Samoa" was what attracted us, not the resort itself) in saying that, the accommodation was a lot more dated & basic than expected - e.g. no mini fridge (although you could hire one if available), useless room fan and stairs to beach are in need of repair etc. Didn't find the shared bathrooms very clean at all and the showers were cold. Very underwhelmed by the quality of food. Also some staff were not particularly welcoming. With improvements, this place could be very good but as is, it felt like a school camp. Overall this is not what I was expecting and would not return, just not my thing.…
This place is in a plum location, squatting just above one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The newish, round fales are very cute... like little beehives above the beach and the balconies in the beach front ones are a bonus. However, given that the bathrooms are shared ( and mostly very clean) the price for what you get is a little high. The furniture in each fale is basic, clunky wooden beds with shiny brown mattress covers and no bedside lights or tables. Pretty basic plastic chairs outside. No beach loungers. The fales reminded me of NZ dental clinics of old. No style, when with a little imagination the decor could be lovely, if Fiji can do it out in the Yasswas and for simi,ar cost why can’t Samoa? The common area was fine, meals were fresh and plentiful, no evening entertainment while we were there although amazing flower arrangements. The family run venture grows all their own vegetables inland and the fish is freshly caught... good cook who regularly prepares raw tuna. The staff are very friendly, we had one issue with one who borrowed money from us for a family emergency then took a while to lay it back, and when we left there were a few discrepancies with the bill. Food and drinks seemed pricier than advertised. …
