We did not have the best experience for the price we paid. It did not provide breakfast for guests. The swimming pool was very dirty. Our first night, the main gate was opened with no security at the grounds, it was not safe especially with 9 kids at the place. There was no emergency number to call in case of emergency as there was no staff at the reception office. One of the kids accidentally locked one of the rooms, and upon asking the lady at the compound for a spare key we were told there are no spare keys for the rooms. We have stayed at most hotels and resorts in Samoa, and this one was the most disappointing. There was absolutely no care or hospitality provided for us as guests at this place.

Thank you to Madeleine and Vani for a great stay. Villas were perfect and nothing beats the view and the breeze that comes through the house. We had everything we needed in our villas and the pool and garden was simply beautiful. Laundry was only $10 a load. Definitely would come back again.

Have recently returned from our stay at Skyview Villas, what a gem! Absolutely stunning, amazing views with a beautiful cool breeze. Not too far from the hustle and bustle. Great location up in the mountains. If you are into walking Bahai Temple is like a 20 min walk uphill. Would highly recommend for families with young children, well suited for little ones and teenagers.

I stayed at SkyView for a week in July. It is a two bedroom suite (one room with a king size, one room with two double beds) with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and a patio with breathtaking views of all of Apia and the Pacific Ocean. It is clean and welcoming, and you can tell they take very good care of not only in the villa, but the entire property itself. The villas are an easy 5 to 10 minute drive from the main town area, but because it is in the mountains, the weather is much much cooler than humid/hot town area. There is also hot water and a lovely swimming pool if you've had a hot day walking around in town and need a cool down. The staff there is great. Very friendly, very accommodating, and had great tips on what to see, where to eat, and all that's happening while we were there. The property has beautiful foliage and you get the true sense of being in Samoa because of how great the vegetation is upkept; they have beautiful trees, gardens, plants, and just a welcoming environment that makes you not want to leave. The property also has laundry facilities, a bar, and common areas for a group to just hang out and enjoy the panoramic views of Apia. I recommend that anyone and everyone stay here. I stayed at Taumeasina and many other hotels in Apia and although each has their own pros and cons, I recommend you stay at SkyView Villas. It is only 5 minutes out of town, the weather is much cooler and you're away from the hustle and bustle. The villas are a great size and 3 times bigger than Taumeasina rooms, but half the price. I'm looking forward to staying there again.

Beautiful location and view is breathtaking. Close to Apia but away from the hustle. Vani is a gem her hospitality was so welcoming. The pool a refreshing break from the Samoan heat. Photos of the view from my villa do not give it justice

We really enjoyed our trip to Samoa in June/July 2016. We stayed at the Skyview villas for one week. They offered us car rental at a reasonable price, however we had already organised to hire a car from another company. The location of the villas is great if you want to be up in the mountains and not so close to the beach. Apia is an easy drive down the mountain (10-15mins). The Baha'i House of Worship is approximately 1km up the mountain from the villas. Visiting the Baha'i temple was a highlight for our family. The staff are friendly. The facilities were not so great when we stayed. Some afternoons when we returned to our accommodation, there was no hot water and the strength of the shower was weak. We were also unable to have any internet access.

Dear Sarah, Talofa lava from the skyview villas staff and management. We would like to thankyou for taking the time to share your feed back. First and foremost we would like to apologize for any shortfall in service and lack of care that you may have experienced. The situation in regards to water supply it was beyond our control whereby the water authority had to install pipelines on the main which disrupted the supply to the property. In regards to (Wifi )interent the problem has been rectified and solved and it is working perfectly now and we will make sure this does not happen in the near future. We do value your feedback and we certainly do not condone this and it can only serve to help us improve. Kind Regards Madeleine
