We decided to stay here for three nights during our time in Apia. For the most part we weren’t disappointed - the room was nice, the staff helpful and the location ideal. Location wise, the place is great. There’s a supermarket less than 50m in either direction from the front gate, the market across the road and the centre of Apia is less than 10 minutes away by foot. The room looked like it had recently been renovated. It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning was a bit suspect at times but thankfully all of the windows opened to allow a cool breeze to flow in. When I booked the room mentioned it was self contained. When we got to the room it had a bar fridge as well as tea/coffee. Outside the room was a kitchen that was available for guest use - maybe that’s what they meant in the description. The disappointing part was the construction noise - which was mentioned to us by a note in the room rather than during checkin or better yet, via email in advance. The complex is extending which means there’s builders and related noise happening from 8am onwards. Add to this the painters painting the exterior of the resort. The flow on for guests is having to work around the builders/painters and deal with the noise during the day. The accommodation was at a cheap price - maybe that’s why. For the room and service alone, we’d stay again. Sadly the building works put a dampener on the experience - and given the progress, it’s likely to be a while longer before they’re finished. …
This hotel is nothing like the photos on Booking.com! And the location is undesirable. The driveway is an unattractive rocky mess. The room was nothing I expected and being pregnant I wanted to have a shower straight away after the flight from Brisbane. The water wasn’t working! And would continue to be not working for another day. So two days all up. We paid the extra for breakfast and the only option you have is eggs and toast with a tiny sausage or porridge. And to make matters worse, it took 45 minutes to get the breakfast in the deserted restaurant. Disappointed to say the least. We ended up cancelling two days in and going to a different hotel. I was too upset to stay. They still wanted to charge us the full 10 days we had booked. Why should we pay for the 10 days when we couldn’t even have a shower?! DO NOT GO HERE. Paying extra for accommodation was worth every cent when we got to our new hotel.…
sue and her daughter made us feel very comfortable at their hotel. the saddest part is leaving the place. location central, clean rooms, professional service and food is decent too! would come back again for sure.
Su Accommodation is thee best place to stay while in Samoa. My husband & I were passing through to go to NZ & upon arriving early, we were greeted by Mariah. She was very friendly & we had double booked & arrived too early for check in time but she took care of us. The workers & evrybody at Su Accommodation made sure we were taken care of & always had a smile on their faces. Mariah told us about their Shan’s kitchen & we were skeptical at first but after our first meal there, we were sold! haha Worth every penny! We felt like we were a part of tha Family as we met tha Dad & Mom & siblings who all take part in their place of work. Our room was perfect! Tha AC was strong, oh tha bed was top notch! Tha bathroom as well was outstanding! Su Accommodation will forever hold a dear place in our hearts.…
The staff were fantastically friendly and accommodating and better still Su is located right in the heart of Apia. Close to Frankies supermarket, the sprawling fresh produce market and there is always a taxi close by. The room was nice enough, beds comfortable but the shower, despite great pressure, seemed blocked and would fill up quickly.
