Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I would not hesitate to give 5 stars to the fantastic staff for the kindness towards the clients at any time. The food from the lounge to the restaurant deserve also 5 stars! Very tasty and great variety of dishes . A buffet for dinner different every day. But i would give only 3 stars for the cleaning in our room and also in the public areas. The main door of the toilets in the lounge are covered in hand prints. We used in our room a cup. It was not cleaned or replaced but just rinsed and put back in the cupboard. The toilets were not clean upon arrival. The bassin tap needs to be mended and the bath is in a terrible state. We also found all cushions on the restaurant chairs very dirty. All covered in stains. But still. We will come back and will recommend this establishment for a short or long stay !!

Our family loved our stay here. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Anything we asked for they provided it for us. We will definitely be staying here again on our futures trips back to Samoa, and have already recommended it to friends and family who are travelling to Samoa soon. The F&B team were the best! They were always smiling and had the coffee and pool towels ready for us. An amazing experience I will never forget 😊

Lovely and friendly staff at the front desk, dining area and generally everywhere in the hotel. A big thank you to Tai and Lofi (front desk) they were awesome and accommodating with our bungalow room needs. It's simple but very spacious. The ladies at touch of samoa (Malia and Dorothy) who provided such great massages with reasonable prices. The quality of the massage was A+ must recommend it. The whole experience at Sheraton was positive, its clean and enjoyable to stay. The only minor problem was the breakfast. We asked for poached eggs but it turned out to be a fully cooked eggs. Thank you Sheraton for a lovely service.

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary. Resort was quiet, however the room we booked with ocean view was under construction. Got a poolside room instead which was nice. Very comfortable bed! Nice pool area and staff were helpful when we asked for anything. It is not on the beachfront, so if you're looking for an idyllic island beach, this isn't the place for you. It is however, close to a good restaurant (Paddles) and close to a great snorkling area (Palolo deep marine reserve). Also shops close by for drinks and snacks.

We were in a room in the old building and the fridge area was infested with roaches. They moved us to another room which I asked to see prior to confirming. It also had roaches and there was mould all over the inside of the cabinet doors and stains all over the carpet. We were moved to the newer building which was nicer however one of the rooms had roaches again in the fridge area. I’m shocked this was missed as they were right there when you open the door. The cleaning staff really need to lift there game. They also kept trying to get out of cleaning our rooms. Knocking to come clean the room then saying it looks ok you don’t need cleaning please. The front desk were amazing however helping to sort the issue. They organised for exterminators the next day. The restaurant staff were great to. They had a good breakfast. There needs to be some upgrades to parts of the hotel and an improvement from the cleaning staff. The staff on room service also need to improve the food. Burgers were great. Salad was ice berg lettuce with small pieces of pumpkin and a little feta. Worst salad I have ever had. We wouldn’t stay here again unless the place got a makeover.

I had a week here with my mother in a bungalow fale. The staff were exceptional. Ever friendly and helpful. They don't get paid much and always appreciate a tip. It was within close walking distance to both the city centre and markets as well as a short stroll away from world class snorkelling- Palolo Deep. I would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.
