It is a quiet lodge among the Mt. Vaea. The interior decoration is simple, and an air conditioner and a microwave oven are fully equipped with beautifully and are very comfortable. Because there is little number of the rooms, an early reservation may be necessary. I think whether it is available if I order the outdoor kitchen. If life in quiet Samoa is a wish, it is very recommended.
I stayed with a large group of friends whilst staying for an extended period of time in Samoa. We found the location higher up on the mountain a bit cooler then being in Apia which was an advantage but the numerous vicious dogs on the street made this a major problem. They provided a cleaner who we then had to pay for as an extra cost to the weekly rate. We raised issues of items being stolen from the clothes line when the cleaner was regularly around but none of these issues were seen too. We were also charged for the use of the towels and linen provided. When we tried to raise the issues of this before leaving we found the owners extremely rude and tried to charge us for as much money as possible. The owners would regularly come into our rooms and we would return to find our belongings disturbed or missing. Over all i believe this place isn't the best choice for accommodation in Apia and there are some far better accommodation options at better prices with far better service.…
The location of this so called ‘lodge’ was terrible! It was located in a residential area a long way from the city centre which was very inconvenient. The rooms are very basic and dirty and hugely overpriced. Also the owners were very unfriendly and rude and we felt like we were an inconvenience to them. They considered our rooms as part of their home which they were free to enter as they pleased. There are so many lovely places to stay in and around Apia but this is certainly not one of them.
This is officially the worst place I have ever stayed. The owners were dishonest, over charged us and refused to return the money owed to us. The property was poorly maintained, there were holes in window screens allowing mosquitos in to the rooms. You were given no privacy as owners would openly walk in to your rooms without permission, whether you were there or not. I would strongly suggest staying away from this place and trying of the many other wonderful accommodation options around Apia.
