Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was blown away by the quality and efficiency of service that we received at the Pacific Pearl. Nothing we asked for was too hard and we always knew that we were in good hands. When we wanted to rent a car at the last min we were presented with several options with costs and even how long it would take to arrange. The rooms were great, cool and spotless. TV a bit snowy but no worse than in pvt homes. Breakfast was simple but I did not need more. WiFi fast and inexpensive by New Zealand standards. What makes this hotel stand out was the service that all 5* hotels I have stayed at should seek to mimic. We will be back in July and I look forward to it!

We stayed at Pacific Pearl in Apia for 4 nights and LOVED it! We felt like we were home and being looked after. Adonna is such a sweetheart as is all of the staff! Adonna is so loving and attentive to her guests and treats everyone like her own family! They will do anything to make sure their guests are happy! They even switched out the bed in the room to make sure we had a bed that would be large enough for us! They also called the airlines to find out that our plane was delayed over 10 hours. Adonna insisted on letting us stay at the hotel with no extra charge and really looked after us! If you want to get the real experience of being in Samoa, stay at the Pacific Pearl. It's clean and the rooms are nice and cool. They will take great care of you!! We were sad to leave and hugged Adonna as we left! We really cannot say enough good things about this place...we loved it!!

I have stayed in this hotel on a number of trips over the last 13 or so months and wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff who manage it are clearly professionals and ensure that anything required is taken care of. They arrange airport pick-up and drop-off. It is a small hotel within easy walk of the Town of Apia. Because it is a small establishment the managers get to know the guests and it isn't long before one makes friends of other professionals - a great meet and greet spot. I will continue to use the hotel as long as I come to Samoa.

I stayed in the Pacific Hotel for the last week of my contract in Samoa. A friend who had come to Samoa to help me packed up stayed with me there too - so she was on holidays. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The beds are comfortable and the linen is crisp and clean. The breakfast each morning is a light breakfast, maximising the beautiful local fruit in season. The location is excellent - near to the middle of Apia - providing a great central spot for business people, but also for tourists who want to be based in a central location. The staff at the hotel are all well trained, friendly and efficient. The business is a family owned business, and the owners take a great interest in the quality of the experience for their guests.

Business Consultant, you leave the hotel in the morning, ready to face the heat with a full stomach (delicious light breakfast) and back in the evening to lot of Hello's and smiles and a cold VAILIMA...(local beer) or if you prefer there's an excellent selection of wines at a reasonable price, even for a hotel. It's a boutique style hotel, room is spacious, d/bed, two seater lounge, mini bar fridge (daily stocked if you wish), microwave, tv and wireless internet service that actually works. The rooms are configured to your preference not more than 3 per room. Good strong aircondition, hot water, laundry service, and eating facilities are within walking distance or cost you $3.00 to the center of Apia. You won't find any bugs here, no matter what time you get in, rooms are kept in immaculate condition, the owners are very accomodating and attentive to your needs. If a meeting need's to be set up, small fee for a conference room attached to the hotel and it is popular for workshops or meetings. It lived up to their professional reputation, excellent service and tasty food. It is definately value for money. Good place to network with local or international consultants. A busy consultant second home. Hands on operation. It has a 3 d/room apartment, own kitchen, everthing you need, this is great value for parents travelling with children or a group of friends. I definately recommend this place to anyone.
